Islam4UK: Our Religious Police Will Save UK

On October 31st, Islam4UK will be holding their first annual March4 Sharia Day. Part of their plan after Sharia is implemented there, is to close down all the brothels and nightclubs. Personally I am not for the brothels myself, and would never visit one. But I do not believe that public lashings are the appropriate response either. As for the nightclubs it is absolutely insane to want to close them down. If people want to go out and unwind that is their business and after working a full week, I do not blame them. Anyone who thinks that the religious police will stop here, is only kidding themselves. The sooner that the UK authorities start kicking down doors and closing every last Sharia Court there, the better.

With the introduction of Shari'ah law in Britain, an Islamic police network will immediately be assigned to deal with any disorderly or unwarranted behaviour. It is this very network that we envisage will deal with the exploitation of women in the Adult Industry. Appropriately equipped, the Islamic police will categorically arrest all individuals associated with the maintenance or procurement of this lewd industry; Islamic policewomen would furthermore assess the reality of all female ‘employees' and take into consideration any who may have been duped into the illegal service or forced for whatever reason.

Once all brothels and nightclubs are vacated, the entire area immediately surrounding the building will be cordoned off and treated as a crime scene. Evidence will be extracted and all members involved questioned extensively by investigators. If found guilty, punishments could extend from fines to public lashing, any individual in custody who is found not guilty will immediately be freed and duly compensated for his incarceration.

Leading UK Muslim Anjem Choudary who had recently stated that Islam is at war with the UK, has now invited the non-Muslims of the UK to Islam. If they do not want to accept Islam, Sharia Law is the next offer. If these offers are rejected by the non-Muslims there, then under Islam Muslims have the right to wage a holy war.

The slow suicide of the West continues. Muslim communities are forming across the Netherlands, and Sharia Law is slowly taking hold.



None of this apparently matters though, as the government has appointed a Muslim mayor.

In Rotterdam, where cultural and social divides are apparent, the burden of bridging them now belongs to Morocco-born Ahmed Aboutaleb. How he fares could matter beyond his city's borders.

Reporting from Rotterdam, Netherlands - The veiled women clutch their children's hands as they scurry past the liquor store, ignoring rows of vodka bottles on their way to the Muslim butcher's next door.

Across the street, male customers emerge from the Climax sex shop with their purchases and quickly stride away without a second glance at the Turkish kebab restaurant just opening for lunch.

The conservative and liberal, religious and secular, Dutch and foreign stand side by side here in Rotterdam, in a contrasting and at times uneasy coexistence where social and cultural middle ground can be elusive.

The job of finding that middle ground has now fallen onto the shoulders of a thoughtful Moroccan-born Muslim who arrived in Rotterdam just nine months ago. His address: the mayor's office.

Ahmed Aboutaleb is the first Muslim immigrant to lead a major Dutch city. The son of an imam, he was appointed mayor of Rotterdam late last year and in January became the official face of the Netherlands' second-largest city.

Right-wing politicians demanded that Aboutaleb demonstrate his loyalty by giving up his Moroccan passport (he holds dual nationality). Geert Wilders, the country's most inflammatory public figure, declared that Aboutaleb's appointment was "as ridiculous as appointing a Dutchman as mayor of Mecca."

But there have been missteps. Critics questioned an official trip Aboutaleb took to Morocco in June, during which he met the country's foreign minister and appeared to step on the toes of the Dutch central government.

In August, a dance party for thousands of beachgoers devolved into pandemonium and brawls in which one man was killed. The mayor, criticized for not assigning enough police officers to patrol the event, ordered a two-year ban on such parties.

Muslims are great at building bridges, they build them for themselves in an attempt to move towards more land to conquer.

UK:Home Office Staff Told not to eat Near Muslims for Ramadan

In a continuing attempt from Muslims and their leftist partners to destroy the UK, Home Office employees were told not to be seen eating near their Muslim co-workers for the entire month of Ramadan.

For those who do not know, the Home Office is the lead government department for immigration and passports, drugs policy, counter-terrorism and police. What a message they are sending out....

Home Office staff were officially warned not to eat in front of their fasting Muslim colleagues during Ramadan – in case it made them feel hungry.

The advice came in a taxpayer-funded internal document listing do’s and don’ts during the Muslim holy month, which ends this weekend.

