The answer to this question is unequivocally no!
1.When do Muslims reciprocate?
2.Under Islam, Jesus is supposed to come back and destroy the cross. How can any Christian show respect to a religion that says that?

UK:Home Office Staff Told not to eat Near Muslims for Ramadan

In a continuing attempt from Muslims and their leftist partners to destroy the UK, Home Office employees were told not to be seen eating near their Muslim co-workers for the entire month of Ramadan.

For those who do not know, the Home Office is the lead government department for immigration and passports, drugs policy, counter-terrorism and police. What a message they are sending out....

Home Office staff were officially warned not to eat in front of their fasting Muslim colleagues during Ramadan – in case it made them feel hungry.

The advice came in a taxpayer-funded internal document listing do’s and don’ts during the Muslim holy month, which ends this weekend.

But the guide is now at the centre of a row with Islamic groups who said it was more likely to incite hatred of Muslims than promote understanding.

The Home Office Islamic Network produced the five-page information sheet which says: ‘In practical terms, please be sensitive when eating lunch near a Muslim colleague who is fasting.

This can make an individual feel hungrier and make it more challenging to observe the fast.’

During the holy month devout Muslims do not drink or eat from dawn until sunset and, according to the document, must avoid ‘all obscene and irreligious sights and sounds’.

It also urged Home Office managers to be flexible over working arrangements.

It says: ‘The most likely need Muslim staff may present to managers during this period is for flexibility around working hours and break times as those fasting will have a slightly different routine from usual. Managers and Muslim staff should discuss what their needs are and be responsive and sensitive.’

Managers were also told: ‘Muslim staff who are fasting and whose environment allows it may wish to set out for work earlier than usual and finish their working day correspondingly early...in line with flexi-time arrangements.’

Last night a Home Office spokeswoman confirmed the document had been distributed to its staff and posted on the department’s internal intranet system.

She said: ‘It is not formal departmental guidance and was written by volunteers.’
The spokeswoman added that the Islamic Network was one of a number of staff faith and equality groups within the Home Office and was paid for by the taxpayer.

My Email to Pastor Brian McLaren~who is Celebrating Ramadan

This morning I posted an article about Pastor Brian McLaren, who has disgraced Christianity by celebrating Islam and fasting for the month of Ramadan. A couple of weeks ago, I had read about this and I wrote him this email.

Mr. McLaren,

I was reading your article, and Eboo Patel's article, about the two of you being fasting partners. If you would bother to read the comments in Patel's articles you would know that he is known liar and an Islamic propagandist.

All you are doing is hurting your fellow Christians be spreading false hope, as facts show us that the problems with Islam are getting worse across the world. Why don't you please point out the "moderate" Islamic movement that is speaking out against the persecution of Christians across the Islamic world ? If Christians do not unite and take a stand against Islam, Christianity will eventually be destroyed.

Did your "friend" Patel supply you with this information?

"What Islam Really Says About Jesus and his Return".

I ask you to please be honest with yourself and admit that interfaith talks with Muslims have not changed a thing. This can be seen across the world.

I am very thankful that the voices of Christians against Islam are on the rise. Unfortunately there are also Christians who are disrespecting Christianity, by fasting for Ramadan. "Christians" like this who live in fantasy land and ignore the plight of Christians in Islamic countries are part of the problem.

Like Muslims worldwide, Ben Ries has refrained from food and drink from sunrise to sundown in an act of self-restraint during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which ends this weekend.

Each evening, the 31-year-old Ries joins Muslim families in a room above a hardware store in Bellingham, Wash., to find fellowship and break the fast with a handful of dates and a welcome glass of water.

Only Ries is not a Muslim. He is pastor of 70-member Sterling Drive Church of Christ and a self-described committed Christian who just a few weeks ago had to turn to Google to find a Muslim in his community.

Ries is among a small group of Christians who've joined well-known evangelical author and speaker Brian McLaren in observing a Ramadan fast, opening a new chapter in interfaith relations between two traditions often at odds.

