Obama Sides With Iran Over Families of Beirut Bombing Victims
Obama and his pro-Islamic Department of Justice (DOJ), have stabbed the families of the Beirut bombing victims in the back. Just like he did the families of the 911 victims, when he had the DOJ fill a brief to shield the Saudi Royal Family from any 911 lawsuits. Any questions where his loyalties lie?
Hat tip to Bare Naked Islam.
Adding insult to infamy
26 years after attack on Marine barracks in Beirut, families stymied again in bid for restitution
On Veterans Day, Christine Devlin stood in the cold in Westwood for the unveiling of a new memorial to local soldiers lost overseas, including her son Michael, one of the 241 servicemen killed in the bombing of the US Marine barracks in Lebanon in 1983.
Devlin is among 30 Massachusetts relatives of victims of the Beirut attack who have been fighting for more than a decade to get compensation for what many consider the first major terrorist attack against the United States. After a federal judge ruled in 2007 that Iran was liable for $2.65 billion in damages to be shared by 150 families seeking restitution, they believed they were on the cusp of victory.
But now, the Obama administration is going to court to try to block payments from Iranian assets that the families’ lawyers want seized, contending that it would jeopardize sensitive negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program and establish a potentially damaging precedent.
In a little-noticed filing in federal court, the Justice Department is arguing that giving the money to the victims “can have significant, detrimental impact on our foreign relations, as well as the reciprocal treatment of the United States and its extensive overseas property holdings.’’
The Obama administration’s position is a blow to those like Devlin, who is still waiting for some measure of justice for her son, who was 21 when Hezbollah terrorists rammed a suicide truck bomb into the peacekeepers’ headquarters.
“It is offensive that our government - the government that [the Marines] were fighting for, who sent them there - are against us collecting from Iran,’’ Devlin said in an interview this week. “I felt justice was going to be served, but so far it hasn’t.’’
“We can’t go on with our lives,’’ said Marlys Lemnah, 62, of St. Albans, Vt., whose husband, Richard, a Marine sergeant nearing his 20-year retirement, was killed in Beirut. “It’s not about the money. We need something tangible: responsibility and accountability. We will fight until we have no more fight left.’’
SNIP
The Justice Department declined to comment further on the administration’s position, but as the congressional analysis stated, “The issue has pitted the compensation of victims of terrorism against US foreign policy goals and some business interests.’’

Pelosi Calls Afghan Karzai "unworthy partner"
Today elitist Nancy Pelosi has thrown Afghan President Karzi into the meat grinder. Besides this, back in October Obama opened up his bottomless checkbook to the Taliban. Also stating that in the future, Taliban members will be allowed into the Afghan government. Is it clear whose side the left is on?
Pelosi calls Afghan Karzai "unworthy partner"
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Afghan President Hamid Karzai is an "unworthy partner" who does not deserve a big boost either in U.S. troops or civilian aid, U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.
Pelosi, a skeptic on sending more troops to Afghanistan, also said in an interview with National Public Radio aired on Friday that there was not strong support among her fellow Democrats in Congress for "any big ramp-up of troops" to oppose resurgent Taliban forces.
She told NPR she had asked fellow Democrats to give President Barack Obama room to decide his Afghan strategy, which is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Once Obama, also a Democrat, announces his decision, lawmakers would "not be shy" about responding, she said.
"The president of Afghanistan has proven to be an unworthy partner. We cannot fund a mission where we don't have a reliable partner and where whatever civilian investments we want to make, which are so necessary, will be diverted for a corrupt purpose," Pelosi told NPR News' Morning Edition.
"How can we ask the American people to pay a big price in lives and limbs and also in dollars if we don't have a connection to a reliable partner?"
Pelosi's comments came a day after Karzai was sworn in for his second five-year term. He has faced tough pressure from Western leaders to clamp down on widespread corruption and replace former guerrilla leaders and cronies with able technocrats in his new government.

Congressman Gerry Connolly Stands up For Islam
About a week ago, Pat Robertson stated that Islam is a "violent political system."
He happens to be correct, but as usual one of our politicians has to come running to stand up for a religion/political system that they know little about.
Virginia's 11Th District Congressman Gerry Connolly (D), has issued this statement calling for Pat Robertson to apologize for his comments about Islam.
“In the week since Mr. Robertson’s statement that Islam is ‘not a religion’ but a ‘violent political system’ whose adherents should be treated like members of the communist or fascist party, I have heard from hundreds of outraged Northern Virginians – Muslim and non-Muslim. Here in the 11Th Congressional District of Virginia and, in fact, across our Commonwealth, Muslim-Americans are a vibrant part of our communities. They serve in our nation’s military, contribute to our economic growth, and in myriad other ways, help form the diverse tapestry that is Virginia in the 21st century.
“Some will dismiss Mr. Robertson’s comments as the strange ramblings of a man stuck in a bygone era. But when a prominent Virginian chooses to engage in hate-filled rhetoric that divides us and has the potential to fuel real discord in our polity, leaders cannot remain silent. That is why I am calling on Mr. Robertson to apologize to my constituents – Muslim and non-Muslim – for the hurt he has caused and the damage he has done. It is a week overdue.”
Of course Robertson should never apologize for speaking the truth. But I was curious if the Congressman had any sound evidence to back up his statement. So I called his Washington DC office today.
When I called a staff member named Nick answered. I stated that I am calling in regards to the Congressman telling Robertson to apologize and why does he believe that Robertson's comments were not accurate? I mentioned this site, what is was about and if I could ask a few questions. Nick stated that he didn't know about the issue, but he would write down the questions and give them to the Congressman.
These were the three questions.
1. The"Justice" chapter of Reliance of the Traveller
A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law, describes Jihad as the following.
o9.0 JIHAD
(O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and it etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad.
Does the Congressman think that this is non-violent?
2. The Congressman spoke of division. Koran verse 9:29 specifically calls for Muslims to dominate and extort non-Muslims (jizya). Is that not division?
009.029
YUSUFALI: Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
3. Congressman Connolly mentioned "hate-filled rhetoric" coming from Robertson. Saying that he "hurt" Muslims. I stated that under Islam, Jesus will come back as a Muslim and destroy Christianity. I am "hurt" and "offended", will Connolly make a statement against Islam now?
Of course he will not, but we have to pressure our politicians and let them know that Muslims are not the only ones living here. As for staff member Nick, he was very polite and interested in what I had to say. He said that I shall receive an answer in the mail. I wouldn't be holding my breath though.

