BBC Host Gets Fired After Asking for a Non-Muslim Cabbie

I thought that the liberals over at the BBC were supposed to be the tolerant ones. Personally with Muslims creating fear in the UK with no go zones for non-Muslims and with the rapes of non-Muslims by Muslims on the rise in Europe who can blame her?

BBC Radio host sacked after call to taxi firm requesting 'non-Asian' driver

A BBC Radio presenter has been sacked following a 'racist' call to a taxi firm, in which she requested a 'non-Asian' driver.

Sam Mason told the operator that 'a guy with a turban would freak her daughter out' insisting they send an English driver instead.

The ex-glamour girl, 40, called the firm to order a taxi for her 14-year-old daughter off-air, while presenting her BBC Bristol radio show.

After the operator branded her request 'racist', Mason insisted, claiming it wasn't the first time she had made the request.

She said: 'A guy with a turban is going to freak her out. She's not used to Asians.'
When the operator said it would not be possible to carry out her wishes, she said: 'You've managed it before.'

Mason, who has previously battled alcohol addiction, claimed she wasn't racist but insisted she was looking out for her daughter's interest.

Mason said: 'If it were me I wouldn't care if it had two heads, but it's my little girl we are talking about.'

After the operator refused to book a car, Mason complained before hanging up.

The operator said: 'We would class that as being racist. We can't just penalise the Asian drivers and just send an English one.'


The BBC were alerted to the conversation after it was recorded and sent to the Sun newspaper.
The mother-of-one was subsequently suspended and fired 24 hours later.

A BBC spokesman said: 'Although Sam Mason's remarks were not made on-air, her comments were completely unacceptable and, for that reason, she has been informed that she will no longer be working for the BBC with immediate effect.'

UK:Muslim Cabbie Fined for not Picking up a Blind Passenger

Muslims of the UK have lost their 3rd straight demand of trying to get non-Muslims to cater to Islam. The first being the Muslim man who sued a supermarket because he had to handle alcohol. The second demand which was shot down were the Muslims launching a petition trying to stop a new Tesco Supermarket from selling any alcohol at all. Now the third is a UK Muslim cabbie who got fined for refusing to allow a blind person with a seeing eye dog into his cab, as many Muslims believe that Islam is against dogs. The cabbie was fined £300 after responding to a summons with a guilty plea. He will have to pay this, along with £150 in legal costs and a £15 victim surcharge, within 28 days. Thankfully the citizens of the UK are slowly waking up and standing up to the Islamists. Cheers mates!!

Democrats Look To Dominate

When the Republicans were in control of the government lawmakers such as John McCain looked to reach across the aisle to the Democrats. Less than a week after Republicans got thrashed in the latest election, Democrats are wasting no time in strengthening their position and doing what they have to do to stay in power. Obama's first order of business is to grant amnesty to the approximately 12 million illegals immigrants living here. Obviously most of these illegals will return the favor and vote Democratic in future elections.

If that is not enough, President elect Obama has stated that he will use his executive orders to make a grand entrance as soon as he officially becomes our next President. His plans might include reversing Bush's OK on domestic drilling for oil and natural gas.

Although Obama's transitional leader John Podesta has stated that Obama will have a diverse cabinet which may include keeping Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Majority Leader Harry Reid has stated he wants to keep Gates because he is not a Republican.

The next order of business has to do with Harry Reid and chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Joe Lieberman . Although Senator Lieberman is technically a Democrat he has much stronger views on the war on terror than most Democrats and has not toed the party line. In 2006 he ran as independent after he failed to win the Senate primary in Connecticut and had also criticized Obama as an inexperienced candidate. Now may be pay back time as Harry Reid is considering removing him from his position on the Homeland Security board.

These actions and their pre-election get out the vote drive show us that the Democrats are clearly more passionate about being in control of our government. When the Republican Party regains their passion, they might actually have a shot at regaining control of this country.

California Proposes $4 Billion Dollar tax Hike

Just days after the Obama victory the tax hikes are already being brought to the table as the Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger proposes a huge tax increase aimed at everyone in California. He is proposing raising sales taxes, so this effects everyone not just the top earners of the country. Maybe the if the Terminator would help put an end to all the illegals coming into the country, California would not have such financial troubles. California is flooded with illegals as it is proudly a sanctuary state. The reality is that our country cannot financially continue to pay for illegals to come here, because they cost us tax payers billions of dollars a year to pay for all the social services that they use. The cost to California alone is nearly $9 billion a year.

Schwarzenegger: $4.4B in tax hikes to end deficit

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Thursday proposed $4.4 billion in new taxes and a similar amount in spending cuts to deal with California's worsening fiscal crisis, saying, "We must stop the bleeding."

Much of the new revenue would come from a 1.5-percentage-point increase in the sales tax; the Republican governor described the hike as temporary but did not say how long it would last.