But the guide is now at the centre of a row with Islamic groups who said it was more likely to incite hatred of Muslims than promote understanding.

The Home Office Islamic Network produced the five-page information sheet which says: ‘In practical terms, please be sensitive when eating lunch near a Muslim colleague who is fasting.

This can make an individual feel hungrier and make it more challenging to observe the fast.’

During the holy month devout Muslims do not drink or eat from dawn until sunset and, according to the document, must avoid ‘all obscene and irreligious sights and sounds’.

It also urged Home Office managers to be flexible over working arrangements.

It says: ‘The most likely need Muslim staff may present to managers during this period is for flexibility around working hours and break times as those fasting will have a slightly different routine from usual. Managers and Muslim staff should discuss what their needs are and be responsive and sensitive.’

Managers were also told: ‘Muslim staff who are fasting and whose environment allows it may wish to set out for work earlier than usual and finish their working day correspondingly early...in line with flexi-time arrangements.’

Last night a Home Office spokeswoman confirmed the document had been distributed to its staff and posted on the department’s internal intranet system.

She said: ‘It is not formal departmental guidance and was written by volunteers.’
The spokeswoman added that the Islamic Network was one of a number of staff faith and equality groups within the Home Office and was paid for by the taxpayer.

CAIRO — A devout Christian nurse is being ordered to remove a cross or face suspension, The Sun reported Monday, September 21.

“Being told to take it off has completely and utterly shaken me,” Shirley Chaplin said.

"I don't want to have to decide between my faith and my job.”

The 54-year-old nurse, from the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust, was asked to stop wearing a silver Cross openly or face suspension.

She was also taken off duty over her Cross and was offered to switch to an administrative role.

Hospital officials argue wearing the Cross violates the uniform policy and poses danger to patients.

“I've worn it for years and now, at the end of my career, I'm told to take it off,” said Shirley, who has worn her Cross for the 38 years.

"For about 30 years I have worked in the NHS and nursed patients day and night and on no occasion has my cross caused me or anyone else, any injury - and to my knowledge, no patient has ever complained about me wearing it.

"The trust even refused to test the 'breaking strain' on the necklace.

"I can't explain how important the cross is to me. My Christian faith is what motivates me to care for others.”

Why is the nurse being so stupid and making such a big deal out of it, and losing her job. The cross as every single denomination in christendom would say is not an article of faith, and a christian does not have to wear. Whilst a turban, a hijab, a skullcap, are all articles of faith for these religious communties.

Really who cares? There is a huge difference between the hijab and the crucifix. Hijab is obligatory and not simply a display of somebody's faith, while the crucifix is. It's a symbol of a false and way distorted religion loaded with contradictions! Centuries after the disappearance of the prophet Jesus (peace and blessing be upon) and out of the blue they decided to make him divine in a meeting. A gross distortion of his message, and a huge transgression on him.

UK Govt Troubled by Violent Anti-Islam Protests

Muslims in the UK are calling for war from their Sharia Courts, and clearly bullying the police. Yet the UK government was silent about these actions. Now they have now spoken up in concern about the anti-Islam protests though. Obviously the current leaders of the UK just do not have the guts to fight for life as they know it.

UK gov't troubled by violent anti-Islam protests

LONDON — A British minister is sounding the alarm over a spate of anti-Islam demonstrations that have descended into violence in the past month.

Communities minister John Denham says recent clashes between white protesters and Muslim counter-demonstrators in Birmingham and London have parallels to the violence provoked by 1930s-era fascists.

Denham told The Guardian newspaper in an interview published Saturday that the clashes reminded him of 1936's Battle of Cable Street, in which black-clad supporters of British fascist leader Oswald Mosley marched through Jewish areas, leading to clashes.

As British police chiefs prepare to meet to discuss the threat, Denham says the government will take action to defuse community tensions.

UK Police Cannot Handle Muslim Protesters~Video

Today Stop the Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) was supposed have to an 911 anti-Islam rally outside the North London Harrow Central Mosque. They had planned a peaceful protest, but of course earlier in the day 100's Muslims had showed up and as usual started trouble.

Instead of laying down the law and showing the Muslim protesters who called the shots, the police forced SIOE to cancel the rally. A senior sergeant said "he does not want any of his men killed." The cowardly police even arrested SIOE leader Stephen Gash, to "prevent a breach of peace".The UK police have given up without a fight.

