Congressman Gerry Connolly Stands up For Islam

About a week ago, Pat Robertson stated that Islam is a "violent political system."

He happens to be correct, but as usual one of our politicians has to come running to stand up for a religion/political system that they know little about.

Virginia's 11Th District Congressman Gerry Connolly (D), has issued this statement calling for Pat Robertson to apologize for his comments about Islam.

“In the week since Mr. Robertson’s statement that Islam is ‘not a religion’ but a ‘violent political system’ whose adherents should be treated like members of the communist or fascist party, I have heard from hundreds of outraged Northern Virginians – Muslim and non-Muslim. Here in the 11Th Congressional District of Virginia and, in fact, across our Commonwealth, Muslim-Americans are a vibrant part of our communities. They serve in our nation’s military, contribute to our economic growth, and in myriad other ways, help form the diverse tapestry that is Virginia in the 21st century.

“Some will dismiss Mr. Robertson’s comments as the strange ramblings of a man stuck in a bygone era. But when a prominent Virginian chooses to engage in hate-filled rhetoric that divides us and has the potential to fuel real discord in our polity, leaders cannot remain silent. That is why I am calling on Mr. Robertson to apologize to my constituents – Muslim and non-Muslim – for the hurt he has caused and the damage he has done. It is a week overdue.”

Of course Robertson should never apologize for speaking the truth. But I was curious if the Congressman had any sound evidence to back up his statement. So I called his Washington DC office today.

When I called a staff member named Nick answered. I stated that I am calling in regards to the Congressman telling Robertson to apologize and why does he believe that Robertson's comments were not accurate? I mentioned this site, what is was about and if I could ask a few questions. Nick stated that he didn't know about the issue, but he would write down the questions and give them to the Congressman.

These were the three questions.

1. The"Justice" chapter of Reliance of the Traveller
A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law, describes Jihad as the following.

o9.0 JIHAD
(O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and it etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad.

Does the Congressman think that this is non-violent?

2. The Congressman spoke of division. Koran verse 9:29 specifically calls for Muslims to dominate and extort non-Muslims (jizya). Is that not division?

009.029
YUSUFALI: Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

3. Congressman Connolly mentioned "hate-filled rhetoric" coming from Robertson. Saying that he "hurt" Muslims. I stated that under Islam, Jesus will come back as a Muslim and destroy Christianity. I am "hurt" and "offended", will Connolly make a statement against Islam now?

Of course he will not, but we have to pressure our politicians and let them know that Muslims are not the only ones living here. As for staff member Nick, he was very polite and interested in what I had to say. He said that I shall receive an answer in the mail. I wouldn't be holding my breath though.

Muslim AIMMedia: Fort Hood Attack is Justified Attack on Enemy~Video

While many Muslims have tried to spin and distance the Fort Hood attack from Islam, this Muslim tells the truth. Below are some comments left by Muslims about this video.

Mujahid1

It made me sick to my stomach when I saw an email from ISNA setting up a fund for the families of the "victims". I mean, are the kuffar setting up funds for all the orphans in that have been left behind with no father's? No!

Military Religious Freedom Foundation: Leading Jew Takes Stand for Islam (Fort Hood related)

I am just curious as to what part of Islam does this man respect, is it this?

Book 041, Number 6985:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

Will Jews and Christians ever stop taking a stand for a religion that calls for their dominance and ultimate destruction?

Advocate for military’s Jews speaking up for Islam in wake of Fort Hood killings

WASHINGTON (JTA) -- Mikey Weinstein is probably best known for defending Jews from alleged bigotry and harassment in the U.S. military. In the past few days, however, he's been raising questions about whether there's an anti-Muslim bias in the service as well.

Weinstein, the founder and president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, says Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's alleged killing of 13 soldiers at Fort Hood is inexcusable and reprehensible. But he also believes it is important to investigate reports of harassment that Hasan allegedly faced as a Muslim in the military -- mistreatment that Weinstein says could have contributed to his mental state.

“There's enough out there” to look into, Weinstein said. “I'm not excusing him, but did it affect him or was he just a maniac to begin with?”