To McLaren and his Christian and Muslim fasting partners, it's a neighborly gesture of solidarity that deepens their respective faiths and sends a message about finding peace and common ground.

But the project also has faced fierce criticism.Some evangelicals say that fasting alongside Muslims at Ramadan, however well-intentioned, is a dangerous blurring of the lines and runs contrary to Christianity.

McLaren, 53, is the godfather of the "emerging" or "emergent" church, a loose-knit movement that seeks to recover ancient Christian worship practices and, in some cases, question traditional evangelical theology.

While fasting is part of Christian tradition, it isn't exactly a widespread practice. Some college students from different faiths have started interfaith "Fast-A-Thons" during Ramadan to raise money to fight poverty. But that usually involves fasting for a day, not committing to an entire month.

In announcing his Ramadan fast plans on his blog last month, McLaren wrote, "We are not doing so in order to become Muslims: we are deeply committed Christians. But as Christians, we want to come close to our Muslim neighbors and to share this important part of life with them." The goal is to join Muslims in the observance as "a God-honoring expression of peace, fellowship and neighborliness," he wrote.

McLaren, a former pastor, said his Ramadan fast is also part of his post-9-11 worldview.

"Some Christians in the U.S. are becoming more anti-Muslim," he said in an interview. "They are retrenching in a fearful, angry posture. Other Christians are saying now, in the aftermath of Sept. 11, we have to recommit ourselves to the work of peacemaking like never before. That has been my response."

Before Ramadan,McLaren sought a Muslim fasting partner. He found one in Eboo Patel, executive director of Chicago-based Interfaith Youth Core, which promotes interfaith cooperation.

Patel said there are important differences in his fast and McLaren's. As a Muslim, Patel said he fasts during Ramadan because the Prophet Muhammad fasted then, and because the first revelation of the Quran occurred that month.

"That is not something Brian shares, at least not in the same way," Patel said.
McLaren said he has discovered a handful of fellow Christians fasting during Ramadan. One has quietly been doing it for more than 20 years. Others are new to it — like Ries in Washington state.

Ries considers the idea consistent with his own efforts to reach out to people who are different. Only problem was, he didn't know any Muslims in Bellingham, a college town of 75,000 on the Northwest coast.

An Internet search introduced him to Monem Salam, the subject of the documentary "On a Wing and a Prayer," which followed Salam's journey of learning to fly and obtaining a pilot's license after Sept. 11.

The two had coffee a couple of days before Ramadan, hit it off, and a fast friendship was born.

"When you have a leader of a church or a community go through the experience of fasting an entire month of Ramadan, what happens is not only does he understand a little more about the Muslim or Islamic culture, but he has the podium, or the pulpit, to teach that to other people as well," said Salam, 37, who works for an investment firm that manages a large Sharia-compliant mutual fund.

Ries had fasted before, but not from water. About two weeks in, he said, his body adjusted. Ries also has been reading the Quran, not for spiritual sustenance but to learn something, he said. Joining the Muslim community to break fast each night has opened this eyes to their graciousness and hospitality, he said.

Ries said he faced questions from some in his flock and criticism from others who read about his fast.

"There is no violation of my own faith in this," Ries said. "The concern is that somehow, I'm endorsing this other path. But I tell people I believe Jesus is the son of God. I believe he is the way and the truth and the life. But I believe I don't get to say who goes to hell and who doesn't. That's God's job."

Of the anger he's encountered from some Christians who object, Ries said: "A major factor is fear ... if we move the line here, we'll move it further, and this is the beginning of the end."

Albert Mohler, president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., said the idea of Christians fasting at Ramadan appears at first to be neighborly solidarity, but it's more than that.

"The logic of Islam is obedience and submission," Mohler said. "It's by following these practices that a Muslim demonstrates his obedience to the rule of the law through the Quran. For a Christian to do the same automatically implies a submission to the same rule. And beyond that, it's an explicit affirmation that this is a good and holy thing. From a New Testament perspective, it is not a good and holy thing."