Holder: Protect Rights of all Americans, Including Muslims
Once again Eric Holder has reached out to the Muslim community. Holder speaks of treating people equally. Then how about him and the rest of our leaders stop bowing down to Islam, and acting like Muslims are the most important people here in America? Who protected the victims of the Fort Hood attack?
Holder: Protect rights of all Americans, including Muslims
Attorney General speaks in Detroit
BY NIRAJ WARIKOO
Reaching out to Arab Americans and Muslims, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder strongly declared in a Detroit speech Thursday night that their full rights must be protected while the country battles security threats.
“We are committed to protecting the rights of all Americans, including Muslims,” Holder told a crowd of hundreds at the Detroit Marriot in the Renaissance Center. “This is not blind adherence to political correctness. It is devotion to our founding documents.”
In recent days, conservatives have assailed the Obama administration for what it sees as a political correctness in dealing with the issue of Islamic extremism.
Holder addressed the Republican criticism head on, saying that it’s vital that all ethnic and religious groups in America be treated equally. He attacked racial profiling, saying it was bad policy that breeds mistrust and division.
“For the last nine months, I’ve heard from Muslim and Arab-Americans who feel uneasy about their relationship with their government, who feel isolated and discriminated against by law enforcement,” Holder said. “This is simply intolerable. No American should feel denied the tenets of our Constitution or of the government that created it… It is inconsistent with what America is all about.”
Holder also addressed tensions locally that have emerged over the Oct. 28 shooting death of a Muslim leader by federal agents who were going to arrest him on suspicions he dealt with stolen goods. Holder did not mention specifically the case of Luqman Ameen Abdullah, the head of a Detroit mosque. But he said:
“The dialogue between law enforcement and those in the Muslim and Arab-American communities has been tested in recent weeks by events here in Michigan and events far away.”
But, he added, “Our resolve must not waver. We must renew our commitment to open communication even when we disagree.”
Holder also touched upon the Fort Hood shootings, in which an Arab-American Muslim serving in the U.S. Army shot dead 13 members of the military.

“We need answers,” said Abdullah’s son, Omar Regan. “Islam is a target.”
Not really Omar, but it should be.

Israel Bashing Palestinian to run for Texas Governor
Israel bashing, Houston hair care executive Farouk Shami, is throwing his hat into the ring and has stated that he is 100% sure that he will be the next Governor of Texas.
Here is one of his past comments.
"Polls show that our unquestioning support of Israel fuels anti-American sentiment in the Arab and Muslim worlds."
If he wins, I am sure that he will get along just fine with Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison.

Democrat Joins Gubernatorial race, Says He’ll Spend $10 Million in Primary
November 19, 2009 by TMO
Houston hair executive Farouk Shami says his focus is stimulating economy.
By Corrie MacLaggan, American Statesman
Houston hair care executive Farouk Shami said Tuesday that he’s definitely running for governor and that he’ll put in $10 million for the Democratic primary alone.
“I am in,” said Shami, 66, a political novice whose company sells CHI hair-straightening irons and BioSilk hair products. “I am 100 percent sure I will be the next governor of Texas.”
Democrat Farouk Shami says he’ll put in $10 million.
For Capitol watchers who weren’t paying close attention to Shami’s declarations in recent months that he was thinking of running, his promise of $10 million of his own money might make them listen.
“Nobody else can begin to say that,” said Chuck Herring, president of the Central Texas Democratic Forum, which hosted Shami at a lunch meeting Tuesday.
As of July, the leading fundraiser in the Democratic primary for governor, former U.S. Ambassador Tom Schieffer, had $454,000 on hand. In the GOP race, Gov. Rick Perry and U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison had $9.3 million and $12.5 million, respectively.
Shami, a native of Palestine who arrived in the United States in 1965 and likes to say he’s “living the American dream,” said he’s planning a formal campaign announcement Nov. 19 at CHI USA in Houston.

TV ad Seeks to Recruit Arab-Americans to CIA
Lets be honest here, this is not about bringing more Arabs into the CIA, this is about bringing more Muslims into the fold. This is about our government agencies bowing down to Muslims and Islam, just like the Labour Party does in the UK. I am sure that Muslims who want to destroy life as we know it, would never think of taking this invitation and infiltrate the CIA. Nah, that could never happen.
TV ad seeks to recruit Arab-Americans to CIA
By JEFF KAROUB
DEARBORN, Mich. – There's a swirl of activity in a spacious, modern kitchen as final meal preparations are made.
An older man tries to swipe a felafel off an appetizer plate but instead gets a loving hand slap from a woman. The happy, well-dressed guests move to a table full of food in a dining room adorned with Middle Eastern wall-hangings.
It's an inviting, if idealized, dinner party scene from any Arab-American home — at least that's what the CIA seeks to convey in the first television commercial of its kind. The agency, in turn, hopes it's an inviting message to U.S. Arabs.
"Your nation, your world," a male voice says with a Middle Eastern accent, as the frame moves outside and pans out to show the party through a window of a gleaming, high-rise building. In seconds, the shot zooms out to an image of the U.S. from space. "They're worth protecting.
"Careers in the CIA."
The commercial, which the agency plans to debut on mainstream and ethnic TV stations and Web sites nationwide within the next few months, represents artistic and technological leaps for the agency. Until now, its print, broadcast and Web advertising has focused on the variety of career options and the diversity among its ranks, but the agency hasn't used a storytelling approach to sell its message.
It's part of an ambitious outreach effort to communities the CIA deems critical to reducing the threat of terrorism in the U.S. The agency has a five-year plan to boost fluency in Arabic and other languages.
But resistance could come from U.S. Arabs who have felt the sting of suspicion since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Many Arabs and Muslims have been dubious of the government's intelligence gathering and believe spying is going on in mosques and other places.
The CIA on Wednesday held a private screening of the commercial and another 30-second spot aimed at recruiting Iranian-Americans. Each drew applause from the group of about 40 people gathered for the viewing in Dearborn, in the heart of Michigan's large Middle Eastern community.
SNIP
"It's important for them to know we understand how important their culture is to them. They're not going to lose that once they walk through the front doors of the CIA to work," said Christina Petrosian, chief of advertising and marketing for agency's recruitment and retention center.

