Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch was on FOX News this morning, discussing the Islamic conversions of US inmates . When Mr.Spencer tells the audience how the Saudis are behind much of the Islamic hatred being preached, Eric Shawn the news reporter cuts him right off in defense of the hate preaching Saudis. The same Saudis who are slowly bringing down the West with Islam. Mr.Shawn would your reaction have anything to do with the fact that a Saudi owns part of FOX News? Mr. Spencer was great as usual, while Mr. Shawn was pathetic.
At the 4:00 mark, stuttering Eric comes to the rescue of our Saudi "allies".

US Muslim Site Calls for Muslims to Confront Troops in NYC

Picture was previously on Revolution Muslim.
On May 16Th we saw the "American Muslims hit NYC Streets Calling for Sharia and Jihad" video. This Memorial Day weekend the same NY based Islamic website RevolutionMuslim.com is calling for Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq to "address" our troops over the two videos posted below. The site's owner Yousef al-Khattab, who is an ex-Jew is also calling for Muslims to confront our troops during Fleet Week in NYC. While I do not think that our soldiers should of made these videos, I will applaud them for one thing. Which is not bowing down to Islam like our government does.
Here is what Revolution Muslim had to say, along with the two videos.
It is Fleet Week in New York City, please watch the videos of the USA occupation troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pass these videos out to brothers and sisters in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Gulf Nations as well. Here you will see the real Bart Simpson "USA Culture" of today in practice. I want to speak to the troops about this, and insha'Allah I ask all of you to address them as well. Please be civil and always use the Islamic methodology. P.S. Now I understand why the occupation troops walk in small platoons in Manhattan.

Canada:Man Threatened With Death for Saying Hello to a Muslim

Many of us are aware of what the failed experiment of multiculturalism has brought to the UK. Now the problem of mixing Islamic and Western cultures has come to a head in a Toronto apartment building.

Hallway culture clash
In a Toronto apartment building, a feud has broken out over a neighbourly 'hello.' What hath multiculturalism wrought?
Matthew Coutts, National Post
Published: Friday, May 22, 2009
When the landlady of my Toronto apartment building said an outraged neighbour had filed a complaint about me over an apparently inappropriate hallway interaction with his wife, my mind raced through the countless conversations I've had with fellow tenants, none of which seemed a possible source of offence.
It turns out, it wasn't a salacious transaction that had caused the complaint, but rather a neighbourly and -- to me -- entirely forgettable greeting, little more than a brief "good morning" as I passed my neighbours on the way to work.
Still, it was enough of an affront for the man -- once a doctor somewhere in the Middle East, my landlady clarified -- to feel I had broken a cultural taboo. The incident started an awkward feud which has involved warnings not to repeat my indiscretion and one face-to-face shouting match, which included allusions to my impending death.
I expect the battle will wage on, as we appear to be stuck at an impasse.
His Muslim upbringing has ingrained in him a sense of entitlement to demand I not speak directly to his wife; and my prairie upbringing has ingrained in me a duty to strive for polite cohesion with my neighbours.
My landlady, who has handled the complaint with tittering trepidation, hasn't helped dispel the friction. She has told me to adhere to the demands because the man "could be dangerous," directing me to literally turn my back to the couple as they pass, never make eye contact and never hold the elevator for them, no matter what.
Life among neighbours has become increasingly complicated by multiculturalism, in this case making even the most affable salutation or good Samaritan gesture a practice in walking on eggshells. But in trying to adapt to a patchwork of often conflicting cultures, has civility become the casualty of accommodation?
I grew up in Manitoba, where it was an affront to your neighbour not to be cordial. If you didn't greet them by name you could be talked about in hushed voices and risked being labelled standoffish. Community amongst neighbours was not something to consider, it was a way of life. Call it prairie law.
Since moving to Toronto, I have lived in condos where asking your neighbour for the proverbial cup of sugar is greeted by skeptical, confused faces and closed doors.
But the majority have been open to the time-passing chats that break down barriers.
My midtown apartment building is home mostly to young professionals and is the definition of nondescript. I frequently hold doors for people carrying packages and say "you're welcome" if they show gratitude. I have run errands for unfamiliar neighbours because I was heading out into the rain anyway and there was no point in us both getting wet. I chat like a fool while waiting in the laundry room.
Of course, denying me the right to greet a woman in our shared hallway fails to measure up to reported conflicts that have caused a culture clash, such as Canada's reaction to a recent Afghan law allowing some husbands to withhold food until their wives agree to sex, or the case of a Toronto-area father and son accused of killing a daughter who refused to wear a hijab at school.
I discussed my situation with the head of a prominent Muslim women's rights organization, who was understandably more concerned with the living conditions of the woman in question. She described the segregation of sexes as one of the worst examples of fundamentalist Islamic misinterpretation and dismissed the idea that my greeting could be construed as an offence.
Keep smiling, keep saying hello, she advised. The successful cohesion of cultures requires concessions from both sides. Offence or not, I have continued to greet those I share a building with, although the couple next door continue living in reclusion.
The alternative to this is to live amongst strangers in an icy standoff, fearful that the slightest attempt at community might be viewed as an affront. The alternative is to abandon prairie law, turn your back and close your eyes. And that sounds terrible.