Weinstein cited media reports quoting members of Hasan's family saying that someone had put a diaper in his car and told him, “That's your headdress,” and that a camel was drawn on his car with the words “Camel jockey, get out!”

Weinstein also provided a letter, with the name withheld, from a Muslim woman and wife of a member of the military in which she described how her best friend on the base, immediately after the shooting, told her that “Muslims shouldn't even be allowed in the U.S. Army” and that she repeatedly heard things like “Go back to your country” and “F-ing Muslims” as she shopped at the base commissary.

Weinstein, who spent 10 years in the Air Force as a military attorney, or JAG, said he also doesn't believe reports that Hasan's colleagues hesitated to report his changes in behavior because of political correctness. In fact, he claimed, Hasan's superiors would have been sympathetic to hearing such charges because of their strong Christian beliefs.

Weinstein's last statement completely goes against the facts that have come out. He does not seem to deal in the reality of our politically correct military "leaders".

Hasan Wanted Patients to Face war Crimes Charges

According to past news accounts Islamic terrorist Hasan, stated that the "Infidels Should Have Their Throats cut", and "maybe the Muslims could stand up and fight against the aggressor". Amazingly neither of these statements were enough to have him discharged. The news this morning is even more disturbing, as our brave soldiers were forced to confide with Hasan and he was playing games with their minds. Stating that some of them should be charged with war crimes. Our so called military leaders should be ashamed of themselves, for allowing this to go on.

Fort Hood captain: Hasan wanted patients to face war crimes charges
November 17, 2009
By BROOKS EGERTON / The Dallas Morning News
Dave Michaels and Lee Hancock contributed to this report.

Fort Hood massacre suspect Nidal Malik Hasan sought to have some of his patients prosecuted for war crimes based on statements they made during psychiatric sessions with him, a captain who served on the base said Monday.

Other psychiatrists complained to superiors that Hasan's actions violated doctor-patient confidentiality, Capt. Shannon Meehan told The Dallas Morning News.

One day after the Nov. 5 attack that killed 13 and wounded 29, a Fort Hood official said she had never received complaints about Hasan's job performance. Col. Kimberly Kesling, deputy commander of clinical services at the base's Darnall Army Medical Center, also said he was a "hardworking, dedicated young man who gave great care to his patients."

Fort Hood officials did not respond to interview requests late Monday. They have declined in recent days to say anything about the major, citing the ongoing investigation.

Meehan said he learned of Hasan's prosecution requests from another base psychiatrist. That psychiatrist could not be reached for comment Monday.

The revelations add to a portrait of Hasan as a man at odds with many of those around him – emotionally, religiously and ideologically. He was, by various accounts, lonely, paranoid and increasingly zealous in his fundamentalist Islamic beliefs. He had been writing e-mails to a radical cleric in Yemen who called the U.S. war on terror a "war against Muslims" and advocated killing soldiers.

It wasn't clear Monday what information Hasan received from patients and what became of his requests for prosecution. ABC News, citing anonymous sources, reported that his superiors rejected the requests, and that investigators suspect this triggered the shootings.

Hasan may have been legally justified in reporting what patients disclosed, said Patrick McLain, a Dallas lawyer who specializes in military defense work and is not involved in the Hasan case. But it's impossible to be sure without knowing exactly what they said, he added.

"He was right on his authority to report it," said the ex-Marine, who formerly served as a court-martial judge. The Army teaches all service members that they have a duty to report evidence of war crimes.

Hasan's civilian lawyer in Central Texas, retired Col. John P. Galligan, did not respond to interview requests Monday. His client remains in a San Antonio military hospital, paralyzed from the waist down by police gunfire and facing premeditated murder charges.

Pain and guilt

Meehan, the Fort Hood captain, expressed skepticism with Hasan's requests that patients be prosecuted. "They're going in there confessing their pain and their guilt," he said, describing soldiers' postwar visits to therapists. "He's trying to turn it into a war crime."

3 Star Gen.: Army was Afraid to Deal With Hasan Because he is a Muslim~Video

General Casey obviously does not have the guts to speak the truth about the Islamic terrorist attack on Fort Hood. But retired Army three-star Gen. Jerry Boykin, pulls no punches in this short interview. Here is an excerpt from the video.

