Christians Stuck in an Islamic Hell

As I surf the net I see many Christians standing up for the ideology of Islam. Most of them have not done any research on Islam. They have been told by Muslims, that Islam is a religion of peace. Well if that were true then why are Christians and Jews being persecuted across the Islamic world? Christians need to see Islam for what it is, a dominating ideology that if not stopped will kill and torture millions of more Christians, then eventually destroy the religion of Christianity. Christians need to end their silence and think of the fate of their families future generations. Especially since the Islamic population in our countries continues to grow. The persecution of Christianity has already started in the U.K. In just a two day period let us look at what has happened to Christians stuck under Islamic rule.

Somalia 7/28/08 A Christian convert was shot to death with a AK-47 by two Muslim men. The reason....all because he would not face Mecca when praying. When his wife heard the news of her husbands murder she went into premature labour and gave birth to a stillborn baby.(1) The Somali constitution discourages the promotion and propagation of any religion other than Islam.

Jakarta Indonesia 7/28/08 A Protestant school in Jakarta was stormed by a mob of Muslims injuring 265 students. Many with head injuries and others burnt by Molotov cocktails.(2)

Iran 7/29/08 16 Christian converts were arrested and some beaten. The crime was converting to Christianity.(3) Funny how Muslims always tell us that Islam is a religion of tolerance, but the actions of Muslims always show the opposite. A bill has gone to Parliament there calling for the death penalty of anyone who leaves Islam. Such freedom.....

Please forward this to at least one Christian who is not aware of the persecution of their Christian brothers and sisters.

Islam World Group Marches in Gaza for First Time

Here is why no country or state should give Muslims an inch of land. They just see it as a tiny piece of their puzzle. The puzzle being an Islamic world. While this group claims to be peaceful, it does not matter how they take over. Either though whining, politics or violence. Either way we lose. Now they will just push forward to take over more non-Muslim land.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip: Hizb ut-Tahrir supporters calling for a worldwide Islamic state have marched through Gaza for the first time.

About 3,000 demonstrators waved black flags and shouted slogans calling for a global Islamic government Thursday.

Hizb ut-Tahrir seeks to establish a caliphate that would govern the world according to Islamic law. The group was founded in Jordan in 1953 and is banned in several countries, including Russia, Germany and some Arab states.

The group says it uses nonviolent means but is seen as ideologically close to Jihadist groups.

The group's activities are outlawed in the West Bank. This week in the West Bank city of Hebron, 20 members were arrested.

Chinese Govt Setting Stage for Islamic Crackdown

If you ask me, China is the last place that the Islamos should think of starting trouble. But I guess they are not that smart. Five days ago Muslims bombed several buses in the Kunming region of China.(1) Apparently they did not learn their lesson from the past executions of Islamic separatists in 2000 and 2007 (2&3). Their beef is.......the usual, they want their own Islamic state within another state. The separatists are ethnic Uighurs who support a worldwide Caliphate. They reside in the far west province of Xinjiang. Now the Islamic separatists have threatened to attack the Olympics. They have even told Muslims that the use of biological weapons would be religiously justified(4), what would you expect from the religion of "peace"? I would have to say that would be a huge mistake for the entire Islamic community there. But they do not seem to care, maybe they want to go see Allah. The Chinese see the growing problem and are apparently setting the stage for a huge crackdown. They are spray painting walls with slogans like "Strike hard against the Islamic Liberation Party" and "The Islamic Liberation Party is a violent terrorist organisation".(5) They are letting the rest of the country know who the enemy is. I am not sure if the crackdown is going to happen before or after the Olympics, but it is coming.

Italy Declares State of Emergency over Illegal Immigration Invasion

We can all see that the Western world is being overrun by illegals from the 3rd world. But most of our countries leaders just do not have the guts to do anything about it. Except for one, our friends in Italy. Our countries are being financially drained by illegals, entire neighbourhoods being taken over and many of them are trying to impose an ideology on us that is completely opposite from life as we know it. Now the government of Italy which has bulldozed a Mosque site, closed a major Mosque, and deported dozens of Egyptians, has declared a state of emergency because of illegal immigration. Our countries are like a life raft to some coming from the 3rd world, but even life rafts sink if overcrowded.

Italy Declares State of Emergency over Illegal Immigration Invasion ⋅ July 26, 2008

Britain is not the only country which is being subjected to a Third World immigration invasion - almost every other Western European country is struggling under the same burden. Italy is however, unusual in one respect - it now actually has a government with enough guts to tackle the issue head-on.

Yesterday, the Italian government declared a “national state of emergency” over illegal immigration. A Cabinet statement said that the Government had to confront a “persistent and exceptional influx” of non-EU citizens and it had approved a proposal from Roberto Maroni, the Interior Minister, to declare a state of emergency “throughout the national territory”.

The state of emergency was earlier in effect only for the southern provinces of Sicily, Puglia and Calabria. Italy’s long shoreline and proximity to Africa make it a popular entry point into Europe for thousands of Africans who make hazardous journeys in flimsy boats each year.

Mario Morcone, a senior official at the Interior Ministry, said that the decision had been prompted by the continuing arrival of illegal immigrants in ramshackle boats run by people-smugglers at the tiny Italian island of Lampedusa, just off the North African coast. Many such boats capsize and their passengers drown.

Mr Morcone said that 9,342 immigrants had arrived between the start of the year and the end of June - double the figure for the previous year - and there were at present more than 1,000 at the overcrowded refugee camp in Lampedusa. Some are repatriated but many are sent to immigrant camps on the Italian mainland.

Silvio Berlusconi, the Prime Minister, won final parliamentary approval this week for a security package under which illegal immigrants convicted of crimes will face jail sentences a third longer than those for Italians.

Italy has also started a controversial census of Roma which involved the fingerprinting and photographing of all adults and children over 14 years old. Roma - sometimes referred to as gypsies - are often blamed in Italy for the rising crime rate across the country.

Minister Maroni said that fingerprinting Roma gypsy children would ensure that those parents who sent their children out to beg instead of school could be traced and punished.