Christians should have friendships with people of other faith, but engaging in other traditions' worship practices is problematic, said Mark Driscoll, lead preaching pastor at Mars Hill Church in Seattle. Driscoll said that in this case, Christians and Muslims fast for different purposes and do not worship the same God.

Christians observing a Ramadan fast is "insane at best ... Sad, tragic, horrific, misguided, dangerous, wrong," Driscoll said. "If Christians want to pray during Ramadan, they should pray not with Muslims but for Muslims — that Muslims would come to know Jesus. To pray with Muslims absolutely dishonors Jesus."

There is disagreement among evangelicals about whether Christians and Muslims worship the same God; Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet and a teacher, but not the son of God.

Among Muslims, McLaren's Ramadan fast and invitation to other Christians to join him would be widely welcomed, with a "very small minority" wondering whether it's an effort to infiltrate and convert the Muslim community, said Akbar Ahmed, chairman of the Islamic studies department at American University.

"There is a high level of anti-Americanism in the Muslim world," Ahmed said. "Now they are going to say this propaganda that America hates us is not true. Here is a pastor who wants to understand us, who does not want to convert us, and who is even prepared to walk with us, to fast with us. That is a big gesture."

As Ramadan nears it end, McLaren said his fast has made him more sensitive to people who endure hunger every day without the promise of relief at sundown. And he said the commitment and self-discipline the fast requires has increased his respect for Muslims.

"I have felt Muslims don't want me to compromise and say belief doesn't matter," he said. "They want me to be a faithful Christian — a faithful Christian that doesn't want to destroy all Muslims."

Hillary Clinton reached out to Muslim communities at home and abroad by hosting an "iftar" at the State Department Monday evening. "Iftar" refers the one meal participating Muslims have each day after fasting from sun-up to sun-down for one month, in observation of Ramadan -- the holiest period of each year and the ninth month in the Islamic calendar.

"The nearly seven million Muslims in our country have enriched our culture, have made us stronger, because of contributions that many of you and others across America have given to us," Clinton said before the meal, to guests comprised of diplomats and prominent members of Muslim American communities in the U.S.

Also speaking before the meal was the State Department's new Special Representative to Muslim Communities, Farah Pandith, sworn-in Monday morning by Secretary Clinton.

"This holy month of Ramadan provides us with these wonderful opportunities to reflect on the principles of a faith that is practiced by more than a billion women and men worldwide. As we fast, we are asked to think of the other, to be cognizant of the importance of respect for all, and to renew our efforts to do good deeds," said Pandith.

"As a Muslim who immigrated to the United States at a young age, I have walked the typical American road. I have balanced my faith and my heritage and my love of my country without pause," Pandith said.

"It is as American to have pad thai, as it is a pizza," she joked.

Clinton acknowledged that the relationship between Muslim communities and other Americans has not always been harmonious. After the attacks of September 11, 2001-- committed by violent extremist Muslims from parts of the Middle East, many Muslim Americans faced outright hostility and prejudice in the U.S.

"Now we recognize that the relationship between the United States and Muslim communities has at times suffered from misunderstanding and misperception," Clinton said. "But we are committed to learning and listening, to creating bridges of understanding, and respect, and building stronger bonds of cooperation."

Michigan:Non-Muslim Med Students Fast to "Understand" Muslims

Obviously I have posted numerous articles here about non-Muslim Brits catering to Islam. To be honest, the US is no better in this regard. Michigan medical students have played right into the hand of the U-M’s Muslim Medical Students Association who had sponsored Fast-A-Thon Wednesday. Trust me it wouldn't be long until the non-Muslims students are asked to do more to "understand" Muslims. Our clock is ticking, and we are not even fighting.

Long before sunrise Wednesday morning, second-year University of Michigan medical student Jess Guh and some of her classmates dragged themselves to Denny’s restaurant to grab a bite to eat.

They don’t typically eat that early, but they wanted to get something in their stomachs before fasting for the Muslim observance of Ramadan.

