Al Qaeda Gives Obama Conditions for Truce

In the past President Bush had turned down this offer for a "truce" with Al Qaeda. Will the Islamic loving President Obama do the same?

Qaeda tells Obama conditional truce offer stands

DUBAI (Reuters) - Al Qaeda's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahri said a truce offered to the last U.S. administration was still on the table, but President Barack Obama must withdraw troops from Muslim lands and meet other demands.

"If Obama wants to (reach) an understanding then he should respond to Sheikh Osama (bin Laden's) two offers," Zawahri said in an interview with al Qaeda's media arm As-sahab, posted on an Islamist website on Monday.

Zawahri warned that militants would continue to fight "until doomsday" unless their conditions were met. "The minimum the mujahideen would accept (includes) ... the exit of infidel troops from all of the land of Islam and an end to stealing Muslims' wealth under the threat of military power."

Zawahri said the conditions also include that Western countries stop backing "corrupt and apostate regimes in the Muslim world" and the release of all detained Muslims.

The "fair offers" bin Laden had made to the United States and European nations were meant "for them to stop their aggression against Muslims and start a relationship that is based on interests instead of oppression and looting," said the Egyptian militant in the 90-minute interview.

"(But) they insist that the relationship should be based on oppressing us and doing us injustice," he said.

NC Islamic Center was Warned About Terror Suspects!

Earlier this year NY politician Peter King stated that there was a lack of effort when it came to US Muslims and them cooperating with the authorities. Well it appears that case might just be a perfect example of this. In a past article Mosque leaders made these comments.

"A spokesman at the Islamic Center in Raleigh said he did not know the suspects...."

A leader from a Durham Mosque stated.

"In our dealings, we found them to be people of good moral character," said Hisham Heda, board chairman at the Durham mosque

But now a brave US Muslim has come out and said that he had personally warned the Mosque about the terror suspects and the Mosque leaders just swept it under the rug.

Acquaintance claims he warned Islamic Center of terrorism suspects
Aug. 2 6:38 p.m.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Humza Ismail, who lived in Raleigh for a brief period of time, claimed during a recent interview with CNN that he warned the Islamic Center of Raleigh about two Triangle men facing terrorism charges.

During the interview, Ismail said he worshiped at the same mosque as the suspects, Mohammad Omar Aly Hassan, 22, and Ziyad Yaghi, 21. In group discussions, the men talked about suicide bombing, Ismail said.

"When it came to something like suicide bombing, they would say, 'If it's a benefit for the Muslims, then something like that can be permissible,'" Ismail told CNN.

"I could tell it was something they wanted to do,” he added. "They never indicated or said, 'We are going to make jihad overseas.'"

Hassan and Yaghi were among eight people with Triangle ties indicted on Monday on charges they plotted a series of terrorist attacks overseas and secured weapons and trained in North Carolina.

Ismail said he disagreed with views expressed by Hassan and Yaghi and raised concerns to officials at the Islamic Center of Raleigh. He said his concerns were overlooked by center officials.

“Those were his personal opinions,” Imran Aukhil, of the center at 3020 Ligon St., said Sunday in response to Ismail's claims.

Aukhil said he could not speak of any complaints against Hassan or Yaghi. However, he did confirm that several years ago the center filed a complaint against a person at the mosque with the FBI.

He said the center's officials believe that they have an obligation to report significant threats of violence.

"Rogue comments that are made by individuals are handled on a case-by-case basis. We handle every case, every violent crime or every threat as necessary,” Aukhil said.

Florida Anti-Islam Church Steps it up a Notch!

Just days ago the terrorist supporters from the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), complained about the anti-Islam signs outside of the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainsville Florida. Not only did the Church not take down the original signs, they have bravely added another one.

Just for the record, each time the Church put up a sign, the liberal Gainsville Sun went running to CAIR for answers. Obviously they have done no research on CAIR or Islam. They have even banned me from leaving comments on their site.

New Dove World Outreach sign again takes aim at Islam
A violent verse from the Quran is displayed, but an Islamic expert says the church's sign does not use the common wording and is taken out of context.

A new sign paraphrasing a quote from the Quran has been placed in front of the Dove World Outreach Center in northwest Gainesville, where an earlier anti-Islamic sign has stirred protests.

The new sign reads "Koran 9:5 Kill the disbelievers wherever you find them." It joins a series of signs that read "Islam is of the devil," which were placed in front of the church recently.