Judge Tosses Savage's Suit Against Islamic Group

Teflon CAIR walks again.

Sat Jul 26, 6:09 AM ET

SAN FRANCISCO - A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage against an Islamic civil rights group over its use of a portion of his show in which he called the Quran a "book of hate."

Savage sued the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, for copyright infringement and racketeering lawsuit late last year, claiming the group violated his rights by using a segment of his "Savage Nation" show in a letter-writing campaign to get advertisers to boycott the program. In the broadcast used by CAIR, Savage also called the Muslim holy book "a throwback document."

In her ruling Friday, U.S. District Judge Susan Illston said people who listen to a public broadcast are entitled to use excerpts for purposes of comment and criticism. She also said no evidence was presented to show that advertising on the show's broadcast was affected by CAIR's actions.

The racketeering element of the lawsuit alleged that CAIR was not a civil rights group, but a political organization with ties to terrorist groups. CAIR denies those claims, saying it opposes terrorism and religious extremism.

In an interview with The Associated Press after he filed the lawsuit in December, Savage said he was referring to Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his violent brand of Islamic extremism in the broadcast, not about the religion in general.

Savage's attorney, Daniel Horowitz, told the San Francisco Chronicle he plans to file a new racketeering suit.

UK Awakening, Labour Party Loses Major Seat

It is refreshing to see that our British friends are waking up. They are slowly losing their culture and country because of the United Kingdoms open door immigration policy. Which results in mass immigration of a group of people who go there with no intention of assimilating or working. They just head there to suck up welfare, housing and try and impose Islam on the Brits. A lot of this has to do with the weak kneed Labour Party which constantly caters to Islam, no matter how it effects the rest of the people there. The Labour Party is clearly on their way out. Since they love Islam so much, I suggest they be forced to spend some time in the Middle East. Lets see how much they get catered to.
Cheer mates!!

Brown's Labour Defeated in Parliament Race in Glasgow (Update1)

By Gonzalo Vina

July 25 (Bloomberg) -- Gordon Brown's Labour Party lost a U.K. Parliament seat in Glasgow to the Scottish National Party, the third election blow for the prime minister in as many months.

The SNP won Glasgow East with 11,277 votes compared with Labour's 10,912. At the 2005 election, Labour had 18,775 votes, three times as many as the SNP. Only 24 out of the 348 seats Labour won had larger majorities.

Brown's government has been trailing the main opposition Conservative Party in the polls since October. On May 1 Labour suffered its worst defeat in 30 years in local elections, and on May 22 it lost the Midlands industrial seat of Crewe, which it had held since World War II.

``I don't think this means that much to Gordon Brown, because things are so bad for him anyway.'' Steven Fielding, director of the Centre for British Politics at Nottingham University, said in an interview. ``It adds momentum to the SNP, which means a prolonged period of difficulty for Labour in Scotland.''

The special election was caused by the resignation of sitting lawmaker David Marshall for health reasons. Conservatives hold no parliamentary seats in Scotland, leaving the SNP the main opposition party there. The SNP campaigned against Labour's stewardship of Glasgow East, one of the poorest districts in the country with a quarter of the population claiming long-term sickness benefits.

``The SNP victory is not just a political earthquake, it's off the Richter scale,'' the winning SNP candidate, John Mason said in his victory speech. Brown and Labour ``are out of touch. It's time for change.''

Following a brief honeymoon after Brown took over as prime minister in June 2007, Labour's popularity has declined across the country as economic growth slowed and rising food and fuel costs ate into the income of voters.

The economy's growth rate probably will slow to 1.5 percent in 2008 and 1.4 percent in 2009 and 1.9 percent in 2010, according to forecasts by the National Institute of Economics and Social Research published today. That would be the worst spell since the end of the last recession in 1991 and half the 3.1 percent pace of expansion recorded in 2007.

``Growth is expected to be relatively anaemic over the next three years,'' Niesr economist Simon Kirby wrote in a report published today. ``We see a modest slowdown rather than any recession.''

Glasgow East, stretching five miles from the Scottish city's center into neighborhoods where steel works and locomotive factories closed in the 1960s and 1970s, has some of the highest unemployment rates in the nation. Fewer than half the area's 90,000 people own their home compared with the Scottish average of two-thirds. It has western Europe's highest incidence of heart disease and liver cirrhosis.

The U.K.'s longest economic expansion in two centuries that coincided with Labour's control nationally since 1997 hasn't brought prosperity to this region. Polls nationwide suggest the Conservatives have picked up support. Brown has until the middle of 2010 to call the next election.

``The Labour Party has to listen and hear the message of the people of Glasgow East,'' Margaret Curran, the defeated Labour candidate said. Douglas Alexander, Secretary of State for International Development, told BBC News 24 that the result has been ``disappointing,'' although he dismissed the suggestion it would trigger a bid to oust Brown as leader.

``Now is not the time for instant solutions,'' he said.

In tonight's vote, there was a 22.54 percent swing toward the SNP, according to BBC News 24 television. A shift of this size replicated across Scotland would reduce the number of Labour lawmakers in Scotland to one from the present 72, according to John Curtice, professor of politics at Strathclyde University in Glasgow.

In recent contests, Labour has suffered ``serious consistent losses of votes of about 20 percent,'' Curtice told the BBC. ``The collectivity of evidence gives you an idea how deep Labour's problems are.''

Conservatives had the support of 47 percent of voters, 20 points ahead of Labour and 32 points more than the Liberal Democrats, according to an Ipsos Mori Ltd. survey conducted between July 18 and July 20.

Labour won 35.3 percent of the vote in the 2005 general election compared with 32.3 percent for the Conservatives. Labour currently controls 350 of the 646 seats in the House of Commons, giving it 64 more seats than opposition parties combined.

