Just minutes ago I posted an article about the persecution of Christians in Egypt.
We now see just how "tolerant" Islam is in Somalia. This is a worldwide problem that has come to our shores as well. Will we sit silently and let them takeover or we will defend our freedoms and fight Islam? It is time for non-Muslims to rise up and take a stand against Islam.

Islamic extremists in Somalia hunting Christians


Somalia (MNN) ― Somalia's Muslim militants are hunting down converts to Christianity. According to Voice of the Martyrs Canada, Al-Shabaab members have murdered 14 believers since July 15.

Compass Direct News reports the September 15 shooting death of 69-year-old Omar Khalafe, an underground Christian who had Bibles in his possession.

On the day of his death, Khalafe was carrying 25 Somali Bibles he hoped to deliver to an underground fellowship in Somalia. At a checkpoint controlled by al Shabaab--a rebel group linked with al Qaeda which has taken over large parts of the war-torn country--bus passengers were ordered to disembark for inspection.

Voice of the Martyrs Canada and Compass Direct reports agree on the events following the discovery of the Bibles.

The assailants used photos they found to determine if they could match the faces to any passengers. When they noticed a resemblance to Khalafe, they asked if the Bibles were his. The radicals shot and killed him when he did not respond.

Militants then displayed his body in Merca along with the Bibles as a warning to others. Later that day, a militant reported Khalafe's death on a radio program.

Khalafe, who had been a Christian for 45 years, was active in sharing the Good News and baptizing converts from Islam.

Khalafe's family is in mourning, but due to the risk of exposure, his wife and seven children were unable to participate in his burial because of the risk of being killed by militants, reports Compass Direct.

Despite the shock and brutality of Khalafe's death, the hope of the Gospel is still going forward through the underground church. Keep praying for wisdom for the workers who continue to follow Christ.

MOGADISHU, Aug 10 (Reuters) - Somali Islamist group al Shabaab is forcibly removing gold and silver teeth from residents in southern Somalia because it says they contravene strict religious law, locals from a coastal town said on Monday.

Residents in Marka say al Shabaab has been rounding up anyone seen with a silver or gold tooth and taking them to a masked man who then rips them out using basic tools.

"I never thought al Shabaab would see my denture as a sin. They took me to their station and removed my silver tooth," resident Bashir told Reuters.

"I met several men and women whose dentures were being pulled out by a masked man they called a doctor. The doctor used a pincer or his gloved hand depending on the strength of the tooth," Bashir said.

"As you smile your silver tooth accuses you. I was at a counter with my friend when three armed al Shabaab ordered me to follow them," he added. "I am afraid they want to make money from taking all this precious metal."

Al Shabaab officials declined to comment.

The Islamist group says the gold and silver teeth are used for fashion and beauty, which is against strict interpretations of Islam, residents told Reuters.

The crude dental work has fuelled fears of health risks.

"Pulling or replacing teeth may lead to loss of blood and neurological damage. The tooth may break and the remaining piece may cause sepsis," Mohamed Mohamud, dean of faculty of medicine at Mogadishu's Benadir University, told Reuters.

Clinton:We Support the Sharia Govt of Somalia~Increases aid

I understand why Hillary Clinton thinks that siding with the current Sharia government of Somalia, is the right move. As they are fighting against the US listed terrorist organization al-Shabaab. But when you are a leader of a country which is supposed to represent freedom for the world, siding with Sharia law does not cut it. As sharia is based on a discrimination against women and non-Muslims. Freedom loving nations should be fighting Sharia law, not embracing it.

Somalia: Clinton Pledges Support to Transitional Federal Government

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton pledged continued U.S. support for the Somali Transitional Federal Government (TFG) and called on Eritrea to halt interference in Somalia.

Clinton appeared at a joint press conference at the U.S. Embassy August 6 following talks with Somali President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed. She said the talks with the TFG leader were "a thorough and productive discussion about the challenges facing his country and the efforts of the international community to support the Transitional Federal Government as it stands up for the people of Somalia and against the threat of violent extremism."

Clinton pledged continued support for the TFG and said the United States has joined the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), the Arab League, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, and the African Union (AU) in endorsing the Somali-led Djibouti peace process, which aims to end conflict and restore peace.