"I think everybody in America realizes that the persecution of Christians is acceptable in our society today by both the leadership and the media, but no one wants to offend a Muslim," said Boykin. "

Columnist S. Chapman: US Soldiers Might Have Driven Hasan to Terrorism

Columnist Steve Chapman who bills himself as "solving the world's problems one post as at time", has written this truly ignorant article about the Islamic attack on Fort Hood.

Islam and Fort Hood
By Steve Chapman
Conservatives have been quick to trumpet the fact that the alleged killer at Fort Hood, Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, is a Muslim--the implication being that Muslims are inherently untrustworthy, hostile to America, at odds with civilized norms of behavior or something. But if that were the case, incidents like this would be common, not rare. It would be absurd and dangerous to anathematize all American Muslims on the basis of one alleged murderer.

Has Steve been in a coma for the last few months? Obviously he missed all of the arrests of American Muslims and terror plots that have been broken up. This is besides that hate that is being preached against America. Here is a recent recap.

We have the Islamos of NY based RevolutionMuslim.com preaching their hatred on the streets every week. The shootout with the now dead Detroit Imam who had a crew of Sharia loving Muslims, a US Muslim stating that homosexuals should be killed under Sharia Law, Boston Muslims that were plotting to open fire on random mall shoppers,, and there was also three other Islamic terror plots uncovered in one day here in America.

Are these actions not hostile to America Steve? Try and pay attention.
On top of his ignorance, Steve has the nerve to imply that the non-Muslim soldiers might have driven Hasan to turn into an Islamic terrorist.

It may be that Hasan subscribed to a jihadist ideology that drove him to kill his fellow soldiers. But it could be that Islam is just a distraction from more fundamental problems, such as insanity or just plain viciousness. Hasan reportedly complained of being harassed by his colleagues about his religion. Maybe he didn't think Islam was hostile to America; maybe they convinced him that America is hostile to Islam.

The Islamic victim card is pretty pathetic and part of the reason that the problems that stem from Islam are now in our backyard.

In his closing paragraph Steve goes into the full defense mode for Islam.

In any movement, religious or political, there are a few dangerous people. As a rule, all that proves about the movement in question is that it is composed of human beings. If it turns out Hasan is guilty, Islam is not the problem with him any more than Jodie Foster was the problem with John Hinckley.

Please point out any other religious or political movement that is causing problems across the world, like Islam is. You cannot Mr. Chapman.

His last sentence is some statement. So all of those Islamic warning signs, that have come to light have nothing to do with Islam? Obviously Steve finds life more comforting in fantasy land. Because what has has written in not the reality. People like Steve will never solve this problem, as he is part of it.

Pat Robertson: Islam is Violent Political System~Video

Pat Robertson speaks of the Fort Hood attack and unlike our lying Obama, he tells us straight out what Islam is.

DOD Worker Assessed Fort Hood Suspect Months ago

Lets add a Department of Defense (DOD) worker to the list of US officials, that didn't have the guts to do what is right and call for the Fort Hood killer to be discharged. Thus allowing him to go on his Islamic rampage. Gutlessness at the top, lead to chaos below.

DOD worker assessed Fort Hood suspect months ago
By DEVLIN BARRETT

WASHINGTON – A Defense Department worker on a terrorism task force looked into Fort Hood shooting suspect Nidal Hasan's background months ago, officials said Tuesday — providing fresh evidence the military knew worrisome details about the Army psychiatrist before the shooting rampage.

Two officials speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case on the record said the Washington-based joint terrorism task force overseen by the FBI was notified of communications between Hasan and a radical imam overseas, and the information was turned over to a Defense Criminal Investigative Service employee assigned to the task force.

That worker wrote up an assessment of Hasan after reviewing the Army major's personnel file and the communications. The assessment concluded Hasan did not merit further investigation, in large part because his communications with the imam were centered around a research paper he was writing at the time, and the investigator had concluded Hasan was in fact working on such a paper, the officials said.

The disclosure came as questions swirled about whether opportunities were missed to head off the massacre and the FBI launched its own internal review of how it handled the early information about Hasan. Military, law enforcement and intelligence agencies are all defending themselves against tough questions about what each of them knew about Hasan before he allegedly opened fire in a crowded room at the huge military base in Texas.