Ten people have been arrested during a demonstration outside a mosque in north-west London where an anti-Islamic protest was planned.

At least 1,000 people gathered outside Harrow Central Mosque as activists from Stop Islamification of Europe planned to demonstrate outside the mosque.

Unite Against Fascism were also present to "defend the mosque", they said.

Bricks, bottles and firecrackers were thrown at police officers who were present in riot gear at the scene.

Just after 2000 BST, police said there were a small number of people in the area. Mobile patrols were continuing in a bid to reassure residents.

Earlier, hundreds of youths, some covering their faces with scarves, were in the area and there were skirmishes with police as some demonstrators broke a police cordon.

Supt Julia Pendry said police had to "intervene" to stop things from "escalating".

She said: "Officers came under attack from bricks and bottles and we had to deploy our staff in protective equipment a number of times.

"Police had to take fast-time action to stop events from getting even worse this afternoon, by intervening to prevent an imminent breach of the peace.

"What played out on the streets of Harrow today is completely unacceptable to everyone," she added.

'Saddened and dismayed'

Stop Islamification of Europe (SIOE) said they planned a "peaceful protest" against the building of a five-storey mosque next to the Harrow Central Mosque.

But in a message on their website SIOE said the protest had been called off and organiser Stephen Gash had been arrested.

The posting read: "If you are on your way to the demo, don't go, it's being called off right now.

"The police can't handle the Muslim counter-demonstrators. The senior sergeant said that he doesn't want any of his policemen killed."

LONDON – Three British Muslims were convicted Monday of plotting to murder thousands by downing at least seven airliners bound for the U.S. and Canada in what was intended as the largest terrorist attack since Sept. 11.

A jury at a London court found Abdulla Ahmed Ali, 28, Assad Sarwar, 29, and Tanvir Hussain, 28, guilty of conspiracy to murder by detonating explosives on aircraft while they were in-flight.

Four other alleged conspirators — whom the prosecution said were to have smuggled liquid explosives onboard jetliners disguised as soft drinks — were acquitted of conspiring to blow up planes. The jury could not reach a verdict on an eighth man.

British and U.S. security officials said the plan — unlike many recent homegrown European terrorist plots — was directly linked to al-Qaida and guided by senior Islamic militants in Pakistan, who hoped to mount a spectacular strike on the West.

The officials said British plotters were likely just days away from mounting their suicide attacks when police rounded up 25 people in dawn raids in August 2006.

Their arrests led to travel chaos as hundreds of jetliners were grounded across Europe. Discovery of the plot also triggered changes to airport security, including new restrictions on the amount of liquids and gels passengers can take onto flights.

Prosecutors said suspects had identified seven specific flights from London's Heathrow airport to New York, Washington, Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto and Montreal, as their targets.

British authorities estimate that, if successful, around 2,000 passengers would have died. If bombs were detonated over U.S. and Canadian cities, hundreds more would have been killed on the ground.

I remember when the UK first announced that a handful of Sharia Courts had opened there. People across the Internet were saying that is was no big deal, that is was just like Beth Din, Jewish Courts. My argument was that Jews are not looking to impose religious laws on the UK and that Pandora's Box had been opened. That the sharia loving Muslims of the UK would keep on pushing until they get full Sharia Law implemented in these courts. The push just got stronger.

UK hate preacher demands Koran-bashing author’s trial under sharia court

London, Sep. 4 : British hate preacher Anjem Choudary has controversially demanded capital punishment for Koran-bashing author Sebastian Faulks if he is found guilty under sharia law.

“Mr Faulks was extremely naïve for what he said and it could have some grave consequence for him. Someone like this needs to be assessed in an Islamic court of law and if he’s found guilty then there would be capital punishment,” the Daily Express quoted him, as saying.

“Just as we chopping the hand off a thief and stoning the adulterer, we have for the one who insults the Prophet the death penalty,” he added.

Last week, Faulks had attracted Muslim community’s wrath by describing Koran as “the rantings of a schizophrenic” and “very disappointing from a literary point of view”.

Faulks, the author of James Bond novel Devil May Care, had said that the words of Prophet Mohammed were "one-dimensional", and had criticised the Koran for not telling stories, like the Old Testament.