"We have a dramatic situation here and it takes dramatic solutions ... and immediate action," Schwarzenegger said as he called theLegislature back into session to deal with the budget shortfall.

The governor said $4.5 billion in cuts will be necessary across all state programs, including education, social services, health care and prisons.

Just six weeks ago, Schwarzenegger signed an overdue state budget that was intended to close a $15.2 billion deficit. The rapid pace of decline in the national and state economies since then has reopened an $11.2 billion gap that threatens to widen even further.

Schwarzenegger's call for tax increases puts him again at odds with legislators in his own party. Republicans, a minority in both houses but strong enough to block spending plans, were steadfastly against raising taxes in the last budget, and the state Senate's GOP caucus chairman said that won't change.

"The fact is that during this time of economic challenges is not the time to go back to California taxpayers and ask for more money from them," said Sen. George Runner, of Lancaster.

I was Just Obamaed

I was recently online talking to someone about Obama and William Ayers. This person compared Obama working with Ayers to working with someone who just has a different viewpoint. So these days being a terrorist is now reduced to someone just having a difference of opinion. After I read this I told them that they showed who they were by calling Ayers just someone with a different opinion or viewpoint. This person accused me of attacking them and I was immediately reminded of Obama. So apparently no one is supposed to point out any truths about the character of anyone on the left. Got it.

Example:When a person points out the truth to Obama that he has shady friends he calls it a distraction or a personal attack.

UK:Muslims Lose bid to Stop Supermarket From Selling Alcohol

The good news keeps on rolling in today as this is the second story about Muslims getting told no to their demands in the UK.(Just scroll down for the second one.) As common sense is slowly taking place over catering to Islam. This is an update to this story in which Muslims had petitioned to try and stop a Tesco Supermarket from selling any alcohol at all. The whole idea was very selfish if you ask me. I do not smoke, but I am not looking to stop stores from selling tobacco products. If someone needs to live under Islamic rules, they might be happier in an Islamic country. Two cheers to the UK today.

Tesco Express given permission to sell alcohol


High street giant Tesco has been given a licence to sell alcohol at its new Express store in Bury Park, Luton, despite strong objections from Muslims living nearby. Some residents were worried about the prospect of alcohol being sold at the Dunstable Road store, which is due to open in November and will be near the Rabia Islamic boys' school.

More than 150 people signed petitions opposing the supermarket giant's bid, complaining it would mean an increase in anti-social behaviour, litter and vandalism, and would divide the community.

But members of Luton Borough Council's licensing panel gave the application the green light at a meeting at the Town Hall on Tuesday morning. The store will be able to sell alcohol from 6am until 11pm, seven days a week.

UK:Muslim who Sued Supermarket Because he had to Handle Alcohol Loses Suit

Here is an update to this story. About Muslim man from the UK who sued the Tesco Supermarket chain because he had to handle cases of alcohol. Thankfully he has lost his lawsuit and he has said that it is unfair. Well Mr. Ahmed, what is unfair is that so many Muslims think that the non-Muslim world has to change to suit Islam. Muslim worker loses out in Tesco booze bid

A DERBY Muslim who sued Tesco for religious discrimination after he was asked to handle crates of alcohol has lost his case.
Mohammed Ahmed, who worked in a warehouse, said the job was against his Islamic beliefs. The 32-year-old, of Upper Dale Road, Normanton, also accused Tesco of victimisation and harassment during a three-day employment tribunal in Birmingham.

His job at the supermarket giant's Lichfield depot involved the transportation of various goods, including alcoholic drinks, on fork-lift trucks.
The Saudi Arabian national told the tribunal he was not informed that he would be handling alcohol when he started the job last year.

He said he was considering appealing against the decision after being told his legal action had failed.
He said: "It's not fair but what can I do? They [Tesco] were not taking into account my religious beliefs. I will consult with solicitors."

The situation came to a head before Christmas last year, when more alcohol was ferried to the Tesco warehouse in preparation for the festive season.
Mr Ahmed told the tribunal that he was not made aware he would be required to handle alcohol when he started the job, a claim denied by Tesco.

He also said he had not visited any of Derby's three Tesco stores and was unaware alcohol was served by the shop. He admitted, however, that he had been to Sainsbury's, Asda and Lidl stores.

He refused to touch alcohol because it was against his religious principles as a Muslim, he said, and asked to be found other work.
He told the tribunal that Tesco failed to co-operate and alleged he was told by a supervisor, "You do the job or go home", a claim also denied by the store.

Mr Ahmed, who moved to Derby in 2006, complained to Tesco but claimed he was treated unfairly as a result. After eight months working for the company, he left in protest.
Speaking after the three-day tribunal in Birmingham, he had said: "It's in our religion that we are not allowed to handle alcohol. In the UK there's equal opportunities that should protect me and my beliefs."

Tesco said Mr Ahmed was made aware during his employment induction course that he would be handling alcohol, and that every effort was made to find him an alternative role in the warehouse.