Thirteen people were killed and 29 wounded. Hasan, awake and talking to doctors, met his lawyer Monday in the San Antonio hospital where he is recovering, under guard, from gunshot wounds in the assault.

Investigators still believe Hasan acted alone, despite his communications with the Anwar al-Awlaki, an imam released from a Yemeni jail last year who has used his personal Web site to encourage Muslims across the world to kill U.S. troops in Iraq. Despite that, no formal investigation was opened into Hasan, they said.

Investigative officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case. Republican Rep. Pete Hoekstra of Michigan, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said it was his understanding Hasan and the imam exchanged e-mails that counterterrorism officials picked up.

Officials said Hasan will be tried in a military court, not a civilian one, a choice that suggests his alleged actions are not thought to have emanated from a terrorist organization.

Obama: "No Faith Justifies These Murderous and Craven Acts...."

The lies from our so called leaders in regards to the Islamic terrorist attack on Fort Hood continue. Today Islam loving Obama, states that "No faith justifies these murderous and craven acts; no just and loving God looks upon them with favor,"

Obama, did you happen to miss these sections of the Islamic scriptures?

From the Koran.

008.012
YUSUFALI: Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."

008.013
YUSUFALI: This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger: If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment.

008.060
YUSUFALI: Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.

009.073
YUSUFALI: O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge indeed.

From the Hadiths.

Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Book 52:
Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad)

Volume 4, Book 52, Number 41:

Narrated Abdullah bin Masud:

I asked Allah's Apostle, "O Allah's Apostle! What is the best deed?" He replied, "To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times." I asked, "What is next in goodness?" He replied, "To be good and dutiful to your parents." I further asked, what is next in goodness?" He replied, "To participate in Jihad in Allah's Cause." I did not ask Allah's Apostle anymore and if I had asked him more, he would have told me more.

Volume 4, Book 52, Number 50:

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet said, "A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah's Cause in the forenoon or in the afternoon is better than the world and whatever is in it."

Obama salutes Fort Hood victims, condemns murders
By BEN FELLER

FORT HOOD, Texas – One by one, President Barack Obama spoke the names and told the stories Tuesday of the 13 people slain in the Fort Hood shooting rampage, honoring their memories as he denounced the "twisted logic" that led to their deaths.

"No faith justifies these murderous and craven acts; no just and loving God looks upon them with favor," Obama told the crowd on a steamy Texas afternoon. "And for what he has done, we know that the killer will be met with justice — in this world and the next."

He did not name Maj. Nidal Hasan,
the military psychiatrist accused of the killings. As for the victims and the soldiers who rushed to help them, Obama said, "We need not look to the past for greatness, because it is before our very eyes." He spoke at a memorial service before a crowd estimated at 15,000 on this enormous Army post.

My Conversation With a Sen. Lindsey Graham Staff Member

This morning I put a call into the Washington office of (R-SC) Senator L. Graham. I called in regards to his statement that the Fort Hood attack had nothing to do with Islam or the war. Which can be seen here.

Here is how the short conversation took place.

CL: Hi my name is Chris and I am run a website called Islam in Action. I am calling in regards to the Senator's TV statement that the Fort Hood attack had nothing to do with Islam or the war. How did he come up with this statement, when the evidence clearly shows us otherwise? I can read off plenty of Koran quotes which show that this act was in accordance with Islam.

Staff member: What show was this on?

CL: Face the Nation.

Staff member: He must of said this before an evidence came to light.

CL: On November 5Th, a colleague of Malik Hasan named Terry Lee told Fox News that Hasan had made the following statement, "maybe the Muslims could stand up and fight against the aggressor". That is a clear statement of being against the war and in support of Islam. The Senator made his statement on the 8Th.

Staff member: Well, I don't know what to tell you there.

CL: That is your answer? That is the best you can come up with?

Then there were several seconds of silence on the phone.

Staff member: Maybe he was trying to protect the Muslims that are still serving against a backlash.