Christian Activists Draw Attention To Rifqa Bary Case At Public Rally
COLUMBUS, Ohio—Dozens of Christian activists descended on Columbus Monday morning to rally in the name of Rifqa Barry, the central Ohio teenager who converted from Islam to Christianity. Bary fled to Florida during the summer, saying she feared her father would kill her because of her conversion.
Bary is now back in Ohio under foster care. Her case is moving through the legal system. A hearing scheduled for Monday was postponed until December 22.
Rally-goers said they are worried about Bary’s safety if she is returned to her parents.
“There is the larger question of, ‘Is Aamerica going to protect religious freedom at this time and allow this girl to make a choice in conscience to be a Christian, rather than a Muslim,“ asked Robert Spencer, a co-organizer of the rally.
A group of Christian activists that traveled to Columbus from Florida wore t-shirts criticizing the Islamic religion. Bary’s parents hope to regain custody.
Investigators in both Ohio and Florida have not found a credible threat to Rifqa Bary’s safety.

My (non) Conversation With Congressman Manzullo's (R-Ill.) Staff Member
This morning I called Congressman's Manzullo's (R-Ill.) Washington office, in regards to his statement that "Islam is a religion of peace." Originally he has speaking about Islamic terrorists and had said this: "These are really, really mean people whose job it is to kill people, driven by some savage religion." Of course he received some complaints and has since apologized. Backing off of his original stance.
I say non-conversation, because he only responded to what he wanted to.
Here is how it went.
CL: Hi, my name is Chris Logan and I am calling in regards to the Congressman's comment about Islam being a religion of peace. I run a site called Islam in Action, that documents the worldwide threat of Islamofascism. Do you mind if I ask you a few quick questions?
Staff Member: OK, sure.
CL: The"Justice" chapter of Reliance of the Traveller
A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law, describes Jihad as the following.
o9.0 JIHAD
(O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and it etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad.
What is so peaceful about that? Please keep in mind that this book has the stamp of approval from Al-Azhar, the highest learning Islamic school in the world. (Sunni)
Staff Member: Ummm......(silence).....sounds like a way of proselytizing. What is your stance on transferring some Gitmo guys here?
CL: Is it a peaceful way? No it is not, and I am only calling about his statement on Islam.
Staff Member: What was your next question?
CL: Koran Verse 9:29 clearly states that Muslims should extort (jizya) Jews and Christians that do not want to convert to Islam.
Staff Member: Is there a way you can email us your research? Go to our site and send it to us.
CL: Will it matter, will I actually get an answer? Also some politicians do not accept emails from citizens outside their constituency. Is your site like that?
Staff Member: Yes, it is. (He offered no alternative email address.)
CL: Let me read something else to you. From the Bukhari Hadiths.
Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."
This is a command to fight on till the entire planet is Islamic or under Islamic rule. While Mohammad can obviously not fight on, his conduct is to be followed by Muslims for all times.
033.021
YUSUFALI: Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.
Staff Member: Listen we are not going to go on a Crusade here.
CL: Where did I say to do that? They can say what ever they want, and preach hatred right on our streets. But when someone says a something about their religion that they do not like, they complain and a lot of times non-Muslims back down. Like the Congressman did. What is happening here is exactly what happened in the UK with Islam. I am saying that Muslim immigration needs to be ended, as they will never stop pushing.
Staff Member: Hmmm....I understand, thanks for your research and for supporting our position.
CL: I already stated that I don't support your position. I support the first statement, before the Congressman backed off.
Staff Member: Sorry I cannot help you, thanks again and take care.
This is just another case of our weak government wishing to remain purposely blind to the harsh reality of Islam.

The Sharia Push in Sweden
As is other European countries such as the Netherlands, and the UK, Muslims are not looking to integrate into Western civilization. Instead they are looking to bring Sharia Law into Western civilization.
This article was sent in by Varjager, a friend in Sweden whose site documents the Islamic threat there.
Varjager.wordpress.com
...............................
Sweden's Muslim Association (SME) is the largest Muslim organization in Sweden, with about 70,000 members. Muslim Association of Sweden is part of the umbrella Muslim Council of Sweden (SMR). They are seriously Muslim-oriented and have a clear agenda, Muslims are supposed to live like Muslims in Sweden, period!
Even the women of Muslim Council of Sweden demands Sharia Laws for Muslim-styled marriages because they can't marry in the Swedish Church! We are a secular country with secular laws and you can even get married at a police-station today, if the police-man is legally permitted to wed.
The goal they have in SMR, Muslim Council of Sweden, is more about protecting Muslims from the Swedish society, rather than promote integration. They just to have to live as Muslims.
Muslim women would themselves deal with marriage issues.
Back to the big topic I want to share with the readers of Christopher Logans brilliant blog, ”Islam In Action”:
Sweden has quite a lot of Muslims in our political parties, all the way up to our highest organ in Sweden, (vår svenska riksdag), the Swedish Parliament, where they are Mps, (riksdagsledamöter).
It's hard to tell if every one of them does, but they do sometimes seem to have a strange way of looking at Swedish political phenomenons. And of course, the Muslims in Sweden as a group are given the privilage to give their opinion when it comes to Islam and Muslim issues, before anyone else.
Too many of them are living in seperate communities and have no intensions nor requirements at all to integrate. We have had several voting- rounds about immigrants in our parliament and the resolutions came out, in short: 'they can choose how and if they want to integrate and what they need from the Swedish society. They are a minority'.
All this weakness from Sweden encourages the muslims, and one big islamic organisation in Sweden wrote an open letter to all swedish parties before the election to parliament year 2006.
The contents of the letter where requirements for Sharia Laws and for a number of other advantages for Muslims. The sender was the chairman of the Muslim Association of Sweden.
The Swedish media barely react, but people, Islam-critics and so called ”critics of the system”,( in swedish; systemkritiker), have talked about this letter since.
Swedish people go to the polls in 2010. And on a Nomination List in a district for maybe become a name of the future electoral list for parliament, stood Mahmoud Aldebe, chairman of the Muslim Association of Sweden. He was a district-canditate for one of our seven big ruling-parties in Sweden, called Centerpartiet, a party in the middle,
Suddenly someone reacted and wrote an article published a swedish tabloid, called Expressen. The author of article was very suspicious about the requirements the chairman of the Muslim Association of Sweden, Mahmoud Aldebe, had written down in the ”open letter”.
This happened a months ago and this Sunday Mahmoud Aldebe wrote to our biggest newsagency called TT, Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå:
”Mahmoud Aldebe, chairman of the Muslim Association of Sweden, drops his candidacy for the Center Party in parliament, he writes in an email to TT. He argued, inter alia, that there are people with Islamophobia within the Party and also in other established Parties, and that he will never feel welcome.
When it became known that Aldebe wanted to stand aroused strong feelings. In an article for just a months ago said Elisabeth Thanda Ringqvist, an expert to Industryminister Maud Olofsson,(Centerpartiet) among other things, that "the Islamists do not belong in C". She reacted to that Aldebe three years ago advocated Sharia Laws.
Aldebe, in turn, reacted against what he considered serious personal attacks and Islamophobic noises, and noted that he previously advocated Sharia Law, but withdrew the requirement.”
Aldebe drop out of the Parliamentary candidacy, Dagens Nyheter
Aldebe hoppar av riksdagskandidatur, Dagens Nyheter
It's Wednesday (11/11) today and I haven't noticed any reactions in any Swedish newspaper more than articles like the one from DN, telling about his decision.
But I am relieved and I think many, many people are too. But the struggle against Sharia Laws and Islamization of Sweden continues, and we vill never give in!
Here are the requirements from 2006, from Muslim Association of Sweden, as a pdf.
You can use Google to translate and get a wink of the requirements , but I can reproduce some of them. The following below is a direct translation using Google Translate:
”To support the establishment of Islamic schools in densely populated areas with many Muslims where Islamic students have the opportunity of teaching in homogeneous groups can enhance students' cultural and religious identity and in this way, many of the problems Muslim students daily encounter easily eliminated such home language, religious education, Muslim food issue, gymnastics question and it may be a concrete way to help boys and girls from Muslim countries to participate in separate swimming and thereby causing the leaving certificate from school.
Many Muslim girls finish their secondary education without being able to swim at all. ”
”Communal Swimming-halls and gym communal should be open to separate evenings for men and boys and one evening for women and girls because:
”In this case, it is among other things that young girls from Muslim countries should get opportunity to participate in swimming, thereby causing a passing grade in physical education. ”
”Including ethical and religious reasons do that Muslim girls should not go swimming with young boys and men.”
”Muslim festivals
That parliament enacts a law that gives Swedish Muslims to be vacant during the Islamic feasts, Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha is required from all Muslims. For the present it is impossible to take time off works to celebrate the feast with the family. ”
As I told before; he wrote an so called ”open letter” to all our political parties and introduce this requirements with following words:
Hello!
If we are to succeed with the involvement Swedish Muslims to participate in elections in September 2006, we should take to heart the following requirements and aspirations of the Muslim minority in Sweden.
I have no way of clear signals from all parties to go to meet this kind of desires. We want to see the most important requirements as part of the political programs. Otherwise there is a risk that the majority of Muslims become non-voters on election day.
Muslims are tired of promises and frustrated desire to have concrete proposals to show that we care. It does not hurt to our political elected or new candidates to engage in an hour and read our open letter sent to all the established parties.
Sincerely
Mahmoud Aldebe