Although Faulks has apologised for calling Koran the “rantings of a schizophrenic,” Islam4UK a radical group associated with Choudary posted an article on its website entitled, “Sebastian Faulks on a Death Wish?”

“May Allah punish the oppressors and deal with the slanderers,” it added.

Alexander Meleagrou-Hitchens, of the Centre for Social Cohesion, said: “Choudary and his followers are seeking to impose their will on the population of this country through subversion and incitement to violence.

“The weakness of Choudary’s fascist ideology could not be better illustrated than by his inability to provide an intellectual response to criticism, instead resorting to veiled threats and intimidation.”

However, Faulks declined to comment. His spokeswoman said: “He apologises if his comments about the Koran have offended Muslims.” (ANI)

London drops 'burkini' swimwear for non-Muslims

A London district council has rescinded rules that banned conventional swimsuits at a public pool to avoid offending Muslims.

All women, regardless of religion, had to wear the so-called burkini (or burquini) — an outfit consisting of head scarf, tunic and trousers — while men had to be covered from the navel to the knees.

The rules were put in place for weekend swimming sessions geared to Muslims in which men and women swam separately. Swimmers had to meet the "modest" dress code required by Islamic custom. T-shirts, however, are forbidden in public pools.

The Croydon council dropped the guidelines from its website after the news generated a backlash.

Across the English Channel, France has taken the opposite approach to the burkini. A 35-year-old woman was recently evicted from a pool outside Paris for wearing the head-to-toe swimwear because it is considered unhygienic.

Just yesterday I posted an article about a government official in the UK who had walked out of a Muslim wedding, because he was not allowed to sit next to his wife. I was hoping that this good news would snowball and we would learn of more cases of non-Muslim Brits not willing to cater to Islam. But unfortunately we learn that UK municipal pools are catering to Islam and some even forcing Islamic dress codes. As of now the once proud UK is going down without a fight.

British swimming pools are imposing Muslim dress codes in a move described as divisive by Labour MPs.

Under the rules, swimmers – including non-Muslims – are barred from entering the pool in normal swimming attire.

Instead they are told that they must comply with the "modest" code of dress required by Islamic custom, with women covered from the neck to the ankles and men, who swim separately, covered from the navel to the knees.

The phenomenon runs counter to developments in France, where last week a woman was evicted from a public pool for wearing a burkini – the headscarf, tunic and trouser outfit which allows Muslim women to preserve their modesty in the water.

The 35-year-old, named only as Carole, is threatening legal action after she was told by pool officials in Emerainville, east of Paris, that she could not wear the outfit on hygiene grounds.

But across the UK municipal pools are holding swimming sessions specifically aimed at Muslims, in some case imposing strict dress codes.

Croydon council in south London runs separate one-and-a half-hour swimming sessions for Muslim men and women every Saturday and Sunday at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre.

Swimmers were told last week on the centre's website that "during special Muslim sessions male costumes must cover the body from the navel to the knee and females must be covered from the neck to the ankles and wrists".

There are similar rules at Scunthorpe Leisure Centre, in North Lincolnshire, where "users must follow the required dress code for this session (T-shirts and shorts/leggings that cover below the knee)".

In Glasgow, a men-only swimming session is organised by a local mosque group at North Woodside Leisure Centre, at which swimmers must be covered from navel to knee.
At a women-only class organised by a Muslim teacher at Blackbird Leys Swimming Pool, Oxford, to encourage Muslim women to learn to swim, most participants wear "modest" outfits although normal costumes are permitted.

The dress codes have provoked an angry reaction among critics who say they encourage division and resentment between Muslims and non-Muslims, putting strain on social cohesion.

Ian Cawsey, the Labour MP for the North Lincolnshire constituency of Brigg and Goole, said: "Of course swimming pools have basic codes of dress but it should not go beyond that.

"I don't think that in a local authority pool I should have to wear a particular type of clothes for the benefit of someone else. That's not integration or cohesion."
Labour MP Anne Cryer, whose Keighley, West Yorkshire constituency has a large number of Muslims, said: "Unfortunately this kind of thing has a negative impact on community relations.

"It's seen as yet another demand for special treatment. I can't see why special clothing is needed for what is a single-sex session."