"We believe that his [Sharif's] government is the best hope we have had in quite some time for a return to stability and the possibility of progress in Somalia," Clinton added.

Earlier in the day, Clinton, with the help of survivors, laid a wreath at Memorial Park in Nairobi, commemorating victims of the August 7, 1998, U.S. Embassy bombing, which killed 213 people and injured more than 4,000 others.

STRONGER TFG

A stronger TFG would have "positive consequences, not just for Somalia but for the region and the wider global community. It would contribute to greater regional stability and start to alleviate the greater refugee crisis afflicting Somalia's neighbors, especially Kenya," which is currently hosting some 300,000 refugees, Clinton said.

She commended Sharif's government for "taking up the fight on behalf of the Somali people against al-Shabaab -- a terrorist group with links to al-Qaida and other foreign militant networks."

Al-Shabaab "and its allies," she said, "lack regard for human rights, women's rights, for education, health care and the progress of the Somali people. They see Somalia as a future haven for global terrorism."

Millions of Somalis, or roughly 40 percent of the country's population, are in need of humanitarian assistance as they confront persistent conflict, prolonged drought and periodic disease outbreaks, she added.

Clinton acknowledged that the TFG institutions are in need of reform and support so they can make progress in delivering services to the Somali people.

Secretary Clinton lays a wreath at Memorial Park in Nairobi August 6 with survivors of the 1998 terrorist bombing of the U.S. Embassy.

"The United States and the international community must serve as an active partner in helping the TFG in helping the people of Somalia confront and ultimately move beyond the conflict and poverty that has gripped their country," she said.

She praised the AU mission in Somalia for playing an "instrumental role" in providing security and the space in which the TFG can operate.

The United States has provided more than $150 million over the past two years to the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) troops, and more will be provided in the next few months, she said.

Clinton also pledged to continue providing equipment and training for the TFG and supplying humanitarian assistance to the Somali people and is asking other states in the region to support the Djibouti process.

"It is long past time for Eritrea to cease and desist its support for al-Shabaab and to start being a productive rather than a destabilizing neighbor," she said.

At the press conference, Sharif said through an interpreter that he was grateful for the meeting and that it was a good opportunity for his government and the people of Somalia.

He said he presented his views in "very frank" terms and hoped such meetings would help his country "move out of this current crisis."

Sharif told reporters that what is going on in Somalia is not a civil war but a situation fueled by "people with strategic interests to make Somalia a base from which to destabilize the world."

Islam is a peaceful religion, he explained, and what terrorists want to do by killing innocent people is not operating in accordance with Islam.

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — An Islamic court in Somalia that sentenced four men to have a hand and a leg cut off postponed the punishment Tuesday, saying the sweltering weather could cause them to bleed to death.

The court sentenced the men Monday in the capital, Mogadishu, after accusing them of stealing mobile phones and guns. The court is run by al-Shabab, a powerful insurgent group that is trying to topple the U.N.-backed government and install a strict form of Islam.

"The sentence will be carried out later," an al-Shabab official said, requesting anonymity because he was not allowed to speak publicly. "It was postponed because of the hot weather and fears that the victims will bleed to death."

No date was set for the punishments to be carried out.

Amnesty International has appealed to al-Shabab not to carry out the "cruel, inhuman and degrading punishments."

The U.S. considers al-Shabab a terrorist group with links to al-Qaida, which al-Shabab denies. The group, which controls much of Somalia, is boosted by hundreds of foreign fighters.

Somalis traditionally observe Sufi Islam, a relatively moderate form of worship. But in recent years, insurgents have begun to follow austere Wahabi Islam — rooted in Saudi Arabia and practiced by Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.

Extremists sentence Somalis to amputations

MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) — A court run by an extremist Islamic group sentenced four Somali men on Monday to each have a hand and a leg cut off for allegedly stealing mobile phones and guns. The ruling prompted an outcry from human rights activists.

The court that handed down the sentence in Somalia's capital is run by al-Shabab, one of the nation's most powerful insurgent groups. The U.S. considers al-Shabab a terrorist group with links to al-Qaida, which al-Shabab denies. The group, which controls much of Somalia, is trying to drive out the government and install a strict form of Islam.