Rep. Donald Manzullo (R-Ill.), Bows to Islam

Lawmaker apologizes after 'savage religion' remark
By Katherine Skiba and Richard Simon
November 18, 2009
Rep. Donald Manzullo (R-Ill.) says his remark about terrorism suspects did not refer to Islam generally.
Reporting from Washington - An Illinois congressman who opposes the idea of moving terrorism suspects to a prison in his district issued a qualified apology Tuesday after a comment that critics viewed as insulting to Islam.
In an interview with television station WREX in Rockford, Ill., Republican Rep. Donald Manzullo said of terrorism suspects: "These are really, really mean people whose job it is to kill people, driven by some savage religion." An aide said Tuesday that Manzullo, who opposes the possibility of housing detainees from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in the Thomson Correctional Center in northwestern Illinois, received about 20 complaints about the remark. The Obama administration has identified Thomson as a possible site for the detainees.
In a statement, Manzullo said he was not referring generally to Islam, but to terrorists who practice a violent, anti-modern version of Islam. He said Islam is a "religion of peace" and that the vast majority of its adherents are "men and women of goodwill."
He added: "Nevertheless, I apologize for any misunderstanding of my comments and I will endeavor in the future to clarify my remarks to make it absolutely clear that America is not opposed to Islam, but that we are fighting terrorists who believe in a savage, perverted, and violent form of Islam."

Military Religious Freedom Foundation: Leading Jew Takes Stand for Islam (Fort Hood related)
I am just curious as to what part of Islam does this man respect, is it this?
Book 041, Number 6985:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
Will Jews and Christians ever stop taking a stand for a religion that calls for their dominance and ultimate destruction?
Advocate for military’s Jews speaking up for Islam in wake of Fort Hood killings
WASHINGTON (JTA) -- Mikey Weinstein is probably best known for defending Jews from alleged bigotry and harassment in the U.S. military. In the past few days, however, he's been raising questions about whether there's an anti-Muslim bias in the service as well.
Weinstein, the founder and president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, says Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's alleged killing of 13 soldiers at Fort Hood is inexcusable and reprehensible. But he also believes it is important to investigate reports of harassment that Hasan allegedly faced as a Muslim in the military -- mistreatment that Weinstein says could have contributed to his mental state.
“There's enough out there” to look into, Weinstein said. “I'm not excusing him, but did it affect him or was he just a maniac to begin with?”
Weinstein cited media reports quoting members of Hasan's family saying that someone had put a diaper in his car and told him, “That's your headdress,” and that a camel was drawn on his car with the words “Camel jockey, get out!”
Weinstein also provided a letter, with the name withheld, from a Muslim woman and wife of a member of the military in which she described how her best friend on the base, immediately after the shooting, told her that “Muslims shouldn't even be allowed in the U.S. Army” and that she repeatedly heard things like “Go back to your country” and “F-ing Muslims” as she shopped at the base commissary.
Weinstein, who spent 10 years in the Air Force as a military attorney, or JAG, said he also doesn't believe reports that Hasan's colleagues hesitated to report his changes in behavior because of political correctness. In fact, he claimed, Hasan's superiors would have been sympathetic to hearing such charges because of their strong Christian beliefs.