Jordan Expels Foreign Christians for 'Illegal' Preaching

Another one of our so called "allies" show us they are just like the rest of the Islamic world. Lets look at this long term. If nothing changes and other religions like Christianity and Judaism are not allowed to flourish in Islamic countries and Muslims are allowed to freely practice Islam in our countries while building an endless number of Mosques in our countries, it is just a matter of time until they dominate the world. Things need to change and the change will not come in Islamic countries, that is just a fantasy. Muslim immigration and Mosque construction must be put to an end, before it is too late.

By Ethan Cole
Christian Post Reporter
Thu, Feb. 21 2008

The Muslim-majority country of Jordan acknowledged Wednesday that it expelled foreign Christians for illegal preaching under what it claims was the guise of charity work.

The announcement is the first official acknowledgment that the government has clamped down on several foreign Christian preachers. Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said Christians had come to Jordan under the “pretext of charitable and voluntary activities, but they had violated the law by undertaking preaching activities and were expelled,” according to The Jerusalem Post.

Under Jordanian law, conversion from Islam to Christianity is not allowed in Muslim conservative Jordan and foreign missionary groups are banned from seeking converts, according to Agence France-Presse. But the government must sanction preaching and any religious activity, whether Christian or Muslim

In January, the Christian persecution watchdog group Compass Direct News reported that at least 27 expatriate Christian families and individuals were refused residence permits last year. The foreign Christians include Americans, Europeans, South Koreans, Egyptians, Sudanese and Iraqis.

But Jordan’s lower house of parliament countered on Thursday what it called “false reports” that the government was increasing crackdown on expatriate Christians.

In a statement, the lower house said “Christians in Jordan are an integral part of the society,” holding positions in parliament, the government and the armed forces and “living in peace and harmony with their Muslim brothers,” according to AFP.

Foreign Minister Judeh highlighted that the Council of Churches, the highest Christian body in Jordan, had “made it clear that Christians in Jordan lived in peace and security with their Muslim brethren and that the Jordanian constitution guaranteed the rights of all Jordanians regardless of their religion and sect,” according to The Earth Times.

The Council issued a statement last week denouncing some unspecified missionary groups that presented themselves as charitable organizations and refuting allegations that the government was cracking down on foreign Christians in the country.

"It is puzzling that certain small groups with a few hundred members and which are foreign to Christians in Jordan and to the history of Muslim-Christian relations, permit themselves to speak in the name of Christians and act as protectors of Christianity as if it were in danger," the Council said, according to The Earth Times.

Jordan is 92 percent Sunni Muslim, six percent Christian, and two percent other religions.

You get What you pay for.....

Well, that is of course unless you have a government like ours that are the suckers of the world. Aren't we paying countries like our so called "ally" Pakistan to fight what our government calls Islamic extremism? How much longer will we pump billions of dollars into the Islamic world, only to have them persecute non-Muslims? The Bush administration continually speaks of freedom of religion, but obviously that does not apply to Islamic countries. I am not religious, but about 80% of our country identifies themselves as Christians. When will our so called leaders find the courage to confront the Islamic community on their worldwide persecution of Christians? What needs to be said is, no freedom for Christians in Islamic countries, then no freedom for Muslims here. Here is what we are getting in return for our money. What a bargain....

Pakistan court says the forced conversion of two kidnapped girls is legal
22 Jul 2008
A Christian father in Pakistan is trying without success to gain custody through the courts of his two pre-teen daughters who were kidnapped and made to convert to Islam - writes Anto Akkara.

On 12 July 2008, a judge in Pakistan's Punjab province ignored pleas that Saba Younis, aged 12, and her 10 year old sister, Anila Younis, who went missing on 26 June from the small town of Chowk Munda, had been kidnapped while on their way to their uncle's residence and ruled that their conversion to Islam was legal.

The kidnappers, who had married the girls, had also filed for custody of the girls at a local police station on 28 June, asserting that the sisters had converted to Islam and their father no longer had jurisdiction over them.

"We are shocked by this court order," Anita Maria, a lawyer and a spokesperson for a Pakistani Christian group told Ecumenical News International recently. "Poor Christians in remote areas have to live with that." Maria said that in some cases young women who have been abducted are charged with adultery if they refuse to convert and marry their abductors.

The police had been unable to trace the girls, and members of the local Christian community were shocked when their abductors came forward to claim that the girls had converted to Islam and that they had married the girls.

The Muzaffargarh district court on 12 July said the disputed conversion of the girls was legal, and it was this ruling that left the local Christians stunned.

"We will move the [Lahore] high court to challenge this order," said Maria, who works as the programme coordinator for Pakistan's Centre for Legal Aid Assistance and Settlement.

The Pakistan Minorities Concern network said in a statement that Younis Masih, the father of the kidnapped girls, was threatened by the local police when he went to complain about the kidnapping of his daughters. The statement noted that the village has only a few Christian families living among 150 Muslim families, and said that police refused to support the Christian family. The network pointed out that in 2005, nearly 50 Hindu girls and 20 Christian girls were kidnapped and the majority had been forcibly converted to Islam.

"This is a travesty of justice. But unfortunately, this is the practice here," lamented Victor Azariah, general secretary of the National Council of Churches in Pakistan, which groups four Protestant churches. Azariah said, "The courts never help us."

Christians account for only about two percent of Pakistan's 168 million people, more than 90 percent of whom are Muslim.

NEWS ALERT: Pakistan Clerics Threaten To Kill Christian For Marrying Muslim; Christian Girls Kidnapped
Thursday, 17 July 2008
By BosNewsLife Correspondents Stefan J. Bos at BosNewsLife News Center and Jawad Mazhar reporting from Pakistan
Members of Pakistan's tiny Christian minority join Easter prayers at a church in Karachi. Via BBC News ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN (BosNewsLife)-- A Christian man was hiding Thursday, July 17, after Muslim clerics in Pakistan's Punjab province threatened to kill him for marrying a Muslim woman, while two Christian girls in the same region were forced to marry their Muslim kidnappers, rights investigators and local Christians said.