Muslim swimming sessions are also held at a number of state schools around the country. At Loxford School in Ilford, east London, a local Muslim group organises weekly sessions for Muslim men, with the warning that "it is compulsory for the body to be covered between the navel and the knees.

"Anyone not adhering to the dress code or rules within the pool will not be allowed to swim".

The practice of holding special Muslim swimming sessions has led to non-Muslims being turned away.

David Toube, 39 and his five year old son Harry were last year refused entry to Clissold Leisure Centre, in Hackney, east London, after being told the Sunday morning swimming session was for Muslim men only.

Council officials later said staff had made a mistake and both Mr Toube, a corporate lawyer, and his son should have been admitted.

After discovering the rules at Thornton Heath one Croydon resident, 34-year-old Alex Craig, said: "I think it is preposterous that a council should be encouraging this type of segregation over municipal facilities.

"Surely if Muslims want to swim then they should just turn up with their modest swimwear at the same time as everyone else."

Douglas Murray, director of the Centre for Social Cohesion, last night condemned the practice. He said: "This kind of thing is extremely divisive.

"Non-Muslims see these extremist demands as an example of Muslims wanting things to fit into their lifestyle, when there aren't similar things organised for Hindus, Buddhists or Jews.

"It also puts moderate Muslims in an awkward position as it suggests, wrongly, that they are not devout enough, simply because they choose not to cover themselves in a shroud in a pool."

A press officer at Croydon council, which introduced Muslim-only swimming in 2006, claimed that the wording on the website was a mistake and the dress code should be regarded as a suggestion rather than a requirement.

The website was late changed to remove the reference to the dress code.

However, an official at the leisure centre said the dress code remained compulsory.

Earlier, defending the segregation policy, a Croydon council spokesman said: "We appreciate that certain religious groups, such as Muslims, have strict rules on segregation for activities including sports, so in response to requests from the local community, we have been running these sessions at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre."

UK:Politician Walks out of Muslim Gender Segregated Wedding

Usually when we read an article about Islam in the UK we read about politically correct Brits catering to Islam, while ignoring their own beliefs. This time it is different though, as a government minister has sparked controversy by walking out of a Muslim wedding, because they would not let him sit with his wife. Personally I do not blame him one bit.

MP defends Muslim wedding walkout

A government minister has defended his decision to walk out of a Muslim wedding in east London because he was told he must sit apart from his wife.

Jim Fitzpatrick, food, farming and environment minister, left a ceremony at London Muslim Centre, Whitechapel.

The MP for Poplar and Canning Town told the BBC the segregation showed a degree of intolerance in the East End.

Mr Fitzpatrick, whose constituency is home to a large Muslim community, blamed the tough stance on the Islamic Forum of Europe (IFE) - an organisation that calls for Sharia law - which is based in the same building.

He told the BBC's Today: "This is a very exceptional occasion, it's a new occurrence.
"It perhaps demonstrates that there is a degree of intolerance - certainly exclusion rather than inclusion, which we are trying to build in the East End.

"Certainly the vast number of my Muslim constituents who've contacted me have expressed sympathy that I was placed in this predicament."

Mr Fitzpatrick is the local MP and a family friend of bride Mahbuba Kamali and groom Bodrul Islam.

The couple said they decided on a segregated wedding out of respect for some of their elderly relatives.

Mrs Kamali said: "It was a private party so if we want to make these requests we are not imposing it and saying we want it to go nationwide and for everyone to be segregated.

"If we wanted to we could have had a fancy dress party and ask all our guests to come this way, and I'm sure he would not refuse."

Mr Islam said he was "upset and embarrassed" by the incident.

"I don't think anyone deserves to have their wedding hijacked for political purposes, or any other purposes," he said.

Mohammad Shakir, a spokesman for the centre, said: "Segregated weddings have always been popular in the Muslim community - the London Muslim Centre has facilitated them for over five years.

"It is part of the attraction for Muslim families so they can celebrate their happy day in a religious atmosphere.

"We have always allowed non-Muslim guests to be seated together without segregation, but this is entirely at the discretion of the families who hire the halls."

UK:3 Officers Ordered to Dress up as Muslims for the day

Recently I posted an article about two UK counties which now require their female police officers to put on a headscarf before entering a Mosque. Three female police officers were ordered to dress up as Muslim women for the day just to see what it felt like.