Weinstein's last statement completely goes against the facts that have come out. He does not seem to deal in the reality of our politically correct military "leaders".
Hasan Wanted Patients to Face war Crimes Charges
According to past news accounts Islamic terrorist Hasan, stated that the "Infidels Should Have Their Throats cut", and "maybe the Muslims could stand up and fight against the aggressor". Amazingly neither of these statements were enough to have him discharged. The news this morning is even more disturbing, as our brave soldiers were forced to confide with Hasan and he was playing games with their minds. Stating that some of them should be charged with war crimes. Our so called military leaders should be ashamed of themselves, for allowing this to go on.
Fort Hood captain: Hasan wanted patients to face war crimes charges
November 17, 2009
By BROOKS EGERTON / The Dallas Morning News
Dave Michaels and Lee Hancock contributed to this report.
Fort Hood massacre suspect Nidal Malik Hasan sought to have some of his patients prosecuted for war crimes based on statements they made during psychiatric sessions with him, a captain who served on the base said Monday.
Other psychiatrists complained to superiors that Hasan's actions violated doctor-patient confidentiality, Capt. Shannon Meehan told The Dallas Morning News.
One day after the Nov. 5 attack that killed 13 and wounded 29, a Fort Hood official said she had never received complaints about Hasan's job performance. Col. Kimberly Kesling, deputy commander of clinical services at the base's Darnall Army Medical Center, also said he was a "hardworking, dedicated young man who gave great care to his patients."
Fort Hood officials did not respond to interview requests late Monday. They have declined in recent days to say anything about the major, citing the ongoing investigation.
Meehan said he learned of Hasan's prosecution requests from another base psychiatrist. That psychiatrist could not be reached for comment Monday.
The revelations add to a portrait of Hasan as a man at odds with many of those around him – emotionally, religiously and ideologically. He was, by various accounts, lonely, paranoid and increasingly zealous in his fundamentalist Islamic beliefs. He had been writing e-mails to a radical cleric in Yemen who called the U.S. war on terror a "war against Muslims" and advocated killing soldiers.
It wasn't clear Monday what information Hasan received from patients and what became of his requests for prosecution. ABC News, citing anonymous sources, reported that his superiors rejected the requests, and that investigators suspect this triggered the shootings.
Hasan may have been legally justified in reporting what patients disclosed, said Patrick McLain, a Dallas lawyer who specializes in military defense work and is not involved in the Hasan case. But it's impossible to be sure without knowing exactly what they said, he added.
"He was right on his authority to report it," said the ex-Marine, who formerly served as a court-martial judge. The Army teaches all service members that they have a duty to report evidence of war crimes.
Hasan's civilian lawyer in Central Texas, retired Col. John P. Galligan, did not respond to interview requests Monday. His client remains in a San Antonio military hospital, paralyzed from the waist down by police gunfire and facing premeditated murder charges.
Pain and guilt
Meehan, the Fort Hood captain, expressed skepticism with Hasan's requests that patients be prosecuted. "They're going in there confessing their pain and their guilt," he said, describing soldiers' postwar visits to therapists. "He's trying to turn it into a war crime."

3 Star Gen.: Army was Afraid to Deal With Hasan Because he is a Muslim~Video
General Casey obviously does not have the guts to speak the truth about the Islamic terrorist attack on Fort Hood. But retired Army three-star Gen. Jerry Boykin, pulls no punches in this short interview. Here is an excerpt from the video.

Islamic Nations Seek Legally Binding Way to Counter Criticism of Islam
Thankfully non-Muslims of the world are slowly waking up to the threat that Islam brings to freedom loving nations. While most of the readers of this site are obviously happy with this, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is not. They are now pushing forward in attempt to try and make it against international law to criticize Islam. As they know that if we cannot name our enemy, we cannot defeat it. In the past the OIC was able to get the United Nations to ban all criticism of Islam in regards to human rights. Will they be able to pull this off? With the UN involved, this is very possible.

Islamic Nations Seek Legally Binding Way to Counter Religious ‘Defamation’
Monday, November 16, 2009
By Patrick Goodenough, International Editor
(CNSNews.com) – As support wanes for its campaign to secure controversial but non-binding “defamation of religion” resolutions at the United Nations, the Islamic bloc is pushing ahead with an alternative route – one that would carry the weight of international law.
The OIC is now attempting to have a key U.N. panel amend an existing international treaty to encompass supposedly religiously defamatory speech.
Unlike the resolutions, changing the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) to cover religion would be legally enforceable.
The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has for the past decade overseen the passage of non-binding resolutions at the U.N. General Assembly and human rights bodies.
Last week, the most recent effort passed in the General Assembly’s Third Committee, which deals with social, cultural, and humanitarian issues. It will go before the full General Assembly for a vote next month, but the committee vote indicates a continuing, measurable decline in support.
Eighty-one countries voted for the resolution, 55 opposed it and 43 abstained. The result showed less support for and more opposition against the resolution than for those introduced by the OIC over the last three years. (see graph)
As in past years, most support came from the 57-member OIC (although two members, Burkina Faso, and Cameroon, abstained) plus non-Muslim allies in the developing world, led by China, Russia, Cuba and Venezuela.
Comparisons of voting records from 2006 to date reveal a continuing erosion of support in Latin America. Chile, Mexico, Panama, Uruguay all voted against the OIC-led resolution this year, having abstained in 2008. Elsewhere, Lesotho and Sri Lanka were among those who moved from supporting the resolution in 2008, to abstaining this year.
The OIC argues that religion needs to be protected from “defamation” – acts such as the publication of newspaper cartoons satirizing Mohammed, or the suggestion that the Koran promotes violence against non-Muslims.
Although its resolutions purport to cover all religions, Islam is the only one cited by name. The text passed by the Third Committee voices concern that “Islam is frequently and wrongly associated with human rights violations and terrorism.”
The OIC campaign has been confronted by freedom of expression advocates who say the bloc is trying to shield Islam, its teachings, practices, institutions and leaders, from legitimate criticism or scrutiny.
Critics say defamation prohibitions should cover individuals, not religions. They charge that resolution proponents are trying to introduce in Western societies similar restrictions to those enforced in some Islamic countries, where converts from Islam or those with dissident views risk trial for apostasy or blasphemy.
‘Binding normative standards’
Unlike the nonbinding U.N. resolutions, the OIC’s alternative strategy proposes to develop “new binding normative standards relating to religious ideas, objects and positions,” including “legal prohibition of publication of materials that negatively stereotypes, insults or uses of offensive language on matters regarded by followers of any religion or belief as sacred.”

UK: Islamists 'promote jihad in jail'
Just like the hatred that is being preached in the UK Sharia Courts, the hatred stemming from Islam is circulating throughout the UK prison system. This is no surprise though, but if this were not such a serious issue this article could be deemed comical. The authorities have stated that they have it all under control. Meanwhile hate preaching Muslims are actually getting themselves on Islamic TV shows while still in prison. Does reality exist anymore over there?