Asim Pasha, a Christian resident of the city of Attock, reportedly married Samina in 2004, despite objections from her parents. "Samina’s Muslim parents opposed the marriage due to Pasha’s Christian faith. That's why the couple fled the city and remained in hiding to protect themselves from Samina’s parents," said US-based rights group International Christian Concern (ICC) with Website www.persecution.org

The couple apparently returned to Attock in 2007 with a child and Pasha started a music business in his neighborhood. Soon after, local Muslim clerics reportedly claimed that Pasha had turned to Islam only to eventually force Samina to convert to Christianity.

They said he had "cheated a Muslim girl and made fun of Islam,” and therefore “must be hanged publicly," ICC reported.

CHARGES DENIED

Pasha has denied their charges. He has asked authorities to protect him and a human rights organization is providing him with a hiding place, ICC said. "Pasha is ready for exile along with his wife and child. He said he wants to live happily with his family without fear of disputes. This is not currently possible for him as the local police have refused to register a case against the clerics" or a news paper who made false allegations about him, ICC added.

News of Pasha's troubles, come as a Pakistani couple has appealed a court decision to award custody of their two daughters, 10 and 13, to the children’s alleged kidnappers. The court based its custody decision on the girls’ alleged conversion to Islam. Judge Main Naeem Sardar ruled Saturday, July 12, that Saba Masih, 13, and Aneela Masih, 10, had become Muslims, invalidating their Christian parents’ right to legal guardianship.

Under a common interpretation of Islamic law, a Christian cannot have custody of a Muslim. The sisters appeared in a Muzaffargarh District and Sessions court in the company of 16 Muslim men and were given five minutes to testify that their conversion was genuine, human rights activist Ashfaq Fateh told reporters.

FIRST TIME

It was the first time that Younis Masih and his wife had seen their daughters since they disappeared on June 26 while traveling to their uncle’s nearby home in Sarwar Shaheed, 150 miles (240 kilometers) southwest of Lahore, trial observers said.

The chairman of advocacy group Rays Of Development (ROD, Ferhan Mazher, told BosNewsLife that the reported kidnapping underscored the need of police and government officials to "take notice of the lamentable episode and rescue the girls from the hard line Islamic elements," who he claimed could eventually even “kill the Christian girls.”

Several politicians have made clear this week they hope that the new government's efforts to allocate five seats to minorities in Pakistan's Senate will help to out the difficulties of religious minorities, including Christians, on the political agenda in this mainly Muslim nation.

U.K.: Hezbollah Members not Welcome

Well, there is a shred of common sense left in the U.K. Now if they would only end all Muslim immigration. Hopefully this is a step in that direction for our British friends.

British parliament bans military wing of Hezbollah from UK for supporting militants

The British government will ban the military wing of Lebanese-based group Hezbollah from the country to punish it for supporting terrorist activities in Iraq and the Palestinian territories.

Lawmakers agreed Tuesday to make it a crime to join or support the military wing of the radical group.

Britain's minister in charge of fighting terrorism, Tony McNulty, says the movement is linked to insurgent groups in Iraq that have attacked coalition soldiers.

He says the organization's social and humanitarian wings would not be affected by the ban.

All political parties supported the ban, which passed through the House of Commons unopposed.

Islamic Preacher Calls for Full Sharia in the U.K.

Just a few months after the top judge in the U.K. said that Muslims should be allowed to live under some aspects of Sharia law , a Muslim preacher is calling for full Sharia law within the Kingdom. What people like Lord Chief Justice, Lord Phillips do not understand is that once even one aspect of Sharia is allowed, Pandora's Box has been opened. 40% of the Muslims in the U.K. want Sharia law , so why would they stop pushing for full Sharia once the door has been opened? Allowing any aspect of Sharia is just inviting trouble and when you give Islamos an inch, they will take foot......literally.

Cleric in ‘kill them’ hate rant

By SIMON HUGHES

Published: 14 Jul 2008

AN extremist Muslim preacher has called for death sentences and flogging in a rant at Britain’s best-known mosque.

Abu Zahra declared: “Male and female thief – amputate their hands. Those who kill – their life is not secure.” And he slammed unmarried sex, saying: “Lash them.”

His demand for Islamic-style punishments was revealed as the row continues over the Lord Chief Justice’s support for Sharia law.

Zahra belongs to hard-line Hizb Ut Tahrir, which once faced a ban.

At London’s Regent’s Park mosque he slated British democracy as criminal.

Tory MP Philip Davies said: “It’s unacceptable.”

Muslims, you Cannot Have it Both ways

We all see that people across the world are desperately clinging to the slim chance that "moderate" Islam will coming riding in on a white horse and end all the problems that the Islamic community is causing worldwide. But the truth is that "moderate" Islam has not come to the rescue for 1400 years. That is why we need to continue to speak up and force our governments to end Muslim immigration. Muslims cannot have it both ways, they get angry when we speak out against their religion and all the problems that it causes. Yet, they do nothing about it.

Lets put the violence in Islam aside and take something simple. Like the latest piggy bank ban. We see events like this happening more and more, as life as we know it is slowly being changed to suit Islam. What I want to know is, where are the Muslim groups speaking out against this ban? Muslims know that non-Muslims are sick of changing things to suit a religion they we do not belong to. So if they really wanted to be part of our countries and not just change it to suit them, why are the so silent?

Where are the Islamic protests, saying we are against the ban of piggy banks as non-Muslims do not find them offensive and many children love them as it is a tradition with children in non-Islamic countries? Where is the concern for our way of life? Here is a little friendly advice for Muslims. Either stop complaining about what offends you and showing no concern for what anyone else believes or wants, or do not complain as our voice against Islam gets louder. Like I said you cannot have it both ways.

Yemen: Christian Arrests may Herald new era of Persecution

Here is another one of our Islamic "allies". Muslims can persecute Christians and Jews across the Islamic world and we are not supposed to say a word about it. Because the most important thing in the world as we all know, is not to offend the poor Muslims. Our fearless leader Mr. Bush keeps talking about freedom and freedom of religion. How come it does not apply to his Islamic buddies?

Yemen: Christian arrests may herald new era of persecution.