CL: How nice, how come the Senator or anybody else didn't bother to protect the non-Muslim soldiers from Hasan after knowing that Hasan was a threat for months? Why is it that everyone bends over in a politically correct effort to make sure that Muslim are not offended? When do non-Muslims stand up for each other? Our #1 policy in this war is not to offend the Muslims. These are the same policies that are sinking the UK in regards to Islam. So why are we following them?

After a sigh from him and long silent break of at least 8 or 9 seconds, I said thanks for having no real answers, have a good day.

As you can see many of our so called leaders are gutless, we are in a world of trouble my friends.

Senator Graham: Fort Hood Attack is not About Islam~Video

Senator Lindsey Graham, explains to us how the Fort Hood attack is certainly not about Islam, or the war. Unfortunately the words and actions of Malik Hasan clearly show us otherwise. Reality is not Graham's strong point.

U.S. Aware of Hasan Efforts to Contact al Qaeda

More distrubing news on just how much US officials actually knew about the Fort Hood terrorist Malik Hassan. The finger pointing has started, but the bottom line is that no one had the guts to do the right thing and discharge Hasan. Politically correct cowardice caused these deaths.

Officials: U.S. Aware of Hasan Efforts to Contact al Qaeda
Army Major in Fort Hood Massacre Used 'Electronic Means' to Connect with Terrorists
By RICHARD ESPOSITO, MATTHEW COLE and BRIAN ROSS
Nov. 9, 2009

U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.

It is not known whether the intelligence agencies informed the Army that one of its officers was seeking to connect with suspected al Qaeda figures, the officials said.

Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said that he requested the CIA and other intelligence agencies brief the committee on what was known, if anything, about Hasan by the U.S. intelligence community, only to be refused.

In response, Hoekstra issued a document preservation request to four intelligence agencies. The letter, dated November 7th, was sent to directors Dennis Blair (DNI), Robert Mueller (FBI), Lt. Gen Keith Alexander (NSA) and Leon Panetta (CIA).

Hoekstra said he is "absolutely furious" that the house intel committee has been refused an intelligence briefing by the DNI or CIA on Hasan's attempt to reach out to al Qaeda, as first reported by ABC News.

"This is a law enforcement investigation, in which other agencies—not the CIA—have the lead," CIA spokesman Paul Gimigliano said in a response to ABC News. " Any suggestion that the CIA refused to brief Congress is incorrect."

Fort Hood Killer: Infidels Should Have Their Throats cut

All of these lives were needlessly lost because some military members did not want to "offend" this hate spewing Muslim. Those that stayed silent have blood on their hands.

Fort Hood gunman had told US military colleagues that infidels should have their throats cut

Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the gunman who killed 13 at America's Fort Hood military base, once gave a lecture to other doctors in which he said non-believers should be beheaded and have boiling oil poured down their throats.

By Nick Allen in Fort Hood
08 Nov 2009

He also told colleagues at America's top military hospital that non-Muslims were infidels condemned to hell who should be set on fire. The outburst came during an hour-long talk Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, gave on the Koran in front of dozens of other doctors at Walter Reed Army Medical Centre in Washington DC, where he worked for six years before arriving at Fort Hood in July.

Colleagues had expected a discussion on a medical issue but were instead given an extremist interpretation of the Koran, which Hasan appeared to believe.

It was the latest in a series of "red flags" about his state of mind that have emerged since the massacre at Fort Hood, America's largest military installation, on Thursday.

Hasan, armed with two handguns including a semi-automatic pistol, walked into a processing centre for soldiers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan, where he killed 13 and injured more than 30.

Fellow doctors have recounted how they were repeatedly harangued by Hasan about religion and that he openly claimed to be a "Muslim first and American second."

One Army doctor who knew him said a fear of appearing discriminatory against a Muslim soldier had stopped fellow officers from filing formal complaints.

Another, Dr Val Finnell, who took a course with him in 2007 at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland, did complain about Hasan's "anti-American rants." He said: "The system is not doing what it's supposed to do. He at least should have been confronted about these beliefs, told to cease and desist, and to shape up or ship out. I really questioned his loyalty."

Selena Coppa, an activist for Iraq Veterans Against the War, said: "This man was a psychiatrist and was working with other psychiatrists every day and they failed to notice how deeply disturbed someone right in their midst was."