Islamists 'promote jihad in jail'
Radical Muslims are spreading extremist propaganda and promoting jihad from inside UK jails, a report has claimed.
Counter-extremism think tank the Quilliam Foundation said radicals were also being allowed to lead prayers.
And its report said extremist cleric Abu Qatada had issued fatwas from Long Lartin prison in Worcestershire where he is awaiting deportation.
The Ministry of Justice said it had a dedicated unit to tackle the risk of extremism and radicalisation in prison.
Messages released
The Quilliam Foundation said the study, to be published on Monday, was based largely on accounts sneaked out of prisons by high-profile extremists.
The report said: "Prominent pro al-Qaeda ideologues such as Abu Qatada have been able to smuggle messages out of prison to their supporters.
"Other convicted extremists have issued pro-jihadist statements from prison while others have appeared on Islamic TV stations from within prison.
"In 2008 and 2009, two of the most prominent Arab jihadists imprisoned in the UK released pro-jihadist propaganda and fatwas from within Long Lartin prison.
"Adel Abdel Bary, a leader of Egyptian Islamic Jihad, produced written pro-jihadist tracts from within prison aiming to refute criticism of al-Qaeda, while Abu Qatada issued fatwas from within prison which legitimised jihadist attacks worldwide."
Mid-Worcestershire MP Peter Luff, whose constituency includes Long Lartin, plans to raise the report's findings with Home Secretary Alan Johnson and Justice Secretary Jack Straw.
'Deeply dangerous'
Mr Luff said: "In my view the courts have, in the past, failed to protect us by allowing the release of dangerous individuals from Long Lartin and other prisons, and by delaying the deportation of many others.
"While these deeply dangerous men remain in British custody, we must be absolutely confident that they can do no harm - and these revelations suggest we cannot be confident of that.
"The government must move quickly to address the exceptionally serious issues this report raises."
The Ministry of Justice said the Quilliam Foundation did not contact the department and did not apply to visit any jails or speak to prison staff.
A spokeswoman said: "We are extremely skilled in managing all challenging and dangerous criminals, and adapting to evolving risks and dangers.
"We run a dedicated, expert unit which leads work to tackle the risk of extremism and radicalisation in prison.
"All our high-security prisons operate enhanced monitoring and intelligence-gathering on those convicted or suspected of involvement in terrorism or extremism."

Wyoming Tribune Eagle's Misinformation on Islam~Corrected!
In the wake of the Islamic terrorist attack on Fort Hood, we continue to see numerous media outlets spreading misinformation about Islam. Today it is the Wyoming Tribune Eagle. Lets make the appropriate corrections.
Local Muslims condemn acts of violence in name of their religion
By Baylie Evans
CHEYENNE - One local Muslim, Mohamed Salih, is clear in his feelings toward the Muslim man who allegedly went on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood last week. He deserves to be at the "bottom of the biggest hell," Salih said.
There is a misconception among many non-Muslims that Islam, the religion that Muslims follow, encourages hate and violence. Really, it teaches the opposite, he said.
"(Violence) has no place in this religion," he said. "There is no god out there that would accept killing innocent people."
If you want to get technical Mohamed, under Islamic Law those murdered at Fort Hood were not "innocent people".
From the "Justice" chapter of Reliance of the Traveller
A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law
THE RULES OF WARFARE
o9.10
It is not permissible (A: in jihad) to kill women or children unless they are fighting against the Muslims. Nor is it permissible to kill animals, unless they are being ridden into battle against the Muslims, or if killing them will help defeat the enemy. It is permissible to kill old men (O: old man (shaykh) meaning someone more than forty years of age) and monks.
If I recall correctly the US Military is fighting against Muslims, in Afghanistan, Iraq, and sometimes Pakistan and Somalia. So there goes your "innocent" con..
And while non-Muslims can misunderstand Islam, so too can Muslims themselves.
Any person who commits an act of violence in name of Islam gravely misunderstands the religion, Salih said. Terrorists have misunderstood the Islamic duty of jihad, which means struggle.
The "greater jihad" is within one's self, Salih said, against egos and evil within. The "lesser jihad" means actions to defend one's self and family.
Or this Muslim can be lying.
o9.0 JIHAD
(O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and it etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad.
Now an Islamic woman comes into the article.
Even nations can blur the line between religion and politics, Arshi Nisley, another local Muslim, added.
In some Islamic countries, women are not allowed to own property, divorce or have the same rights as men. But the religion allows women equal treatment and rights.
"I don't think that's religion at all," Nisley said. "I think that's politics."
It appears that this woman does not truly know much about Islam.
From the "Relations Between a Husband and Wives" chapter of Reliance of the Traveller
A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law
PERMITTING ONE'S WIFE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE
m10.3 (A: A husband may permit his wife to leave the house for a lesson in Sacred Law, for the invocation of Allah (dhikr), to see her female friends, or to go to any place in the town. A woman may not leave the city without her husband or a member of her unmarriageabe kin (def: m6.2) accompanying her, unless the journey is obligatory, like the hajj. It is unlawful for her to travel otherwise, and unlawful for her husband to allow her to.)
m10.4 The husband may forbid his wife to leave the home (O: because of the hadith related by Bayhaqi that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said,
"It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to allow someone into her husband's house if he is opposed or to go out if he is averse")
These rulings are just part of the discrimination against women under Islam.
SNIP
Both Salih and Nisley said they haven't encountered hostility from the local community. In fact, they've felt welcomed. Salih has worked hard to try to educate people about Islam. Violent acts by Muslims set his efforts back, he said.
The religion is already misunderstood by many, and every time a Muslim kills in the name of Islam, it undoes the work that many have done to dispel myths and misinformation. The Fort Hood shooter hurt Muslims twice, Salih said: their country and their religion.
Actually the entire article published in the Wyoming Tribune Eagle was full of misinformation. Maybe the author should do some actual research next time, and there is no need to thank me for the corrections. It was my pleasure.