"We have convicted them of theft, so they deserve to have their arms and legs amputated," said Sheik Abdul Haq, the al-Shabab judge in the capital, Mogadishu.

Al-Shabab has carried out amputations and other punishments elsewhere in Somalia, but they are rare in the capital.

Amnesty International appealed to al-Shabab not to carry out the "cruel, inhuman and degrading punishments."

"These sentences were ordered by a sham al-Shabab court with no due process or guarantees of fairness," said Tawanda Hondora, Amnesty International's Africa deputy director.

No date was set for the sentences to be carried out. Al-Sabab has been known to carry out stonings, executions and amputations in public outside Mogadishu.

The sentences came as the country's president declared a state of emergency Monday as his fragile, U.N.-backed government struggled to quash a deadly Islamic insurgency.

President Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed said the declaration means "our forces are on full alert." It was not clear what difference the declaration will make on the ground.

Somalia's government is under attack by militants who want to topple the administration and install a strict Islamic state. A surge in violence in recent weeks, which diplomats said is a major push by the insurgents to force the government out of its Mogadishu strongholds, has killed about 225 people.

Last week, the national security minister and Mogadishu's police chief were among those killed.

Somalia's defense minister was supposed to be in Paris to meet with French government ministers Monday, but returned to Somalia instead because of "the degradation of the situation on the ground," according to the French Foreign Ministry.

Somali lawmakers pleaded this weekend for immediate international military intervention from countries including Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti to help quash the insurgency. But there was no indication reinforcements would be forthcoming.

African Union Commission Chairman Jean Ping said in a statement that the Somali government "has the right to seek support from AU member states and the larger international community."

But Kenyan government spokesman Alfred Mutua said the neighboring country would not send troops, choosing instead to help Somalia "in other ways." He did not elaborate.

There was no immediate word on whether other countries would answer the call. There already is an AU force in Mogadishu, but its mandate is restricted to guarding government officials and installations.

Nearly 126,000 people have fled their homes since May 7, according to the U.N. refugee agency. The United Nations says an estimated 3.2 million Somalis — almost half the country's population — need food and other humanitarian aid.

Two years ago, Ethiopia deployed troops to support Somalia's fragile, Western-backed government, but they were widely unpopular and finally withdrawn in January after the election of a new president. Last month Ethiopia sent in troops to the border regions of Somalia.

Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti are members of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development, a regional group that has led past peace talks on Somalia and last month imposed a sea and air blockade to stop supplies reaching the Islamic insurgents in Somalia. It is not clear whether the blockade is effective.

Somalia has not had an effective government since 1991 when the overthrow of a dictatorship plunged the country into chaos.

Somali:Sharia is the Official law of the Land

Back in mid-April the Parliament of Somalia unanimously voted in Sharia or Islamic law . All that was needed to make it official was the signing of the bill by their President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed. He has done that, and guess what? Just like in the sharia ruled Swat Pakistan the violence has not stopped.

As Islamist insurgents continued an assault on government forces in Mogadishu, President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed signed a bill late Wednesday enacting Islamic Sharia law in the country.

President Ahmed said Somalia is a Muslim country and the people support Islamic law. He instructed his cabinet ministers to implement the legislation and defended the bill from the criticism of the insurgents threatening the government. Mr. Sharif said this is the first time Islamic law has been introduced in Somalia, so what reason do they have for opposing it, other than to destroy the country?

Application of law unclear

It remains unclear how the law will be applied or how it will relate to the existing secular constitution that governs Somalia's provisional government. President Sharif said he would name legal experts to work through any conflicts.

Supporters of the president hope that the formal introduction of Islamic law will help to undermine the Islamist insurgency. Since last Thursday, fighters from the al-Shabab and Hizbul-Islam militias have led an offensive against government forces, pro-government militias and African Union peacekeepers.

Al-Shabab leader urges fighters to continue attacks

But a top al-Shabab leader, Sheikh Muktar Abdirahman "Godane", issued a taped message Wednesday urging fighters to continue their attacks against the government. Godane said the government should not be considered Islamic because it was created to fight Islamists.

President Sharif served alongside several of the current insurgent leaders in a short-lived Islamist government that was ousted by Ethiopia in late 2006. President Sharif's faction of the opposition signed a deal with the government last year and joined it in January.