A church pastor could not be reached Friday for comment.

Ramzy Kilic, Tampa's executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who met Tuesday with Dove World Senior Pastor Terry Jones, said the new sign's message is not the common wording on that Quran verse and added it has been isolated from a broader context.

"Anyone, Muslim or non-Muslim, can take a verse, isolate it and almost formulate it to an idea they want to convey," Kilic said. "When you take something out of context, you are not appreciating the true message of the religion."

Kilic added, "With the sign, it seems like (Jones) is antagonizing Muslims and wants to continue spreading a message of hate."

Jones told The Sun in July that the initial sign was "an act of saying there is only one way, and that is actually what Christianity is about. It is about pointing the people in the right direction, and that right direction is Jesus and only Jesus."

Jones called the sign a "great act of love."

Arabs Fill the Bill in Dearborn Michigan Elections

Once more Muslims get into a positions of power in Dearborn, we will see them throw their weight around to advance their Islamic agenda. Just like they did at the last Dearborn Arab International Festival.

Get out and vote!
07.31.2009

Voters go to the polls next Tuesday, August 4, for the city of Dearborn's primary election. Twenty five candidates will vie for 14 spots on the ballot in the November 3 general election, when seven of them will be voted in to seats on the city council. An unprecedented eight candidates are of Arab descent in the city council primary. This is an unprecedented number of Arab American candidates and it would be a shame if turnout is low. Dearborn's races for mayor and city clerk are not included in the primary this year.

There is a lot of fresh blood on the ballot this year as well as four reliable incumbents who have shown they care about the Arab American community. The Arab American News urges everyone to get out and vote. Polls are open August 4 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. With pleasure The Arab American News endorses the following candidates. We recommend voters choose seven out of the following ten.

UK Muslim Goes on Pro-Sharia Rant Against US and UK~Video

Judging from his voice I would have to say that this is UK Mulim Abu Waleed, who goes on an absolute pro-Sharia rant. For those who think that I am over blowing this problem, listen to the tone in his voice. What they have in store for non-Muslims will be a living nightmare.

Pakistan:Christian Village Torched, 6 Dead

The violence in Pakistan is endless. Problems there recently include the eruption after the Sharia for "peace" deal in the Swat Valley, and the attack on a 5 star hotel . This country is just bottomless pit for US aid and we should cut them off immediately. The money can be used for better things.

6 Pakistani Christians die in riots with Muslims
By MUNIR AHMED and ASIF SHAHZAD

ISLAMABAD — Days of rioting between Christians and Muslims in eastern Pakistan following allegations that a Quran was defiled escalated Saturday, leaving six Christians dead, including a child, authorities said.

Members of a banned Muslim organization began torching Christian homes in the Punjabi city of Gorja on Thursday after accusing them of desecrating pages from Islam's holy book, Federal Minister for Minorities Shahbaz Bhatti said.

"There is no truth in the allegation," he told The Associated Press, adding that he had himself visited Gojra on Friday and asked police to provide protection to Christians who were facing threats.

He accused the police of ignoring his instructions and said hundreds of radical Muslims on Saturday burned more Christians homes and killed six, including four women and a child.

Television footage from the scene showed houses burning and streets strewn with debris and blackened furniture as mobs ran at each other
. Local media also reported gunfights had broken out between Christian and Muslim communities and that rioters had blocked the local railway line.

Pakistan is predominantly a Sunni Muslim state where Christians are a tiny minority. Although the two sides generally live peacefully, since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in the U.S., pro-Taliban militants have periodically targeted churches and Christians, suspecting them of sympathizing with Washington.

Bhatti said the attackers belonged to the banned Sipah-e-Sahaba group, which is accused of launching attacks against the security forces and carrying out bombs attacks at public places in the country in recent years.

Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah said authorities had investigated the allegation of a Quran being defaced "and our initial reports say that there has not been any incident of desecration."

Sanaullah said that although the situation had calmed down by Friday, "some miscreants and extremists entered the city today and pushed people toward armed clashes."

Another minister, Dost Mohammad Khosa, said the issue of the alleged desecration had been settled.

"Today, somebody opened fire at a peaceful rally that was passing by a Christian neighborhood. That made things worse. We are sure some miscreant elements have tried to exploit the situation," he said.

Faislabad Commissioner Tahir Hussain told local television that representatives of the two communities were to meet later Saturday in an effort to calm the situation.