Houston spiritual center among U.S. buildings federal prosecutors link to Iran
By MOISES MENDOZA, MARY FLOOD and LINDSAY WISE
The U.S. government on Thursday moved to seize more than $500 million in assets from a New York-based foundation accused of being a front for the Iranian government, including a building that houses the Islamic Education Center of Houston.
The news provoked confusion and anger among Houston's Shia Muslims, many of whom worship at the center's mosque or send their children to an Islamic school that occupies the same large white building at 2313 S. Voss.
Faheem Kazimi, chairman of the board of directors, said IEC leases its building from the Alavi Foundation but no other connection exists.
“The Islamic Education Center is a nonprofit, independent organization, not affiliated with any other organization,” Kazimi said.
He refused to answer any other questions Thursday evening.
The 97-page civil forfeiture lawsuit filed by federal prosecutors in Manhattan alleges that the Alavi Foundation, which files federal taxes as a charitable foundation, is illegally funneling money to the government of Iran.
The U.S. government has accused Iran of financing terrorist organizations and trying to build nuclear weapons. There are no allegations of wrongdoing against those who work and worship at the Houston mosque.
"No action has been taken against any tenants or occupants of those properties," said Yusill Scribner, a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. "There are no allegations of any wrongdoing on the part of any of these tenants or occupants."
The foundation released a written statement through an attorney, saying the group was disappointed with the government's legal move.
SNIP
Citing U.S. policy under several presidents and the International Emergency Economic Power Act, the civil suit alleges that the foundation's property, which includes the Islamic Education Center, is forfeitable as proceeds of violations of laws including money laundering.
The indictment alleges how the Alavi Foundation has been providing services to Iran and the government-owned Bank Melli. The suit also alleges how shell corporations were used to dodge taxes and how a foundation official was arrested for allegedly destroying documents being sought in a grand jury investigation.
The U.S. Treasury has accused Bank Melli of providing support for Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
The civil suit seeks forfeiture of a 36-story New York City office tower along with other property in New York, California, Virginia, Maryland and several bank accounts. This lawsuit replaces one prosecutors filed in 2008 seeking forfeiture of only a portion of the New York City office tower.

‘Somewhat of a surprise'
Distraught worshippers milled around the center Thursday. Several guarded the gated entrance, shooing away reporters who tried to approach. A few women peeked out windows at the television satellite trucks and cameras and then looked away.
Farouk Abdulghani said he has three boys who attend the center's Islamic school.
“I know for a fact this center has not done anything wrong or suspicious,” Abdulghani said.
The allegations were “somewhat of a surprise,” he said, “but you're always expecting something like this. Muslims always feel they're on the defensive.”
Abdulghani added that he's worried about the consequences for his community and his children.
“It's really upsetting,” he said. “I don't want my kids to lose their school because of something like this.”
Hussein Abdi said he moved to the U.S. from Iran more than 30 years ago and he's been worshipping at IEC for two decades. He came Thursday to pray.
“It makes me furious,” Abdi said. “We're under attack.”

CA: Muslim in Mall Tears Crucifix From Christian's Neck

Man arrested for 'anti-Christian' mall disturbance
Kiosk employee allegedly tore a crucifix from someone's neck
by Emily West
Police arrested 22-year-old Abdul Walid Hamid of Hayward on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 4, after he reportedly tore a crucifix from a person's neck and scared others at Stoneridge Shopping Center.
Hamid, an employee at a mall kiosk near Starbucks, has been charged with battery, terrorist threats and grand theft.
According to reports, Hamid was yelling "Allah is power" and "Islam is great" while holding a pen in a fist over his head. Witnesses said he shouted anti-Christian comments, said police.
Lt. Mike Elerick of the Pleasanton Police Department said the man was not provoked and didn't threaten violence, but he committed robbery when he grabbed and broke a crucifix off someone's neck.
Coworkers told police that Hamid's actions were out of the ordinary and that he had worked at the kiosk for years.
Police also said they weren't aware of a prior criminal history for the man.
"We had multiple people calling 911," Elerick said. "One female was crouching down and hiding from him. He definitely scared quite a few people."
Elerick said much of the man's speech was similar to the loud scene of the Christian activists who frequent downtown Pleasanton. The big difference, however, was that Hamid was on private property and had physical contact with someone.
"Mall management has the option of making a citizen's arrest on anybody and asking someone to remove themselves for any reason," he said. "If there was no physical contact between Hamid and the customers, with just his actions alone, the mall would have asked that he be removed."
Hamid was reportedly not cooperating and was arrested by force and taken to John George Psychiatric Pavilion in San Leandro for an evaluation. Police said the case would be forwarded to the District Attorney's Office for review and possible charges.

Feds Move to Seize 4 US Mosques, Tower Linked to Iran
The war with Islam, on US soil goes on and on. Thankfully the Feds are starting to fight back!
Feds move to seize 4 mosques, tower linked to Iran
By ADAM GOLDMAN
NEW YORK — Federal prosecutors took steps Thursday to seize four U.S. mosques and a Fifth Avenue skyscraper owned by a nonprofit Muslim organization long suspected of being secretly controlled by the Iranian government.
In what could prove to be one of the biggest counterterrorism seizures in U.S. history, prosecutors filed a civil complaint in federal court against the Alavi Foundation, seeking the forfeiture of more than $500 million in assets.
The assets include bank accounts; Islamic centers consisting of schools and mosques in New York City, Maryland, California and Houston; more than 100 acres in Virginia; and a 36-story glass office tower in New York.
Confiscating the properties would be a sharp blow against Iran, which has been accused by the U.S. government of bankrolling terrorism and trying to build a nuclear bomb.
A telephone call and e-mail to Iran's U.N. Mission seeking comment were not immediately answered. Nor was a call to the Alavi Foundation.
It is extremely rare for U.S. law enforcement authorities to seize a house of worship, a step fraught with questions about the First Amendment right to freedom of religion.
The action against the Shiite Muslim mosques is sure to inflame relations between the U.S. government and American Muslims, many of whom are fearful of a backlash after last week's Fort Hood shooting rampage, blamed on a Muslim American major.
The mosques and the skyscraper will remain open while the forfeiture case works its way through court in what could be a long process. What will happen to them if the government ultimately prevails is unclear. But the government typically sells properties it has seized through forfeiture, and the proceeds are sometimes distributed to crime victims.
Prosecutors said the Alavi Foundation managed the office tower on behalf of the Iranian government and, working with a front company known as Assa Corp., illegally funneled millions in rental income to Iran's state-owned Bank Melli. Bank Melli has been accused by a U.S. Treasury official of providing support for Iran's nuclear program, and it is illegal in the United States to do business with the bank.
The U.S. has long suspected the foundation was an arm of the Iranian government; a 97-page complaint details involvement in foundation business by several top Iranian officials, including the deputy prime minister and ambassadors to the United Nations.
"For two decades, the Alavi Foundation's affairs have been directed by various Iranian officials, including Iranian ambassadors to the United Nations, in violation of a series of American laws," U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said in a statement.
There were no raids Thursday as part of the forfeiture action. The government is simply required to post notices of the civil complaint on the property.
As prosecutors outlined their allegations against Alavi, the Islamic centers and the schools they run carried on with normal activity. The mosques' leaders had no immediate comment.
Parents lined up in their cars to pick up their children at the schools within the Islamic Education Center of Greater Houston and the Islamic Education Center in Rockville, Md. No notices of the forfeiture action were posted at either place as of late Thursday.
At the Islamic Institute of New York, a mosque and school in Queens, two U.S. marshals came to the door and rang the bell repeatedly. The marshals taped a forfeiture notice to the window and left a large document sitting on the ground. After they left a group of men came out of the building and took the document.
The fourth Islamic center marked for seizure is in Carmichael, Calif.
The skyscraper, known as the Piaget building, was erected in the 1970s under the shah of Iran, who was overthrown in 1979. The tenants include law and investment firms and other businesses.
The sleek, modern building, last valued at $570 million to $650 million in 2007, has served as an important source of income for the foundation over the past 36 years. The most recent tax records show the foundation earned $4.5 million from rents in 2007.
Rents collected from the building help fund the centers and other ventures, such as sending educational literature to imprisoned Muslims in the U.S. The foundation has also invested in dozens of mosques around the country and supported Iranian academics at prominent universities.
If federal prosecutors seize the skyscraper, the Alavi Foundation would have almost no way to continue supporting the Islamic centers, which house schools and mosques. That could leave a major void in Shiite communities, and hard feelings toward the FBI.
The forfeiture action comes at a tense moment in U.S.-Iranian relations, with the two sides at odds over Iran's nuclear program and its arrest of three American hikers.
But Michael Rubin, an expert on Iran at the American Enterprise Institute, said the timing of the forfeiture action was probably a coincidence, not an effort to influence Iran on those issues.
"Suspicion about the Alavi Foundation transcends three administrations," Rubin said. "It's taken ages dealing with the nuts and bolts of the investigation. It's not the type of investigation which is part of any larger strategy."