They wore traditional burkhas as part of a scheme designed to help police interact better with the Islamic community.

Two covered their faces with hijab headscarves and niqab veils, leaving only narrow slits to see through, and another wore Muslim dress and a headscarf showing her face.

Critics yesterday lined up to denounce the scheme as ‘political correctness gone mad,’ and accused South Yorkshire Police of losing sight of its main objective.
Douglas Murray, of the Centre for Social Cohesion think-tank, said: ‘You just couldn’t make it up.

‘The victims of crime must be amazed that the police have so much time on their hands that they can spend a day playing dress-up.

‘This is a complete waste of police time and taxpayers’ money. It’s not the duty of police to empathise with particular sections of the community. It is the duty of the police to prevent crime and catch criminals.

‘After this are they planning to dress as members of other communities such as Hindus and Buddhists?’

Fiona McEvoy, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: ‘The police should be spending their time trying to catch criminals rather than indulging in gimmicky exercises.

‘This is political correctness gone mad – it’s ridiculous. These kinds of schemes seem to yield few measurable benefits.

‘Taxpayers would rather see the officers concentrating their efforts and resources on providing decent frontline policing, making the streets safer for every section of the community.

‘The police are overstretched as it is without officers being paid to do other things than their real job.’

The officers, Sergeant Deb Leonard, Sergeant Deb Pickering and Police Community Support Officer Helen Turner, all from Sheffield, were accompanied by four Muslim women to help them learn more about the Islamic faith on a tour of the city.

In return, the Muslim women were shown around South Yorkshire Police’s custody suite and CCTV office and learned about the day-to-day duties of a police officer.

A spokesman for the force said the exercise, called ‘In Your Shoes Day’, was designed to help officers interact better with the Muslim community across Sheffield.

‘This exercise is just one of many activities South Yorkshire Police have planned with communities and ethnic minority leaders to secure strong relationships, celebrate diversity and encourage integration, working towards a safer, closer society,’ she added.

But she said there were no plans to extend the scheme for officers to dress up as members of other minority communities.

Mr Murray said the scheme showed that the police were ‘having a nervous breakdown’. Sid Cordle, Sheffield-based Yorkshire regional organiser of the Christian People’s Alliance, said: ‘As far as we are concerned this form of dress is a symbol of oppression of women. The police should not be encouraging it.

‘If they really want to know how Muslim women feel they could learn far more by going and living amongst them and talking to them.’

The police spokesman said the officers who dressed up believed they were being monitored by security staff when they went into a shop and were stared at in the street.

But she admitted that they were unsure whether this was down to their clothing or being overly conscious of their appearance.

‘This is something which Muslim women would have to encounter and contemplate as a regular part of their lives,’ she added.

‘Two of the Muslim women anticipated that people may stare and possibly make comment, whilst the police officers entered this exercise with an open mind not knowing quite what to expect.’

Sergeant Leonard said the experience had given her a greater appreciation of how Muslim women feel when they walk out in public in ‘clothing appropriate to their beliefs’.

UK Muslim:Radicalize Because of Domestic Policy~Video

This site and many others are filled with evidence showing us how Muslims in the UK are walking all over the country. Even calling for war from their Sharia Courts. But according to Abu Waleed from the London School of Sharia (which should be closed down immediately) it is not enough. He claims that the government is trying to integrate them and that they should "radicalize" because of the UK's domestic and foreign policies.

UK:Non-Muslim Female Officers to Wear Headscarves When Entering Mosques

British leaders must stay up at night thinking of new ways that they can cater to Islam. Just the other day I posted that Muslims in the UK might get their own police division. Now non-Muslim female officers in two UK counties will be forced to wear headscarves upon entering a Mosque. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Muslims welcome police scarf move

Avon and Somerset Police is issuing head coverings to its female officers so they can enter mosques.

The force says the move will help its officers respect Muslim religious customs while carrying out their job.

The garments, designed to match the force's uniform, were designed in consultation with Muslim groups.

Imam Rashad Azami, of Bath, said: "This will go a long way in encouraging a trustful relationship between the police and the Muslim community."

Mr Azami, director of Bath Islamic Society, said: "The police have been working closely with the Muslim community in the area on many levels for the last few years."