High-seas pirate tries to adjust to NY prison cell

NEW YORK (AP) — The wound on Abdiwali Abdiqadir Muse's slim hand, where he was stabbed by a crew member during his pirate attack on a U.S. cargo ship, has been redressed. He's been given painkillers and antibiotics for his injuries and a Quran to use in prayer.

The Somali pirate is being held alone in a cramped cell for two weeks as part of the typical entry procedure at the federal prison also housing Bernard Madoff.

But he essentially has no idea what's going on, his lawyer says, as he faces what's believed to be the first U.S. piracy prosecution in more than a century.

"Imagine yourself in Somalia," court-appointed attorney Philip Weinstein said Friday. "Imagine how overwhelmed you'd be by everything."

Weinstein and co-counsel Deirde von Dornum met with Muse at a courthouse Friday for the first time since a federal judge ruled Muse, whose age is disputed, could be tried as an adult with piracy, conspiracy and brandishing and firing a gun during a conspiracy in the boarding of the Maersk Alabama on April 8.

The Maersk's captain, Richard Phillips, of Underhill, Vt., was held captive five days until Navy sharpshooters killed three other pirates floating in a lifeboat with him.

The decision by the federal government to bring Muse to justice in the United States has thrust the skinny teenager into the international spotlight and has raised legal questions about whether the U.S. is going too far in trying to make an example of someone so young.

The most serious count against Muse carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison.
Prosecutors portray Muse as the brazen ringleader of the pirates who shot at the ship's captain and bragged about prior marauding on the high seas. They say he gave wildly varying accounts of his age after his capture but is believed to be over 18. His parents, contacted in Somalia, say he's 15.

During court proceedings Tuesday, the 5-foot-2 Muse looked bewildered and so scrawny that his prison clothes were several sizes too big. He put his head in his hands and cried when his lawyers mentioned his family.

Weinstein and von Dornum are working now to simply establish a relationship with Muse, who doesn't understand the American legal system and knows only of a world where justice is dispensed with brutality and violence.

"We're at the beginning of the beginning," Weinstein said. "He's confused, overwhelmed. He doesn't quite appreciate fully what's going on."

The lawyers also are trying to get a Somali interpreter approved to work at the prison when they want to meet with Muse, who speaks only a few words of English. Until then they must meet with Muse at the courthouse.

Muse spends his days and nights in a 7 1/2-by-8-foot cinderblock cell with only a bunkbed, a sink and a toilet at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, in lower Manhattan. The lockup houses a range of criminals, from Madoff to assorted murderers and mobsters.

Muse, who is Muslim, has been given a special diet. So far he's been eating lots of salads and vegetables.

"He was given cold cuts, and he wasn't quite sure what to do with them, but that's being worked out," Weinstein said. "The prison is trying."

Somalian Terrorists Fire on US Congressman

In less than a week Islamic Somalian terrorists have hijacked two US ships and now have fired on a US Congressman. I thought that all of these problems were supposed to disappear as soon as President Obama took office. It looks like things are getting worse to me.

Somali Insurgents Fire at U.S. Congressman During Visit to Mogadishu

Somali insurgents fired mortars toward U.S. Congressman Donald Payne's plane during a visit to the Somali capital in Mogadishu.

The New Jersey Democrat was not injured, his spokeswoman Kerry McKenney told FOX News.

Al Shabab, Somalia's militant Islamist rebel group, claimed responsibility for the mortars fired at Payne, Reuters reported.

"We fired on the airport to target the so-called democratic congressman sent by (U.S. President Barack) Obama," Sheikh Hussein Ali, an al Shabaab spokesman, told Reuters.

Al Shabab is designated as a terrorist group by the U.S. State Department and is connected to Al Qaeda.

Medina Hospital Administrator Ali Adde said 19 civilians, mostly women and children, were injured when the shells landed in residential areas. Nine were admitted to the hospital and nine had light injuries, Adde said.

"One mortar landed at the airport when Payne's plane was due to fly and five others after he left and no one was hurt," Abukar Hassan, a police officer at Mogadishu airport, told Reuters.