“It’s the only place that’s open at 4 in the morning,” Guh said.

She and many of her medical school friends aren’t Muslim, but as future physicians, they were trying to better understand how annual Ramadan fasting would affect the lives of their Muslim patients.

They were among about 100 students and about a dozen faculty who participated in the Muslim Medical Students Association’s Fast-A-Thon Wednesday. The event encourages members of the medical school community to try to adhere to the traditional fast from eating or drinking anything between dawn to dusk for one day of Ramadan. U-M was one of many campuses across the United States with similar events.

The observance is meant to teach charity and patience, among other things, said Hasan Siddiqi, a leader of U-M’s Muslim Medical Students Association. On Wednesday evening, they attended a reception to break the fast with Pakistani foods, and several speakers talked about the significance of the observance.

The idea behind the event is that if a provider can understand where a patient is coming from in their religious practices, they’ll be able to find ways to accommodate those practices or better explain why they aren’t medically safe, Siddiqi said.

The hope is to also build awareness and commonality between Muslims and non-Muslims in the medical community, he said.

Still dressed in his scrubs from his rotation in the surgery department Wednesday, Wajeeh Muhammad — who is Muslim — said he appreciated the effort many of his non-Muslim counterparts were making. It will benefit them in the future as physicians, he said.

“The first couple days of this are tough. The most difficult part is not drinking water. It is tiring,” Muhammad said.

London Mayor Recommends Ramadan Fast for All

Last year during the month of Ramadan all members of the Tower Hamlets Council in East London were forced to follow the strict Islamic rules of Ramadan during their meetings. This year the cowardly Mayor of London wants to take it up a notch and is suggesting that all non-Muslims there fast for Ramadan in an effort to learn about Islam. I strongly suggest that the mayor quickly learns that Islam calls for the dominance of non-Muslims and playing into their hand is not the answer.

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has recommended that non-Muslims take the opportunity of the month of Ramadan to fast, along with their Muslim neighbors, in order to promote "understanding between cultures."

Johnson told members of a London mosque that with Muslims so much a part of London life,
it would be befitting for non-Muslims to get to know their fellow Londoners' customs and religion better.

"Whether it's in theater, comedy, sports, music or politics, Muslims are challenging the traditional stereotypes and showing that they are, and want to be, a part of the mainstream community," Johnson said.
''That's why I urge people, particularly during Ramadan, to find out more about Islam, increase your understanding and learning, even fast for a day with your Muslim neighbor and break your fast at the local mosque. I would be very surprised if you didn't find that you share more in common than you thought," he said.

'Muslims are at the heart of every aspect of society," he added. "Their contribution is something that all Londoners benefit from. Muslim police officers, doctors, scientists and teachers are an essential part of the fabric of London." There are currently 1.6 million Muslims in Britain, most of whom fast during Ramadan, Muslim community officials told reporters.

Not all Londoners embraced the idea. A local English Democrat leader, Steve Uncles, blasted Johnson's comments, saying that "the indigenous culture of this country is based on Christianity and Paganism. Of course, as an open and tolerant society, if people want to practice other religions, then good luck to them. But the state should not be funding them because otherwise we will lose our culture."

Although perhaps the most original, Johnson's is far from the only effort by Western politicians to honor Ramadan and Muslims. Last week, U.S. President Barack Obama hosted a Ramadan break the fast meal at the White House. "Islam, as we know, is part of America," Obama said during the dinner. "Together we have a responsibility to foster engagement grounded in mutual interest and mutual respect."


A report Saturday said that Egyptian police had arrested 155 people in the southern city of Aswan for not fasting during Ramadan. According to local reports, police have targeted people seen eating or drinking anything during daylight hours. According to one local official, the police campaign is evidence of an increased Muslim fervor among police, while another official said that the local government was trying to appease Islamists, who have increased in popularity in recent months.

There was no word on whether London Mayor Johnson was planning to suggest that Muslims and Christians fast on Yom Kippur in order to better understand their Jewish neighbors.