One of Hasan's neighbours described how on the day of the massacre, about 9am, he gave her a Koran and told her: "I'm going to do good work for God" before leaving for the base.

Army Chief Concerned for Muslim Troops

General Casey who in another article posted here today said that the Fort Hood attack might be terrorism, has once again bowed down to Islam. He has stated that he is concerned for the Muslims troops. How politically correct George. Did you or anyone else in charge, have any concerns for our non-Muslims troops after all the warning signs came out about Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan? Our brave soldiers died because of politically correct policies. Absolutely pathetic.

Army Chief Concerned for Muslim Troops

By JOSEPH BERGER
Published: November 8, 2009

General George Casey Jr., the Army chief of staff, said on Sunday that he was concerned that speculation about the religious beliefs of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, accused of killing 12 fellow soldiers and one civilian and wounding dozens of others in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, could “cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers.”

“I’ve asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that,” General Casey said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union. “It would be a shame — as great a tragedy as this was — it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty as well.”

General Casey, who was appeared on three Sunday news programs, used almost the same language during an interview on ABC’s “This Week With George Stephanopoulos,” an indication of the Army’s effort to ward off bias against the more than 3,000 Muslims in its ranks.

“A diverse Army gives us strength,” General Casey, who visited Fort Hood Friday, said on “This Week.”

At a news conference in Fort Hood, near Killeen, Tex., the Army announced that 16 of the wounded remained hospitalized, with seven in intensive care. Major Hasan, who was shot by a base police officer, was listed in stable but critical condition.

The major, a 39-year-old psychiatrist, is the American-born son of Palestinian immigrants. He vocally opposed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and seems to have moved toward more extreme religious beliefs in recent years, according to the investigators. Investigators have tentatively concluded that he acted alone and was not part of a terrorist plot.

Senator Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut, appearing on “Fox News Sunday,” labeled the shooting spree “the most destructive terrorist act to be committed on American soil since 9/11” and said that as chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee he intended to investigate Major Hasan’s suspected motives and whether the Army “missed warning signs that should have led them to essentially discharge him.”

“If Hasan was showing signs, saying to people that he had become an Islamist extremist, the U.S. Army has to have zero tolerance,” Senator Lieberman said. “He should have been gone.”

Asked whether he thought the Army “dropped the ball” in not responding to warning signs that the major was increasingly radical, General Casey replied that he was encouraging soldiers to provide information to criminal investigators. But he added that the Army needs to be careful not to jump to conclusions based on early tidbits of information.

“The speculation could heighten the backlash,” he said on “This Week.” “What happened at Fort Hood is a tragedy and I believe it would be a greater tragedy if diversity became a casualty here.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Republican of South Carolina, and Sen. Jack Reed, a Democrat of Rhode Island, took also pains on Sunday to say that Muslims have served honorably in the military and at risk to their lives.

“At the end of the day this is not about his religion — the fact that this man was a Muslim,” Senator Graham said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

Senator, so Hasan being a Muslim and not wanting to go fight against other Muslims has nothing to do with Islam. Try reality, sir.

Gen. Casey: Fort Hood Attack Might be Terrorism

Really George, what a brilliant synopsis. The problem is that you are either lacking the knowledge or guts to actually call it what it is, Islamic terrorism. You have now joined ranks with Clueless McChrystal. With "leaders' like this, we will never win this war. Our brave troops deserve so much better.

Ft. Hood: Gen. Casey Doesn't Rule Out Terrorism
November 08, 2009 9:42 AM

The Army’s top officer, General George Casey wouldn’t rule out the possibility that the mass killing at Ft. Hood was an act of terrorism. I asked General Casey about warning signs that could have been acted upon and if this was a premeditated act of terrorism or if this is a case of someone who just snapped. Casey said, “I think we need to be very careful here on speculations based on anecdotes like that.”

“We all want to know what happened and what motivated the suspect, but I think we need to be very, very careful here in these early days and let the investigation take its course,” Casey told me on ‘This Week.’