There are two versions of the head coverings, to match the black of a police officer's uniform and the blue of the Police Community Support Officer uniforms.

Both carry the force's crest.

UK:Muslims Could get own Police

The legal system in the UK has constantly catered to Muslims. They already have their own Sharia Courts and now they might get their own religious police division. But nothing the Brits do surprises me anymore.

MUSLIM crime victims could gain the right to have their cases overseen by police from their own religion, it emerged last night.

Police in London already give victims the right to ask for a Sikh officer to be involved in an investigation but the scheme could be introduced for other religions elsewhere.

Chief Supt Joanna Young, from the Met’s Criminal Justice Policy Unit, said: “If it’s a success, I would encourage the other (police) associations to do likewise.”

The project is intended to help investigate “honour” killings and forced marriages but Metropolitan Police Federation chairman Peter Smyth said: “We’re stretched thin enough already. Are Sikh officers going to have their rotas changed so there’s always one on duty?

“It’s political correctness gone mad. We talking about the creation of a separate force within a force.”

But Palbinder Singh, chairman of the Metropolitan Police Sikh Association, said: “I don’t believe a white officer is ever going to be fully conversant with a Sikh.”

'Harsh Islamic punishments will make Britain safer'

London, July 22 (ANI): The Founder of Britain's oldest Sharia court has said that harsh Islamic punishments, such as the amputation of limbs, will make Britain a safer place.

The Daily Times quoted Sheikh Suhaib Hasan, secretary of the Islamic Sharia Council, as saying that the enforcement of Sharia law was "something to bring you more peace and security".

Hasan, president of an East London Sharia court, admitted that that he doesn't expect Britain to implement Islamic criminal laws as it is not a Muslim country.

He, however, added that problems such as 'knife crimes' would be resolved if harsher punishments were meted out because they worked as a deterrent.

Acknowledging the controversy surrounding any notion of support for hardline Islamic law in Britain, he said he was merely expressing his point of view as a devout Muslim. (ANI)

UK:Non-Muslims Using Sharia Courts!

Even though Sharia loving Muslims are openly calling for the conquest of the UK, some insane non-Muslims have actually started using the Sharia Courts to resolve their disputes. Talk about playing right into the enemies hand.

More Brit non-Muslims turning to Sharia courts to resolve civil disputes

LONDON - An increasing number of non-Muslims are turning to Sharia courts to resolve commercial disputes and other civil matters.

A report in The Times has quoted the Muslim Arbitration Tribunal (MAT) as saying that five per cent of its cases involved non-Muslims who were using the courts because they were less cumbersome and more informal than the English legal system.

Freed Chedie, a spokesman for Sheikh Faiz-ul-Aqtab Siqqiqi, a barrister who set up the tribunal, said: “We put weight on oral agreements, whereas the British courts do not.”

He said that the tribunal had adjudicated on at least 20 cases involving non-Muslims so far this year. The rulings of the tribunal are legally binding, provided that both parties agree to that condition at the beginning of any hearing.

Anti-Sharia campaigners, who claim that the Islamic system is radical and biased against women, expressed alarm at the news.

Denis MacEoin, who wrote a recent report for the think-tank Civitas examining the spread of Sharia in Britain, said: “You really need to ask why. What advantages could that possibly have for them going to an Islamic court? Any [Sharia] court is going to be implementing aspects of a law that runs contrary to British law, because of the way it treats women for example.”

Inayat Bunglawala, a spokesman for the Muslim Council of Britain, said that organisations should be free to conduct arbitration under Sharia, provided that it did not infringe British law and was a voluntary process.

Baroness Warsi, the Shadow Minister for Community Cohesion and Social Action, who is Muslim, said that there were many forums for arbitration and alternative dispute resolution in Britain. “There is no problem with that, as long as it is always subject to English law,” she said.

The Times has also learnt that the MAT is planning to triple the number of its courts by setting up in ten new British cities by the end of the year. It will expand its network further by acting as an advisory body to dozens of other Islamic courts, with the intention of achieving national consensus over rulings and procedures.

Although Sharia courts have been operating in the civil jurisdiction since the early 1980s, they have been doing so only in the shadows and in an ad-hoc fashion. The Civitas report estimated that there were 85 Sharia councils in Britain. (ANI)