By Elizabeth Kendal
World Evangelical Alliance Religious Liberty Commission (WEA RLC)
Special to ASSIST News Service
AUSTRALIA (ANS) -- On 18 June Yemeni news source Al Sahwa reported that Yemeni political security forces in Hodiada province had arrested a "missionary cell" of seven people and charged them with promoting Christianity and distributing the Bible. One of those arrested, Hadni Dohni, stands accused of converting to Christianity.

According to Sahwa Net, ". . . the suspects were transferred to Sana'a in order to investigate them to know who support them." (Link 1)

BosNewsLife subsequently reported on 2 July that according to International Christian Concern (http://www.persecution.org) the Yemeni Christians were still in detention and at risk of mistreatment and torture at the hands of Yemeni authorities. (Link 2)

Hodaida is Yemen's third largest city. It is the capital of Hodaida Province which is located on Yemen's western Red Sea coast and home to more than two million Yemenis. (See map at link 3)

ARRESTS MAY HERALD NEW ERA OF PERSECUTION

These arrests may well herald an era of more intense and systematic persecution. They came hot on the heels of an Islamist media campaign (foreign, terrorist, and local) that claims Islam in Yemen is under threat due to Christian missionary activities; and at a time when the hugely unpopular, corrupt, abusive, dictatorial regime of President Ali Abdullah Saleh is struggling to hold the state together.

MEDIA CAMPAIGN: IN FEAR OF MISSIONARIES AND APOSTATES

On 11 October 2007, Catholic World News reported: "The Palestinian newspaper al-Quds al-Arabi is reporting 2,000 conversions from Islam to Christianity in Yemen.

"Many of the converts are reportedly living abroad in fear for their lives. Yemen adheres to Shari'a law, which forbids conversions from Islam on pain of death.

"The World Muslim League has appealed to Yemen's government to stem the tide of conversions, placing the blame on schools administered by foreigners." (Link 4)

On 13 January 2008, Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) reported: "On January 13, 2008, Islamist websites posted the first issue of Sada Al-Malahim [Echo of Wars], the e-journal of Al-Qaeda in Yemen. According to its editor, the journal was established in response to a call by Ayman Al-Zawahiri, who urged '[those] who are engaged in Islamic media jihad to strengthen their resolve . . . in the face of the fiercest Crusader attack that the Islamic nation [has ever known]." (Link 5)

Then on 18 February 2008, the Yemen Post reported: "Yemeni Researcher Dr Abdul Qawi Al-Tab'ee warned of the growing organised Christian movement in Yemen, hinting the missionary work of foreign agencies focus on young youth to build its movement and spread Christianity in Yemen.

"This news comes in shock to a country known to be free from Christians as only very few Christian Yemenis exist in Aden, which officials say that they are not of Yemeni root.

"Meanwhile, the Islamic World League in its report warned of growing missionary work in Yemen and indicated that the missionary agencies have managed so far to turn over 120 Yemenis in Hadramout into Christianity. It also hinted these agencies are also active in Eritrean and Somali refugees' camps located in southern part of Yemen.

"The league attributed the success of Christianity campaign in Yemen to the absence of attention by Muslims . . ." (Link 6)

It is difficult to see how the above article, written by Yemen Post staff writer Hakim Almasmari, could fail to cause anxiety and outrage amongst Yemeni Muslims.

Almasmari asserts that Christians use international organisations -- especially those involved in education, health or humanitarian relief and development -- as fronts for their missionary work. He specifically mentions the Jibla Baptist hospital without condemning the 30 December 2002 terrorist attack which claimed the lives of Dr Martha Myers (57), hospital administrator William Koehn (60) and supply purchaser Kathleen Gariety (53), as well as critically wounding pharmacist Donald Caswell. He also fails to mention the great outpouring of grief in Jibla that followed the slaying of the three Christians who, having spent 62 years in Yemen between them, had brought health, hope, joy and friendship to multitudes. As distraught mourner Malka al-Hadhrami told Salah Nasrawi of the Associated Press, "All Jibla weeps for them." The terrorist, Abed Abdel Razzak Kamel (35), a member of a group called Islamic Jihad, confessed to having shot the Americans "because they were preaching Christianity in a Muslim country". (See Link 7)

Almasmari adds that while Christian missionary work is strictly forbidden "books and literature about the Christian faith have been widely noticed to be distributed in the Old City of Sana'a".

HOLDING THE STATE TOGETHER: A DEAL WITH AL-QAEDA
AND/OR A FEAR TO BE EXPLOITED FOR POLITICAL GAIN

The 1990 creation of the unified state of Yemen brought together North Yemen which was 66 percent Shi'ite and had traditionally (until a 1962 military coup) been ruled by a Shi'ite Imamate, and South Yemen which was 99 percent Sunni, Marxist and until 1990 was sponsored by the Soviet Union. The already aggrieved religiously conservative Shi'ites then became a 30 percent minority in a Sunni dominated socialist ("apostate") republic. North Yemen's President, Ali Abdullah Saleh, an Arab Socialist revolutionary and nominal Shia, was elected as the president of the unified Republic of Yemen.

It is difficult to imagine a more potentially fraught marriage. Indeed, not long after the honeymoon ended, civil war erupted.

As a secular socialist, Saleh was no admirer of religious fundamentalists -- unless of course they could be exploited and employed to his advantage.

During the 1994 civil war, Saleh, who had to fight against disaffected southerners to keep his country unified, employed tens of thousands of "Afghan" Arabs (Sunni fundamentalist Arab veterans of the 1980s Afghan jihad) in a "jihad" against the "infidel" southern separatists. The government-jihadi alliance crushed the southern separatists, and the previously more open and liberal Aden (capital of the south) was left helpless before an incoming tide of Islamisation. This of course has only caused the disaffection and grief of the more liberal and secular southerners to intensify.