McKenney said Payne, who chairs the House of Representatives' Foreign Affairs subcommittee on Africa, felt it was important to go to Mogadishu and see first-hand what was happening there.

His trip comes a day after U.S. sea captain Richard Phillips was rescued from four Somali pirates off Africa's eastern coast.

"All we know is his plane was fired on and of course we feel it was in retaliation," McKenney told FOX News.

She said Payne was traveling with bodyguards but she has not been able to speak to him directly because his plane was in the air.

He arrived early Monday in what is believed to be the first visit by a senior U.S. politician to Mogadishu in years, Reuters reported.

Payne told reporters he met with Somalia's president and prime minister during his one-day visit to Mogadishu to discuss piracy, security and cooperation between Somalia and the United States.

Payne spoke with reporters at a news conference in the presidential palace in Mogadishu.

Pirates vow to Kill Americans and French

The Somalian Islamic pirates have vowed revenge on Americans and the French, for killing five of their thug brothers in daring rescues last week. One "moderate" Muslim leader has said that the killings of the pirates would only escalate piracy. Which in reality means that he supports the pirates and is just trying to come off as a moderate.

SOMALI pirates have threatened revenge after two separate hostage-rescue raids by foreign forces killed at least five comrades, raising fears of future bloodshed on the high seas.

The latest raid by US forces this morning saved American hostage Capt Richard Phillips. Three pirates were killed and one was taken captive, the US Navy said.

That rescue mission and one by France last week have upped the stakes in shipping lanes off the anarchic Horn of Africa nation where pirate gangs have defied foreign naval patrols.

"The French and the Americans will regret starting this killing. We do not kill, but take only ransom. We shall do something to anyone we see as French or American from now," Hussein, a pirate, told Reuters by satellite phone.

"We cannot know how or whether our friends on the lifeboat died, but this will not stop us from hijacking," he said.

Sea gangs generally treat their captives well, hoping to fetch top dollar in ransoms. The worst violence has been an occasional beating.

"We shall revenge," said another pirate, Aden, in Eyl village, a pirate lair on Somalia's eastern coast.

Some fear the US and French operations may make the modern-day pirates more like those of previous centuries.

"The pirates will know from now that anything can happen. The French are doing this, the Americans are doing it. Things will be more violent from now on," said Andrew Mwangura of the Kenya-based East African Seafarers Assistance Program.

"This is a big wake-up to the pirates. It raises the stakes."

Piracy is lucrative business in Somalia, where gangs have earned millions of dollars in ransoms, splashing it on wives, houses, cars and fancy goods.

After a wane in business early this year, pirates have struck back. They presently hold more than a dozen vessels with about 260 hostages, of whom about 100 are Filipino.

Eyl, Haradheere and other pirate havens along the Indian Ocean coastline have come back to life with the windfall of successful operations.

Somalia's anarchy - whose 18 years of civil war have given sea gangs assault rifles, grenade launchers and little central control - has long been ignored by world powers.

The saga over the capture of Capt Phillips has thrown international attention on the long-running piracy phenomenon that has hiked up insurance costs on strategic waterways where warships now patrol.

"Killing three out of thousands of pirates will only escalate piracy," said Sheikh Abdullahi Sheikh Abu Yusuf, spokesman of the moderate Islamist group Ahlu Sunna Waljamaca.

While Hillary Clinton thought that the pirate situation was funny, our great US Navy did not. They took it seriously and rescued the Captain while killing three of the four Islamic pirates. This is a wonderful Easter gift for the brave Captain Phillips and his family. God has blessed them.

American captain rescued, pirates killed, U.S. official says

(CNN) -- The captain of the Maersk Alabama was freed Sunday after being held captive since Wednesday by pirates off the coast of Somalia, a senior U.S. official with knowledge of the situation told CNN.

The official said Capt. Richard Phillips is uninjured and in good condition, and that three of the four pirates were killed. The fourth pirate is in custody. Phillips was taken aboard the USS Bainbridge, a nearby naval warship.

Earlier Sunday afternoon Maersk Line Limited, owner of the Maersk Alabama, said the U.S. Navy informed the company that it had sighted Phillips in a lifeboat where pirates are holding him.

Phillips was spotted another time earlier in the day, the Navy said.