He continues to talk about mutual respect between Muslims and non-Muslims, can someone please wake me when the Islamic world actually reciprocates?

Sept. 1 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama highlighted the contributions made by Muslims to American culture and the “dynamism and diversity” of the Islamic community.

“Islam, as we know, is part of America,” Obama said at a White House dinner celebrating the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. “Together we have a responsibility to foster engagement grounded in mutual interest and mutual respect.”

“That’s one of my fundamental commitments as president both at home and abroad,” Obama said. “That is central to the new beginning that I’ve sought between the United States and Muslims around the world and that is a commitment that we can renew once again during this holy season.”

The dinner, held in the State Dining Room, brought together members of Congress, Cabinet members, diplomatic officials and community leaders from a spectrum of countries and religions. Representatives of Saudi Arabia, Israel, France, Germany and the Palestine Liberation Organization dined on dates, a traditional feature at the Iftar dinner, as well as salad with spiced almonds and chicken with a potato and leek puree.

The White House Celebrates Ramadan

Since Obama has taken office he has basically had two things on his mind. Catering to Islam and spending every penny that he can get his hands on. Both of these actions are being used to take down America as we know it. In regards to him promoting Islam, he has giving an extremely pro-Islamic speech in Cairo, made a Ramadan video in which he stats that Islam is about justice and tolerance, and on Tuesday night the White House will be hosting a Ramadan dinner celebration. The guests include prominent figures from the most oppressive Islamic countries in the world. Obama and his guests will have a lot in common.

President Obama will hold his first White House dinner celebrating the Muslim holiday of Ramadan on Tuesday night as part of his effort to rebuild American relations with the Islamic world after years of strain.

The dinner follows in the tradition of former President George W. Bush, who held eight Ramadan dinners in office to stress that America’s war with violent extremists was not a war with Islam. Despite that outreach, Mr. Bush became a polarizing figure to many Muslims, in large part because of the Iraq war and his staunch support for Israel.

Mr. Obama, while adopting a similar message of respect for the religion of Islam, has none of the baggage of his predecessor and some distinctive advantages that aides hope give him credibility. While the president is a Christian, he comes from a family that includes Muslims, and he spent several years as a child growing up in a Muslim country, Indonesia. His opposition to the Iraq war and his tougher stance on Israel also contrast with Mr. Bush’s policies.

Among those invited to the White House on Tuesday night are the ambassadors from most major Muslim countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq and Turkey, as well as envoys from nations with significant Muslim populations like Israel, Germany, India, Britain and France. Also on the invitation list is the chief of mission of the Palestinian Liberation Organization.

Besides the president, the administration will be represented by Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. and Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of health and human services. Senator Richard G. Lugar, Republican of Indiana, and Representatives Andre Carson, a Muslim from Indiana, John Conyers of Michigan, Keith Ellison, a Muslim from Minnesota and Rush Holt of New Jersey, all Democrats, are expected as well.

Among the community members invited are Lt. Cmdr. Kuwait:Woman Arrested for Chewing gum During Ramadan

Earlier this week ago I posted an article about the Kuwait Islamic Bank that imposed Sharia on a Colorado real estate firm. Today we get this story about a woman arrested in Kuwait for chewing gum. I know....I know....they are a "moderate" ally of ours.

Woman nabbed for chewing gum on the first day of Ramadan

Kuwait :A woman was arrested on the first day of Ramadan for breaking her fast by chewing gum.

According to sources, security officers from the Hawalli governorate spotted the woman chewing gum at 5:30 am while they were on patrol duty. When they questioned her about the act, she said she had the personal freedom to do as she pleased.

She was referred to the authorities and a case was registered.

Meanwhile, two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested for cases previously registered them.

According to sources, both citizens were stopped for identification by security officials on patrol duty. While verifying their documents, however, it was discovered that one citizen had a drug-related case registered against him for which he was sentenced to a prison term of 12 years. The other citizen had several civil cases registered against him.