The 1994 civil war marked the beginning Saleh's pragmatic alliance with Sunni fundamentalists and militants, including al-Qaeda. It is an alliance that mirrors the alliance between al-Saud and al-Wahhab: a pragmatic alliance built on quid pro quo deals. Saleh does not interfere with al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda preserves Saleh's socialist dictatorship, at least for as long as it is convenient. Al-Qaeda-perpetrated terror under this arrangement is Government-controlled but it gives Saleh grounds to cry out to the West for funding for his war against terror. However Saleh's relationship with the US in the War on Terror (even if it was/is a confidence trick) gave the Shi'ite rebels of the north grounds to accuse him of being pro-American, the ultimate sin.

When the Shi'ite rebellion erupted in 2004, President Saleh employed his Sunni fundamentalist militants and al-Qaeda puppets alongside his army in his war against the al-Houthi Shi'ite rebels.

Thus Saleh is fighting Shi'ite rebels in the north and liberal pro-democracy and separatist forces in the south, by feeding and partnering with Shi'ite-hating, democracy-hating, liberty-hating, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, anti-infidel, anti-apostate, Wahhabi Sunni fundamentalist militants including al-Qaeda.

This has not resulted in the defeat of the al-Houthi Shi'ite rebellion (which has cost thousands of lives) or the repression of dissent in south. The result has been escalating radicalisation, terrorism, disaffection, rioting and a dangerous broadening of the sectarian conflict as the warring Islamic sects receive support from their co-religionists abroad. Yemen is now in the grip of a Sunni v Shi'ite sectarian conflict which most analysts believe is fast becoming a proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

In such an explosive environment it is common for Muslim leaders to try and generate popularity and Islamic solidarity by deflecting hostilities onto a common "enemy": Jews, "Zionists", "Crusaders", Christians, missionaries, apostates. The Jews come first and then the Christians -- as the Muslim war chant goes, "Baad a- Sabt biji Yom al-Ahad": "After Saturday comes Sunday", meaning after we deal with the Saturday people -- the Jews -- we'll deal with the Sunday people -- the Christians.

The Jews have already been dealt with. As reported by WEA RLC News & Analysis in January 2007: "On 10 January [2007] the 45 Jews of al Haid, Sa'ada (north Yemen) received letters from a Shi'ite rebel militia. The letters accused them of promoting vice and demanded that they leave the province. According to the Yemen Observer, the 45 Jews have been forced to flee their homes in fear of their lives." (Link 8)

As fighting flared again in April 2008, the Shi'ite rebels finished the job by destroying the homes abandoned by the al Haid Jews some 15 months earlier. They also looted the former home of Rabbi Yehia Youssuf. Israel absorbed some 50,000 Yemeni Jews who were forced to flee Yemen in the immediate aftermath of the creation of the state of Israel. Some 1,600 Jews left Yemen in the 1990s, leaving a remnant of only around 400 Jews in Yemen today. (Link 9)

Maybe "Sunday" has arrived.

Insecurity, terrorism, separatism, rioting and sectarian conflict are not President Saleh's only problems. He is an unpopular dictator who after 27 years in power still imprisons his critics and rules over a state with high levels of illiteracy, unemployment, poverty and malnutrition.

So Islamic fundamentalists will not be the only ones to benefit from a state-sponsored crackdown on Christian missionary activity and apostasy. The Islamic media, with its anti-Christian propaganda and disinformation, has no doubt made persecution of Christians a real vote-winner. Protecting Islam by arresting missionaries and apostates is one way the embattled Saleh-the-secular-socialist can bolster his Islamic credentials -- important in a Muslim state undergoing radicalisation -- and generate some popularity. Saleh releases convicted Islamic terrorists from prison for similar reasons: not only to keep al-Qaeda happy, but to bolster his anti-US credentials for political gain. While the state's prisons maintain a revolving door for Islamic terrorists, they remain full due to a continual intake of journalists, comedians, singers, dissidents, pro-democracy activists, justice advocates -- and now Christians.

If the arrests are part of a deal with Islamic fundamentalists and/or a grab for grassroots popularity and Islamic solidarity, then we have grounds to expect more arrests and an escalation in very public persecution.

. . . and when President Saleh saw how much it pleased the Muslims, he proceeded to arrest more Christians . . . (Adaptation of Acts 12:3)

France Rejects Radical Burqa Wearing Muslim

It appears that Europe is waking up more and more. I have been saying for years that the burqa is a sign of oppression and should not be allowed in non-Islamic countries. More actions like this will make Muslims not even want to come into our countries. Viva la France!!

France rejects Muslim woman over radical practice of Islam

France has denied citizenship to a Moroccan woman who wears a burqa on the grounds that her "radical" practice of Islam is incompatible with basic French values such as equality of the sexes.

The case yesterday reopened the debate about Islam in France, and how the secular republic reconciles itself with the freedom of religion guaranteed by the French constitution.

The woman, known as Faiza M, is 32, married to a French national and lives east of Paris. She has lived in France since 2000, speaks good French and has three children born in France. Social services reports said she lived in "total submission" to her husband. Her application for French nationality was rejected in 2005 on the grounds of "insufficient assimilation" into France. She appealed, invoking the French constitutional right to religious freedom and saying that she had never sought to challenge the fundamental values of France. But last month the Council of State, France's highest administrative body, upheld the ruling.

"She has adopted a radical practice of her religion, incompatible with essential values of the French community, particularly the principle of equality of the sexes," it said.

"Is the burqa incompatible with French citizenship?" asked Le Monde, which broke the story. The paper said it was the first time the level of a person's personal religious practice had been used to rule on their capacity be to assimilated into France.

The legal expert who reported to the Council of State said the woman's interviews with social services revealed that "she lives almost as a recluse, isolated from French society".

The report said: "She has no idea about the secular state or the right to vote. She lives in total submission to her male relatives. She seems to find this normal and the idea of challenging it has never crossed her mind."

The woman had said she was not veiled when she lived in Morocco and had worn the burqa since arriving in France at the request of her husband. She said she wore it more from habit than conviction.

