UK: Welsh, “We Are Happy Living With Muslims”

Even though UK Muslims are hellbent on subjugating the UK under Sharia Law, hundreds of Welsh have taken it to the streets in support of Islam.

Judging by the quotes below, they have no idea what Islam really is. No surprise though, coming from the left.

“We Are Happy Living With Muslims”

CAIRO – Hundreds of Welsh in the coastal city of Swansea are standing side by side with their Muslim neighbours and friends against attempts by far-rightists to paint them as the enemy within.

“We are happy to live together with the Muslim community,” Leanne Woods, National Assembly member for Plaid Cymru (Party of Wales), told the Wales Online on Sunday, October 18.

“We are not prepared to accept divisive and hate-based politics on our streets.”

Hundreds of Swansea residents gathered around Castle Square on Saturday, October 17, to counter an anti-Muslim march by the Welch Defence League (WDL).

“This is the first time they have come to Wales and a lot of people from different organisations have come out to say far-right extremism isn’t acceptable on the streets of Swansea,” asserted Woods.

The WDL had called the march to protest what they called the influence of “extreme Islam” in Wales.

Its supporters chanted anti-Muslim slogans with participants making Nazi salutes, with one of them arrested for a racially-aggravated public order offence.

“My first reaction to the WDL is who are they defending us against?” wonder Keith Ross, one of the organizers of the counter demo.

“I don’t need to be defended against Muslims.”

Wales is a country that is part of the United Kingdom with a population estimated at three million.

Islam is the largest non-Christian religion in Wales, with over 30,000 reported Muslims in the 2001 census.

Intolerance

Many Swansea residents accused the WDL of fuelling hatred and intolerance in their community.

"It is worrying, the intolerance," said Darren Cadwallader, a resident.

"One of the things I love about St Helen's Road is the diversity."

Ross, the organizer, agrees.

“I’m sad that the WDL has made a public call for no more mosques, which is a breach of human rights,” he asserted.

This Ross guy has no clue as to what rights will be lost under Islamic rule.

UK Muslims:Accept Islam or Sharia, or......Video

Leading UK Muslim Anjem Choudary who had recently stated that Islam is at war with the UK, has now invited the non-Muslims of the UK to Islam. If they do not want to accept Islam, Sharia Law is the next offer. If these offers are rejected by the non-Muslims there, then under Islam Muslims have the right to wage a holy war.

Umar who (himself) was among the raiding troops.

Swiss Bishops Reject Minaret Ban

Recently in America we have seen some Churches step up and speak out against Islam. In Europe though, we are seeing the opposite. Major Church leaders in the UK actually supported the opening of the Sharia Courts there. This time Swiss Bishops are taking a stand for Islamic minarets. Which if built will be a sign of Islamic dominance. Apparently they are ready to bow down to Islam.

Swiss Bishops Reject Minaret Ban

GENEVA – Joining the chorus of voices opposing a minaret ban, Switzerland’s Roman Catholic bishops have urged voters to reject a far-right campaign to ban minaret construction in the country.

"A general ban on minaret construction would hurt needed efforts to create a two-way welcoming attitude of dialogue and respect," the Swiss Bishops’ Conference said in a statement cited by Agence France-Presse on Thursday, September 10.

"Fear serves as a poor counsellor in this matter."

Swiss voters will vote next month in a referendum championed by the far-right Swiss People’s Party (SVP) to ban the building of minarets in Switzerland.

The far-right party has pushed for the poll, collecting more than the 100,000 signatures needed under the constitution to hold a referendum.

The SVP claims that a minaret is not necessary for worship but is rather a symbol of Islamic law which is incompatible with Switzerland's legal system.

The SVP campaign has caused an outcry in the Swiss political world, with the government denouncing it as unconstitutional and discriminatory.

The centre-right Free Democratic Party (FDP) has also attacked the idea, saying it would only compound "unfounded" fears against the country's Muslims.

Amnesty International has further blasted the proposed minaret ban, warning the drive aims to exploit fears of Muslims and encourage xenophobia for political gains.

European Human Rights Conference to Combat Discrimination Against Muslims

Yes, you read the title correctly. Apparently the intolerance of Islam is allowed across Europe, and basically Europe is silent about it, as no one wants to "offend" Muslims. Now a European human rights conference wants to ensure that Muslims are protected, even as Europe falls to Islam.

Europe's largest human rights conference to take place 28 September - 9 October 2009.

The 2009 Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM), organized by the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), will take place in Warsaw, Poland, 28 September to 9 October.

The HDIM is Europe's largest human rights conference and is a forum where representatives from government, civil society and international organizations discuss the implementation of OSCE commitments in the human dimension. It is the single most important yearly OSCE event focusing on human rights and democracy in Europe, North America, and Central Asia. OSCE will review how and to what extent governments in the region have put their human rights and democracy commitments into practice.


OSCE commitments to combat intolerance and discrimination and promote mutual respect and understanding will be discussed on 5 October. During this session ODIHR intends to present an advanced version of its annual hate crime report and draft guidelines for educators to combat intolerance and discrimination against Muslims.