Both the men were handed over to the authorities for further action.

In Ramadan, the Best Dates in Egypt are 'Obama'

President Obama's Islamic ass kissing speech in Cairo has finally paid off. The Christian persecuting Muslims of Egypt, are now honoring Obama by naming their best dates (fruit) after him. In 2006 Hezbollah terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah shared the same honor. This must be a proud day in Obama's life.

CAIRO – For the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Egyptian fruit sellers have named their best dates of the year after President Barack Obama in a sweet tribute to the American leader for his outreach to the Muslim world.

Dates are a traditional food for Ramadan — which begins Saturday in most of the Islamic world — since the Prophet Muhammad is said to have used them to break the month's sunrise-to-sunset fast each evening.

In Egypt, shops have created a new tradition of naming their best and worst dates to catch attention and boost sales — giving a little reflection of the political mood.

Obama's vault to the top of the Egyptian date-scale comes after he delivered a landmark address in Cairo in June, saying he wants to improve American ties with Muslims around the world. Those ties were deeply strained under his predecessor, George W. Bush, who was widely resented in the Arab world — and whose name was given to the worst quality dates in Egypt in past Ramadans.

"We love Obama and so we named our best dates for him," said Atif Hashim at his busy shop in downtown Cairo.

Huge barrels in his shop were piled with "Obama" dates, selling for just under $2.50 a pound ($5 a kilogram). For an additional dollar, there is an even better date, labeled on a sign as "Super Obama."

"We put a sweet date in Mr. Obama's mouth and a message in his ear," Hashim said. "Please help to bring peace to the world. We have a lot of hope in you."

Hashim named his poorer dates after Israeli Foreign Minister Avidgor Lieberman, a hard-liner who is particularly disliked in Egypt for once saying its president, Hosni Mubarak, can "go to hell."

Other low-quality dates were named after Lieberman's predecessor, Tzipi Livni, and after Bush. They all go for about 17 cents a pound (36 cents a kilogram).

In 2006, many sellers in Egypt named their best dates after the leader of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, whose popularity soared among Arabs because his militants battled Israel in a devastating war that summer.

Obama's Ramadan Video Message to the Islamic World

President Obama has continued with his effort to whitewash Islam, as he has made a video "on behalf of the American people" to send best wishes to the Muslim world for the Islamic holiday of Ramadan.

In the message posted on the White House Web site, Obama says the rituals of Ramadan are a reminder of the principles Muslims and Christians have in common. He says those principles include advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.

YUSUFALI: Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Did you not notice that non-Muslims are persecuted across the Islamic world? Obama please stop with the obvious lies, you are only making a fool of yourself.

Doctors and Dogs

Here are three separate stories of imposing Muslims. Involving life saving dogs and life saving doctors. But none of that is of any concern to the Islamos of Europe. In Tayside Scotland, Muslims are having another hissy fit. All because a picture of a police department puppy is on postcards handed out by the police department. The cards were handed out to let the people know of a new non-emergency phone number. Some shop keepers will not display the cards, not wanting to offend Muslims and the Dundee City Councilor is conducting an investigation. His name happens to be Mohammed Asif. I wonder what side he will take. This is another reason Muslims do not belong in our politics. The police department has actually apologized for this.

On to the doctors, still taking place in Scotland. The National Health Service for Scotland, has advised nurses and doctors not to eat in front of Muslim patients and colleagues during the month of Ramadan. They have also been told to keep food trolleys out of the site of Muslims. Why, will the Muslims riot? A spokesperson for the NHS said this was done to show consideration for the Muslims. When do Muslims show consideration for the beliefs of non-Muslims? Just curious.

Back to the dogs. In the overly politically correct U.K., police dogs at railway stations may no longer come into contact with Muslim passengers. After complaints from some followers of Islam. So, their religion is more important to U.K. police, then stopping suicide bombers that stem from their religion. OK, that makes sense....the U.K., who I am rooting for 100% is getting dumber by the day.