Daniele Lochak, a law professor not involved in the case, said it was bizarre to consider that excessive submission to men was a reason not to grant citizenship. "If you follow that to its logical conclusion, it means that women whose partners beat them are also not worthy of being French," he told Le Monde.

Jean-Pierre Dubois, head of France's Human Rights League, said he was "vigilant" and was seeking more information.

France is home to nearly 5 million Muslims, roughly half of whom are French citizens. Criteria taken into account for granting French citizenship includes "assimilation", which normally focuses on how well the candidate speaks French. In the past nationality was denied to Muslims who were known to have links with extremists or who had publicly advocated radicalism, but that was not the case of Faiza M.

The ruling comes weeks after a controversy prompted by a court annulment of the marriage of two Muslims because the husband said the wife was not a virgin as she had claimed to be.

France's ban on headscarves and other religious symbols in state schools in 2004 sparked a heated debate over freedom and equality within the secular republic. The French government adheres to the theory that all French citizens are equal before the republic, and religion or ethnic background are matters for the private sphere. In practice, rights groups say, society is plagued by discrimination.

The president, Nicolas Sarkozy, has stressed the importance of "integration" into French life. Part of his heightened controls on immigrants is a new law to make foreigners who want to join their families sit an exam on French language and values before leaving their countries.

Out of the Closet

I would like to inform the readers that I now will be using my real name Christopher Logan instead of Exposing Islam. When I first started researching and speaking about the problems that Islam brings to the world, I used Exposing Islam just as an Internet nickname.
Most of you know, but not all, that I was an administrator and moderator at Jihad Chat since the board was opened. I recently stepped down to spend more time on my blog. The blog has really started to take off and I am looking to target an even wider audience. So I believe that using my name instead of a nickname will make that easier. I will also be upgrading to www.ChristopherLogan.org, in the near future.
Thank you all for your support and everyone one of you should pat yourselves on the back, for doing the job that our government will not do, expose Islam.

Italy: Mosques must recognize Israel

Italy continues to show the Islamic community who the boss is, them cracking down on Islam is becoming a weekly event. Makes me proud to be an Italian.

Italy: Mosques must recognize Israel
Thu, 10 Jul 2008 23:06:16

Italy may take its discriminatory practices to a new level, calling for measures to make mosque leaders quit unless they recognize Israel.

Action must be taken so that mosque supervisors recognize Israel, said European Affairs Minister Andrea Rochi.

We must force those who do not recognize Israel to leave the mosques, he added, according to Italian news agency Il Tempo.

Criticism has been leveled at Italy as it has failed to end fingerprinting gypsies as part of a census program, despite a European Parliament (EP) recommendation to stop.

Many Muslims around the world do not recognize Israel, saying the United Nations had no right to allow the establishment of a state in a land that has long belonged to the Palestinians.

The Islamic Republic of Iraq Part 1

When I report this news, I do not mean any offense to the coalition troops fighting in Iraq. They are the greatest fighting force on the planet, but there is only so much that they can do. I caught the beginning of Bill O'Reilly tonight, the talking points segment. He said that Islamofascism in Iraq has almost been defeated. This is just not true. While attacks on our troops might be down, which is great. There are other disturbing aspects of Islam or Islamofascism as O'Reilly called it, taking place.

First off, there is the plight of the Christian community. Which has gone from a prewar estimate of approximately 1.3 million to about 700,000 now.(1) Many have fled the country and hundreds have been killed. Churches have been destroyed or abandoned out of fear.(2) These events are common across the Islamic world. Where Christians live as dhimmis(3) and have to hide who they are for their own safety. But the Muslims in Iraq have taken it one step further.

They have turned the clock back to the days of Mohammad. They are forcing the Christians that remain in Iraq to pay jizya.(1) Muslims call it protection money. But protection from who? It is extortion plain and simple, mafia style. Mohammad and his merry men forced this on Christians and Jews in return for not killing them. So many Christians were paying the jizya in Iraq, that it became a funding source for the insurgency. Some families used their entire life savings to make the payoffs. The payments have been said to have slowed down, as U.S. forces stepped in. But will that last when we finally leave?

Stay tuned for part 2.

Milan Mosque to be Closed Down

The good news from Italy never ends. Look at the difference with a conservative group in charge, like in Italy versus a liberal one like the Labour Party in the U.K. Who constantly bends over backwards for Muslims. Ask yourself, who will win this war for us?

Milan mosque to be closed down

A controversial mosque in the Italian city of Milan is to be shut down, the country's right-wing government says.

The Jenner mosque attracts about 4,000 Muslims each week, with Friday prayers often spilling out on to the street.

Now, after years of complaints from local residents, Italian Interior Minister Roberto Maroni has said he will close the mosque by August.

A leading Roman Catholic has accused Mr Maroni of behaving like a fascist. He has rejected that charge.

Rendition

The Jenner mosque is based in a converted garage.

Since it opened as an Islamic cultural centre in 1988, it has outgrown its cramped surroundings - much to the alarm of people living in the neighbourhood, says the BBC's Christian Fraser in Rome.

It has come under the spotlight several times for alleged links to extremism.

The Muslim cleric, Abu Omar, who was known for his fiery preaching, says he was kidnapped on his way to the mosque in 2003.

He claims he was then transferred to Egypt, where he was tortured.

Twenty-six suspected CIA agents and several Italian intelligence officials are currently on trial in Milan over his alleged rendition.

Most of them are being tried in absentia.

'Nomads'

Mr Maroni, who belongs to the anti-immigrant Northern League, has said he will press ahead with plans to close the mosque, and that anybody found praying in the street will be issued with a ticket.

The local Muslim community is being offered the use of a nearby stadium, in which the Beatles once played.

However, the council has said it can only be used four times each week and that each person will be charged on entry.

The president of the mosque, Abdel Hamid Shaari, has said he is happy to pay rent but that its members "won't be treated like nomads".

"We are Milanese and we are not going to accept the solution that's being offered," he said.

Catholic support

The Catholic church has come out in support of the Muslim community.