General Casey told me on This Week that he’s worried that diversity could become another victim of Thursday’s mass killing at Ft. Hood. The incident was not the first case of fratricide by a Muslim and when I asked how the military plans to deal with this potential problem in its ranks, Casey said, “Speculation could potentially heighten backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers and what happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy, but I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here. It’s not just about Muslims, we have a very diverse army, we have very diverse society and that gives us all strength. But again we need to be very careful about that.”

Khadeeja Nuur Dr. Hasan is on the DHS Presidential Task Force: http://www.gwumc.edu/hspi/old/PTTF_ProceedingsReport_05.19.09.pdf (page 32). Change is coming. Embrace Allah.

It is a real shame that lowlifes like Khadeeja even get to live in our great country. This woman does not deserve our freedoms, she deserves to see the inside of a military prison!

Muslims Across the Country cry Victim

The Islamic victim card which was first played in Fort Meyers, and Chicago, is now being used across the country. According to these Muslims, Islam was not a factor in the Fort Hood attack. My advice to the Islamic community is to stop insulting our intelligence with your obvious lies. Islam had everything to do with this cowardly attack.

Another attack leaves US Muslims fearing backlash

As word spread that a gunman had opened fire at Fort Hood leaving a trail of carnage, a chilling realization swept across the U.S. Muslim community: He has an Islamic name.

From a professor who just testified in Congress, to a White House adviser appearing before a Jewish group and a former Marine driving home from work, Muslims across the country were shocked, angry and afraid that the attack would erode efforts to erase anti-Islamic stereotypes.

Many Islamic leaders said the Fort Hood tragedy that left 13 dead and 30 wounded including the alleged gunman, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, could likely post the sternest test for U.S. Muslims since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

"A lot of us work very hard for this country, to make America a better place," said Muqtedar Khan, a progressive Muslim scholar who has just given Congressional testimony on U.S. foreign policy in Afghanistan before Thursday's attack. "And this one nut like Maj. Hasan comes along and in one crazy episode of a few seconds he undermines these years and years of hard work we are doing to make American Muslims part of the mainstream in the community."

Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, is a Muslim who attended his former mosque daily and had an "Allah is Love" bumper sticker on his car. Soldiers reported Friday that the shooter shouted "Allahu Akbar!" — Arabic for "God is great!" — during the rampage.

Other troubling details also emerged, including reports that authorities suspect Hasan posted online messages about suicide bombers and violence, was struggling with a pending deployment to Afghanistan and was being harassed in the Army for being a Muslim.

While a motive remains unclear, the confirmation of Hasan's faith alone prompted major Muslim groups and mosques to issue statements condemning the killings as contrary to Islam and praising the service of the many Muslim Americans in the U.S. military.

Of immediate concern was security at mosques Friday, Islam's main day of communal prayer.

In Washington, Chicago and elsewhere, mosques asked police for extra patrols. In Garden Grove, Calif., officers stood watch outside a mosque as a precaution.

Muslim leaders warned people to be vigilant and avoid exposing themselves unnecessarily — including walking alone, said Hussam Ayloush, director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Southern California.

"This is one of those moments where we have to sit and pray that most Americans will come out stronger, more united, and more tolerant," said Ayloush, adding that Muslim organizations have received dozens of death threats and hate e-mail.

At the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring, Md., which Hasan attended before moving to Fort Hood, Imam Mohamed Abdullahi urged worshippers Friday to tell their non-Muslim neighbors that Islam was not responsible for the deaths. He also advised them to keep their tempers in check.

"Whenever we hear the name turns out to be Arabic or Muslim we feel a double shock" about such incidents. "And then we worry about backlash," said Imam Mostafa Al-Qazwini of the Islamic Educational Center of Orange County in Costa Mesa, Calif.

U.S. Rep. Andre Carson, an Indiana Democrat who is one of two Muslims serving in Congress, cautioned against focusing on the alleged shooter's religion and instead said the discussion should be about mental health issues.

"This is no way a reflection of Islam any more than Timothy McVeigh's actions are a reflection of Christianity," said Carson, who supervised an anti-terrorism unit in Indiana's Department of Homeland Security and comes from a family of Marines.

Eboo Patel, the executive director of Chicago-based Interfaith Youth Core, had just spoken at a Union of Reform Judaism conference in Toronto on Thursday night when a rabbi told him: "The guy had a Muslim name."

