Muslim Pres.of Interfaith Group Goes on a Tirade Over Rifqa Bary

Today as I was searching the Internet for articles about Islam I came across one about Rifqa Bary, the 17 year-old girl from Ohio who has stated that her own father wants to kill her for leaving Islam. The article was also about how Muslim activists were basically silent on this and other issues similar to it.

Then as I scrolled down to leave a comment, I noticed one from a poster using the name "moinansari". He want on rant in which he showed absolutely no concern for the poor girl and only bashed the Christians who helped her and the article's author. Using the usual Muslim talking points of "bigotry" and racism". The funny part of it is, that at the bottom of his comment he stated that he is the President of the American Joint Multifaith Association. While his title states that he is the president of the association, his site is just an all out attack on the critics of Islam. His comments here show us his true colors.

A "Church" kidnapping a minor Muslim girl and then brainwashing her into a Christian cult is Unamerican and has to be condemned. Trying to justify this new crusade is a deplorable act.

I will not take up space on mentioning quotes from the Bible, Torah and Gita which discuss other religions. This nonsense against Muslims is a way to spread bigotry and racism in our great land.

The author's unmitigated bigoted drivel is biased, it has serious errors in it and is typical of the anti-Muslim tripe so pervasive in some racist quarters these days.

It is very disappointing to see this esteemed publication chose to reproduce such a rambling crypto-racist screed.

The author's Teutonic bloviations are an admixture of discredited Neocon assertions, unsubstantiated, or outright Indian distortion, and pure unadulterated balderdash. His nauseating fixation upon and paranoid conspiratorial delusions about Islam are a transparent attempt to justify the murderous rampage, carnage and barbarism faced by West Asia. The twaddle fails to illuminate the confusing deluge of eerily inept and counter-intuitive claptrap masquerading as fact in the clumsily stage-managed "global war on terror" environment.

Stop this bigotry. Build bridges of harmony.

President American Joint Multifaith Assiciation

As you noticed he just attacks and never addresses the issue of apostasy and Islam. After reading this nasty rant are we really supposed to believe this statement from his site's about page?

The President of AJMA is Mr. Moin Ansari a patriotic American citizen. A Muslim-American of Pakistani origins, Mr. Moin Ansari has been working for more than a decade building bridges of harmony among various faiths.

I have continually said that interfaith talks with Muslims have not accomplished anything as the problem has now spread across the West, including America. That Muslims use the talks to provide a smokescreen for Islam.

Thank you for proving my point Mr. Ansari, I appreciate the help.

UK:Islamic Prayer Rooms Should be Opened in Catholic Schools

First Church leaders from Britain and Scotland foolishly backed the UK Sharia Courts. Now the Church wants Islamic prayer rooms and foot washing basins built in all Catholic schools. This has all been approved by the Archbishop of Birmingham Vincent Nichols who is the likely successor to Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor. This position would make Nichols the leader of the country's over 4 million Catholics.

Muslim are supposed to wash before praying. This practice is called wudu. It involves washing the hands, face, arms and feet three times. Gargling and the washing of their necks, ears and nose. Some even wash their private parts. My question is, are they actually being allowed to perform Islamic prayers in Catholic schools? A Church leader has said that this is all part of their commitment to interfaith dialogue. When it comes to interfaith dialogue, what have Muslims done to reciprocate these actions by Christians?

While Pope Benedict XVI will continue to show the world that he tried by having more interfaith talks, it appears that he knows that nothing will result from them. He sees that these conferences are full of empty talk by Muslims, as nothing actually gets any better for the Christians and Jews living in Islamic countries.

ROME — In comments that could have broad implications in a period of intense inter-religious conflict, Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday cast doubt on the possibility of interfaith dialogue but called for more discussion of the practical consequences of religious differences.

The pope’s comments were from a letter he wrote to Marcello Pera, an Italian center-right politician and scholar whose forthcoming book, “Why We Must Call Ourselves Christian,” argues that Europe should stay true to its liberal, Christian roots. A central theme of Benedict’s papacy has been to focus attention on the Christian roots of an increasingly secular Europe.

In comments from the letter that appeared on Sunday in Corriere della Sera, Italy’s leading daily, the pope said the book “explained with great clarity” that “an inter-religious dialogue in the strict sense of the word is not possible.” In theological terms, he added, “a true dialogue is not possible without putting one’s faith in parentheses.”

But Benedict added that “intercultural dialogue which deepens the cultural consequences of basic religious ideas” was important. He called for confronting “in a public forum the cultural consequences of basic religious decisions.”

The Vatican spokesman, Rev. Federico Lombardi, said the pope’s comments seemed intended to draw interest for Mr. Pera’s book, not to cast doubt on the Vatican’s many continuing inter-religious dialogues.

“He has a papacy known for religious dialogue, he went to a mosque, he’s been to synagogues,” Rev. Lombardi said. “This means that he thinks we can meet and talk to the others and have a positive relationship.”

Instead, the pope’s remarks seemed aimed at pushing some more theoretical inter-religious conversations into the practical realm.

“He’s trying to get the Catholic-Islamic dialogue out of the clouds of theory and down to brass tacks: how can we know the truth about how we ought to live together justly, despite basic credal differences?” said George Weigel, a Catholic scholar and biographer of Pope John Paul II.

This month, the Vatican hosted a conference with Muslim religious leaders and scholars aimed at improving ties that had been strained in 2006, when some Muslims were offended when the pope quoted a Byzantine emperor criticizing the Prophet Muhammad.

The conference participants agreed to condemn terrorism and protect religious freedom, but they did not address issues of conversion and of the rights of Christians to worship in majority Muslim countries.

The Church is also engaged in dialogue with Muslims organized by the King of Saudi Arabia, a country where non-Muslims are forbidden from worshipping in public.