MA: Muslims Pack Courtroon in Support of Alleged Islamic Terrorist
Just as Muslims turned in massive support for the Detroit Imam who was shot dead by the FBI, they have packed the courtroom in support of an American Muslim accused of wanting to open fire on mall shoppers. They stick together, while we fight amongst ourselves over whether there really is an Islamic threat or not. This needs to change.

Supporters of Sudbury terror suspect pack courtroom
About a hundred supporters of a Sudbury terror suspect, including children wearing T-shirts that read “Justice for Tarek,” packed a federal courtroom this morning where his lawyer argued for the man’s release on house arrest.
Magistrate Judge Leo T. Sorokin took the matter under advisement and will issue a decision about whether Tarek Mehanna, 27, should be released on bail at a later date.
The hearing drew supporters from all over New England and ranged from close friends of the accused terror suspect to people who read about Mehanna’s plight on a Web site launched by his brother, Tamer, on freetarek.com
“I know him. He’s a very nice guy. He’s my best brother,” said Arben Xhemalallari, of Worcester, who brought his daughter, Madinah, 8, to court. The little girl is a student of Mehanna’s at the Worcester Islamic Center.
“I disagree with everything I’ve read about him,” said Xhemalallari, who took off from his job at Table Top Pies to go to court. “I will find time for him because that’s how much I love him.”
Mehanna and co-defendant Ahmad Abousmra, 28, are accused of plotting with an associate to attack shopping malls and assassinate two unidentified government officials. The associate cooperated with the government’s probe into Mehanna and Abousmra, who lives in Syria.
Mehanna and Abousmra, each face a 10-count indictment alleging they provided material support to terrorists, conspired to kill in a foreign country and lied to federal investigators.
Defense attorney J.W. Carney Jr., said federal investigators charged Mehanna after he repeatedly refused requests from the FBI to become an informant. He told Mehanna’s supporters he’d never seen such a showing outpouring for a client.
“They wanted him to become an informant but he wouldn’t,” said Carney.
Prosecutors have portrayed Mehanna, a trained pharmacist, as an extremist who reveled in the death of American soldiers overseas and once expressed that “Texas BBQ” was a better way to handle a rape allegation against an American soldier than the judicial system.

Columnist S. Chapman: US Soldiers Might Have Driven Hasan to Terrorism
Columnist Steve Chapman who bills himself as "solving the world's problems one post as at time", has written this truly ignorant article about the Islamic attack on Fort Hood.
Islam and Fort Hood
By Steve Chapman
Conservatives have been quick to trumpet the fact that the alleged killer at Fort Hood, Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, is a Muslim--the implication being that Muslims are inherently untrustworthy, hostile to America, at odds with civilized norms of behavior or something. But if that were the case, incidents like this would be common, not rare. It would be absurd and dangerous to anathematize all American Muslims on the basis of one alleged murderer.
Has Steve been in a coma for the last few months? Obviously he missed all of the arrests of American Muslims and terror plots that have been broken up. This is besides that hate that is being preached against America. Here is a recent recap.
We have the Islamos of NY based RevolutionMuslim.com preaching their hatred on the streets every week. The shootout with the now dead Detroit Imam who had a crew of Sharia loving Muslims, a US Muslim stating that homosexuals should be killed under Sharia Law, Boston Muslims that were plotting to open fire on random mall shoppers,, and there was also three other Islamic terror plots uncovered in one day here in America.
Are these actions not hostile to America Steve? Try and pay attention.
On top of his ignorance, Steve has the nerve to imply that the non-Muslim soldiers might have driven Hasan to turn into an Islamic terrorist.
It may be that Hasan subscribed to a jihadist ideology that drove him to kill his fellow soldiers. But it could be that Islam is just a distraction from more fundamental problems, such as insanity or just plain viciousness. Hasan reportedly complained of being harassed by his colleagues about his religion. Maybe he didn't think Islam was hostile to America; maybe they convinced him that America is hostile to Islam.
The Islamic victim card is pretty pathetic and part of the reason that the problems that stem from Islam are now in our backyard.
In his closing paragraph Steve goes into the full defense mode for Islam.
In any movement, religious or political, there are a few dangerous people. As a rule, all that proves about the movement in question is that it is composed of human beings. If it turns out Hasan is guilty, Islam is not the problem with him any more than Jodie Foster was the problem with John Hinckley.
Please point out any other religious or political movement that is causing problems across the world, like Islam is. You cannot Mr. Chapman.
His last sentence is some statement. So all of those Islamic warning signs, that have come to light have nothing to do with Islam? Obviously Steve finds life more comforting in fantasy land. Because what has has written in not the reality. People like Steve will never solve this problem, as he is part of it.