American Muslims who once again tried use the law to advance their religion have been defeated again. Hopefully we will see more of this and Muslims will become discouraged from coming here.

The Hill to sell alcohol next week despite mosque concern
By Jessie Pounds
May 8, 2009
KNOXVILLE -- The Hill restaurant in Fort Sanders, which has been the source of controversy over sales of alcohol, will open Wednesday despite concern by members of an adjacent mosque.
The Hill owner Trevor Hill said he found out this week that his request for a liquor license has been granted by the state.
Members of Anoor mosque, which is 191 feet from the restaurant at 1105 Forest Ave., have been upset about the possibility of a business that sells alcoholic drinks and stays open late being located on property next to their mosque.
Some mosque members tried to block Hill from getting a liquor license but were unsuccessful. Knoxville’s local beer ordinance establishes a 300-foot buffer zone around churches and other community institutions for a beer permit but waives the requirement if the establishment is granted a state liquor license.
According to Nadeem Siddiqi of Anoor, mosque members aren’t surprised that the liquor license request went through because they received word from Nashville that the process was a purely administrative one by the state Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
Siddiqi said mosque members continue to have concerns about the proximity of Hill’s business but intend to let the matter rest for now.

Greece:Islamic Prayer Center Firebombed

In this follow up to the "Muslims Clash With Greek Police for Second day" article, non-Muslims strike back. Now it is just a matter of time until the Muslims there play the victim card.
Athens Muslim group attacked in wake of violent protests
At least three people were hospitalized in Athens on Saturday morning after a firebomb attack on a shop used as a Muslim prayer center for immigrants
Police said unknown assailants smashed the shop's windows and poured gasoline inside before igniting it, a police source said.
The attack came a day after clashes between more than 1,000 Muslim protesters and Greek police in central Athens prompted by the alleged desecration of a copy of the Koran by police.
The march was organized by leftist, immigrant and anti-racism groups. Violence broke out after the rally when a group of protesters began throwing projectiles at police.
Immigrant groups allege that an Athens police officer tore apart and stepped on the Koran of a coffee shop customer during a police check in central Athens late Thursday. Police said they have launched an investigation into the incident.
Some 46 protesters were arrested Friday during the clashes, while seven Muslim immigrants and seven policemen were hospitalized for treatment. More than 70 cars and around a dozen businesses were damaged in the clashes, which sent tourists running for cover in nearby hotels.
Muslim hardships
Many Muslims in Athens use abandoned factories and converted coffee shops as makeshift prayer houses. Some Muslim groups have complained of police brutality and poor treatment by officials in the past.
Athens is the only European capital which does not have a proper mosque or cemetery to serve its more than 300,000 Muslim residents, mainly from various parts of northern Africa and Pakistan.
At present, the only operating mosques in Greece are in the north-eastern region of Thrace, home to some 100,000 Muslims.
Larger protests on Thursday saw around 1,500 Muslim immigrants rally before the march degenerated into violence with police resorting to tear gas to disperse the crowds.