"I had just spoken from the tradition of Islam ... on the importance of interfaith cooperation and building Muslim-Jewish bridges," said Patel, who sits on a White House faith-based advisory board. "I wish that was viewed as reflective of Islam instead of a deranged lunatic who was acting only in the tradition of deranged lunacy, not in the tradition of any faith."

But other Muslims were weary of what has become a routine: a Muslim does something unspeakable, and Islamic organizations issue statements condemning it.

"Truth be told, we're getting a little exhausted because we've done this to death," said Robert Salaam of Maryland, a former Marine who converted to Islam shortly after the 9-11 attacks and now blogs and hosts a radio show on Muslim affairs. "We're apologizing for people we don't know."

Still, driving home from work listening to the news Thursday, Salaam thought: "God, I hope it's not a Muslim."

Chicago Area Mosques Play Victim Card After Islamic Terror Attack on Fort Hood

Just this morning we read about Muslims at Fort Meyers playing the usual Islamic victim card. Of course other Muslims have followed their lead. This time Muslims of Chicago are looking to get the focus of non-Muslims, off of the Islamic attack and on to the security of them. Never let them take our focus off of the threat of Islam!

One of the Mosques in the Chicago is the Bridgeview Mosque. Here is a little back round information on them.

A plea from Bridgeview to a Saudi charity asked for money "before it becomes too late and we may lose our children because they are living in an unIslamic society." One mosque fundraising brochure warned that Chicago's Muslims were at risk of "melting in the American society, culture and lifestyle."

Sermons are in Arabic and claim authentic interpretations of the Koran along with following strict Islamic rule. Jamal Said mixes eloquent sermons with ardent pleas to help oppressed Muslims. As prayer leader, he preached that America was a land of disbelievers, where families were not valued. Some of the sheik's edicts include: don't celebrate Valentine's Day and Thanksgiving because those were not Islamic holidays. Don't listen to contemporary music. Women should not travel long distances without chaperons. Those that criticize mosque leaders to outsiders are "hypocrites".

Obviously a Mosque of the enemy, which means that they do not deserve to have one-cent of our money spent on them for special treatment.

Mosques boost security after killings
November 6, 2009

Mosques across the Chicago area are increasing security and asking Muslims to be vigilant for fear of retaliation following the Fort Hood shootings.

The suspect is a Muslim who’s accused of opening fire on fellow soldiers in a rampage that left 13 people dead and dozens injured.

The Islamic Society of Northwest Suburbs of Chicago has sent e-mails asking Muslims to be more careful, especially on Friday, the day Muslims hold communal prayers.

The Mosque Foundation president in Bridgeview says he’s called police to put them on high alert. Zaher Sahloul says he fears something could be done to Muslims because of “misguided anger.”

The Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago has instructed imams to address Thursday’s shooting and talk generally about violence in America.

Islamic Center for PEACE in Fort Myers Requests Additional Police Patrols

I knew it wouldn't be long after yesterday's horrific Islamic attack at Fort Hood, before Muslims cried victim. Crying victim, even though they admit that no threats have been made against them. How about us non-Muslims play the victim card and protect ourselves by demanding an end to Muslim immigration? That would be a good start.

Islamic Center for PEACE in Fort Myers requests additional police patrols

11:09 A.M. — Following the shootings at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas on Thursday, those at the Islamic Center for PEACE in Fort Myers have requested additional police patrols, though there have so far been no threats to the center.

Alibaba Lumumba, president of the center, said anytime there is a crime allegedly committed by a Muslim, the whole Muslim community suffers.

“But when there is a Christian who commits a crime, we don’t get into his religion or whether he wears a cross or not,” Lumumba said. “It’s a lack of knowledge about what Islam is and what it is not. Such acts of violence, especially if there were women, children or elderly who were hurt, are not condoned by Islam.”

Lumumba said he learned of the shootings after receiving a call from a religious leader at a different center, who also expressed concern of the safety of Muslims in their community.

“We do send our condolences to all the families that lost someone from that shooting, and to the people that were injured, I pray for them that their injuries will heal,” Lumumba said.