A man who answered the door at Phillips' home in Underhill, Vermont, told CNN's Stephanie Elam that the family has known the news for hours. He said details would have to come from Virginia, apparently referring to the home base of Maersk Line Limited, based in Norfolk, which owns the ship.

On Saturday, the FBI launched a criminal investigation into the hijacking of the U.S.-flagged cargo ship by Somali pirates, two law enforcement officials told CNN. The probe will be led by the FBI's New York field office, which is responsible for looking into cases involving U.S. citizens in the African region, the officials said.

The Maersk Alabama reached port in Mombasa, Kenya, on Saturday. Crew members aboard the freed cargo ship described how some of their colleagues attempted to "jump" their pirate captors.

A scuffle ensued and one of the sailors stabbed a pirate in the hand in the battle to retake the container ship, one of the sailors told CNN.

Snippets of information are starting to emerge about how the Alabama's crew managed to retake the ship after it was hijacked by pirates Wednesday about 350 miles off the coast of Somalia in the Indian Ocean.

Crew members smiled broadly as they stood on the ship's deck under the watchful eyes of security teams. Although the crew was kept away from the media, CNN's Stan Grant got close enough to ask crew members what happened after the pirates climbed aboard the ship.

One crew member said he recalled being awakened around 7 a.m. as the hijacking began.

Some of the crew managed to hide in a secure part of the Alabama as the pirates stormed the ship, the sailor said.

As the sailors described their clash with the pirates, a crew member pointed to one shipmate and said, "This guy is a hero. He and the chief engineer, they took down the pirate. ... He led him down there to the engine room and then they jumped him."

The shipmate added that he stabbed the pirate's hand and tied him up.

"Capt. Phillips is a hero," another crew member shouted from the deck of the freed ship.

Since Phillips was captured Wednesday, the destroyer USS Bainbridge has been in the area of the lifeboat, trying to free him.

An attempt by Phillips to escape from the 28-foot covered lifeboat was thwarted by a pirate, who dove into the Indian Ocean after him. Phillips' captors appear to have tied him up afterward, Pentagon officials said.


The Alabama resumed its course on Thursday for Mombasa, its original destination, carrying food aid and an armed 18-person security detail.

Maersk president and CEO John Reinhart told reporters Saturday that the crew will stay on board in Mombasa while the FBI conducts an investigation.

Somalia:Sharia is the law of the Land

Just about two weeks ago I posted about how the government of Pakistan have caved into the demands of the Taliban and allowed Sharia law to become the law of the land in Swat Pakistan. Just days later sharia loving Muslims in Somalia gave the new President of Somalia Sharif Ahmed 120 days to implement Sharia law into the country of Somalia. Now it is not even two weeks later and the President of Somalia has already caved in. He has agreed to allow sharia to be the law of the land.

Somalia president agrees to sharia, truce plan

MOGADISHU (AFP) — Somalia's President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed said Saturday he accepted a proposal by local and foreign religious leaders for a truce with hardline Islamists and the implementation of sharia, or Islamic law.

The religious leaders are trying to mediate between the government and its foes who have ramped up their onslaught against the new president, elected on January 31.

"I met with religious leaders and elders and accepted their demand for ceasefire and reconciliation with the opposition members and I call on all opposition parties to halt the unnecessary violence," Ahmed told reporters.

"The mediators asked me to introduce Islamic sharia in the country and I agreed," he added.

Hardline Shebab militia and other Islamist fighters have waged battles against the government and its allies. At least 30 people were killed this week in the bloodiest clashes since the president was elected.

They have vowed to fight on until all foreign forces in Somalia withdraw and sharia is imposed.

The African Union peacekeepers whom they have also repeatedly attacked are the only foreign troops in the country after Ethiopian soldiers pulled out last month.
"We asked the president to implement Islamic sharia in the country and accept mediation," said Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, chairman of Somalia's Union of Islamic Scholars.

"He agreed and we hope this will end the violence in the country."
However, the proposal to introduce sharia would have to be ratified by parliament.
The president also said that the government had relocated to Mogadishu from neighbouring Djibouti, which hosted United Nations-brokered talks that led to his election.

The new government, which comprises 36 ministers, began work on Saturday, Ahmed said.