Muslims Clash With Greek Police for Second day

This is a follow up to the "Muslims Rioting in Greece" story. Even though approximately 100 demonstrators threw objects at the police, the leftists are still standing strong with the "offended" Muslims.
Muslims clash with Greek police for second day
22 May 2009, 2201 hrs IST, AFP
ATHENS: Muslim immigrants clashed again with Greek police on Friday during a second day of protests in Athens over charges that officers tore up a Koran during an identity check of immigrants.
Nearly 1,000 Muslims rallied in the city's central Omonia square in a demonstration organised by leftist, immigrant and anti-racism groups.
Several men in their 20s and 30s from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Syria and Somalia marched to parliament and the interior minister shouting "Allah! Allah!" and slogans in Arabic.
The Greek capital's main streets were closed amid a heavy police presence.
Violence broke out at the end of the demonstration as around 100 protesters threw projectiles at police, who tried to disperse the crowd with tear gas.
"Immigrants are outraged. The incident on Wednesday was the straw that broke the camel's back," Vasso Akrivou, a member of the group Expel Racism, said.
Around 1,500 Muslim immigrants launched a demonstration on Thursday one day after hearing word of an incident involving the Koran.
Demonstrators said that when police stopped four Syrian immigrants to check their papers on Wednesday, one of the officers tore up a Koran and stamped on it.
The Greek police has opened an investigation into the allegations.
Police also used tear gas to disperse protesters who were throwing dustbins and stones on Thursday while a car was damaged during the clashes.
Greece is faced with a daily influx of immigrants from Asia via Turkey, many of whom are trying to reach Western Europe. Rights groups have complained of cases of police brutality against immigrants.
Interior ministry figures for 2008 show that more than 146,000 illegal immigrants were arrested in Greece, of whom 57,000 had arrived from Turkey.
The total number of illegal immigrants living in Greece is estimated to be 250,000, most of them Albanian nationals.

Obama OKs US Nuclear Energy Deal With UAE

While Dubai has tightened up their laws to conform more with Islamic customs, President Obama continues to fulfill his promise of reaching out to Muslims.
My question is why would he help the UAE advance with nuclear energy but not the country of which he is the president of?

Obama OKs US nuclear energy deal with UAE
WASHINGTON (Agencies)
American President Barack Obama on Thursday signed a civilian nuclear deal with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) worth potentially billions of dollars to U.S. energy companies, setting the stage for Congress to decide whether to block it.
"I have determined that the performance of the agreement will promote, and will not constitute an unreasonable risk to, the common defense and security," Obama said in a statement.
Supporters believe those concerns can be addressed. The UAE, by renouncing uranium enrichment and reprocessing of spent fuel, has made clear they have no intention of building a nuclear bomb, Sebright said.
His memorandum did not mention U.S. disquiet over a video of an Afghan merchant allegedly being beaten by a member of the UAE royal family, which raised human rights concerns in Congress.
Congressional decision
The administration of former President George W. Bush signed the pact with the wealthy Gulf state just days before leaving office in January.
The next step in the approval process for the civil nuclear deal is for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to formally submit it to the U.S. Congress. The pact would go into effect after 90 days unless lawmakers vote to block it.
"I expect now that the president has signed it will go to Congress pretty quickly," said Danny Sebright, president of the U.S.-UAE Business Council, which is planning a big push for approval of the deal. "We look forward to engaging Congress and answering any of their questions. We believe the agreement is rock solid and will stand on its merits."
Obama's decision to approve the deal comes just weeks before he plans to visit Egypt to fulfill a campaign promise to deliver a major speech to the Muslim world.
The UAE, which was the world's third largest oil exporter in 2007, is planning to build a number of nuclear reactors to meet an expected need for an additional 40,000 megawatts of electricity by 2017.