The Roman Catholic priest in charge of inter-faith relations in Milan, Monsignor Gianfranco Bottoni, said that only a fascist or populist government would resort to such dictatorial methods as closing a mosque.

In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Mr Maroni said he was addressing residents' complaints that worship regularly spilled out on to the street.

He said he had faced similar criticism from the UN children's fund (Unicef), when the Italian government announced that it was fingerprinting all Roma people of gypsies.

However, he had convinced Unicef that the move would help get Roma children into mainstream schools, he said.

Italy Gives 38 Egyptians the Boot

They say that Italy looks like a boot on a map. Well, the country has taken it literally and given the boot to 38 Egyptians. This just about a month after bulldozing a Mosque site. The Berlusconi government might just be the biggest foe of Islam in Europe. Hopefully others will follow.

Italy expels 38 Egyptians in immigration crackdown

June 28, 2008

ROME (Reuters) - Italy said on Saturday it had expelled 38 Egyptians as part of a crackdown ordered by Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's government on illegal immigration.

In a statement, Interior Minister Roberto Maroni, of the anti-immigrant Northern League party, said he was pleased at the expulsion of the Egyptian immigrants, who were flown to Cairo aboard a chartered plane.

Maroni also defended his plans to fingerprint Roma children. Roma people, known in Italy as "nomads", are blamed for much of the crime in Italian cities.

"We don't know who lives in legal (nomadic) camps let alone the illegal ones. We don't know the nationalities of the residents so we have to do a census," Maroni told the newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Berlusconi took office in May pledging tough measures to stem illegal immigration, including legislation to make the act of crossing into Italy illegally itself an offence punishable by imprisonment.

Some immigrants seeking residency in Italy are fingerprinted already, but not usually children or European Union citizens.

The Catholic charity Fondazione Migrantes, which is linked to the Italian bishops' conference, questioned why Roma people were being singled out.

"It incomprehensible why fingerprints are being taken solely from minors from this tiny ethnic minority," it was quoted as saying by Italian news agencies.

"All of this will not reduce fear and give peace to our people, but set the stage for unearthing a type of xenophobia, or worse, of racial discrimination."

Health Benefits Denied

I know this is off topic for me, but this seems to be a growing problem. People invest their whole lives, put their trust into a company and then when they turn around and ask for what was promised to them. They get the back of a hand. It is just not right. I am not for universal health care. As I do not want the government running anything else, as they can barely tie their shoes and I also do not want to pay other peoples bills. But something has to be done about this. What was the point of these poor people paying for benefits?

Employers use federal law to deny benefits
Saturday July 5, 11:31 pm ET
By Mark Sherman, Associated Press Writer
Workers -- and some judges -- frustrated in legal fights over benefits with large employers

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Dying of cancer, Thomas Amschwand did everything he was told to make sure his wife would collect on the life insurance policy he had through his employer.
"He was obsessed with dotting every `i' and crossing every `t'," Melissa Amschwand-Bellinger recalled about her husband, who died in 2001 at age 30.

But Spherion Corp., the temporary staffing company where Amschwand worked, told Amschwand-Bellinger she would not receive any of the $426,000 in benefits she believed she was due. When she went to court, Spherion succeeded in getting her lawsuit thrown out. The Supreme Court on June 27 refused to review the case.

Amschwand-Bellinger received a refund of the few thousand dollars in insurance premiums she and her husband dutifully had paid. The total, she said, would not cover the costs of his funeral.

The story has played out often under the federal Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Designed to protect employee benefits, the law has been used by employers as a shield against suits.

Federal appeals courts, interpreting Supreme Court decisions dating to 1993, consistently have said companies that offer health, life and retirement benefits under ERISA cannot be sued for large amounts of money, or damages. Instead, they can be sued only for typically smaller sums such as Amschwand's insurance premiums.

Several federal judges have bemoaned the unfairness even as they have felt constrained to rule in favor of employers.

"The facts ... scream out for a remedy beyond the simple return of premiums," Judge Fortunato Benavides of the New Orleans-based 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said in the Amschwand case. "Regrettably, under existing law it is not available."

Terrorist Profiling Could Include Religion

But...but....President Bush said Islam is a religion of peace. Is this just a coincidence that Bush will be out of office soon, and now people are speaking the truth?

The Justice Department is considering letting the FBI investigate Americans without evidence of wrongdoing, relying on a terrorist profile that could single out Muslims, Arabs or other racial and ethnic groups, the Associated Press reported.

The proposed policy would help root out terrorists before they strike, officials with the FBI and Justice Department told the AP. More than a half-dozen officials spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because they were not allowed to speak publicly or because the change is not final. President Bush has disavowed targeting suspects based on race or ethnicity, but the new rules would allow the FBI to consider those factors among other traits.

Doctors and Dogs

Here are three separate stories of imposing Muslims. Involving life saving dogs and life saving doctors. But none of that is of any concern to the Islamos of Europe. In Tayside Scotland, Muslims are having another hissy fit. All because a picture of a police department puppy is on postcards handed out by the police department. The cards were handed out to let the people know of a new non-emergency phone number. Some shop keepers will not display the cards, not wanting to offend Muslims and the Dundee City Councilor is conducting an investigation. His name happens to be Mohammed Asif. I wonder what side he will take. This is another reason Muslims do not belong in our politics. The police department has actually apologized for this.

On to the doctors, still taking place in Scotland. The National Health Service for Scotland, has advised nurses and doctors not to eat in front of Muslim patients and colleagues during the month of Ramadan. They have also been told to keep food trolleys out of the site of Muslims. Why, will the Muslims riot? A spokesperson for the NHS said this was done to show consideration for the Muslims. When do Muslims show consideration for the beliefs of non-Muslims? Just curious.

Back to the dogs. In the overly politically correct U.K., police dogs at railway stations may no longer come into contact with Muslim passengers. After complaints from some followers of Islam. So, their religion is more important to U.K. police, then stopping suicide bombers that stem from their religion. OK, that makes sense....the U.K., who I am rooting for 100% is getting dumber by the day.
