This is a very strong article written by Dr. Sami Alrabaa. It tells us how the upcoming Geert Wilder's trial can be used to our advantage against Islam. Prosecuting Geert Wilders, member of the Dutch Parliament, is a welcome opportunity to expose fascist Islam and radical Muslims. Wilders and his lawyers do not need to go far away to fetch crystal clear evidence that Islam, i.e. the Koran and Hadith incite to violence and hatred, and radical Muslims are behind numerous crimes against humanity.

There is an abundance of fatwas (religious edicts) by Muslim authorities inciting to genocide and suicide attacks against Christians and Jews. All these fatwas are based on the Koran and Hadith.

Ali Gom’a, the grand mufti of Egypt, the highest Muslim religious authority in the world, supports murdering non-Muslims. In the daily Al Ahram (April 7, 2008), he says, “Muslims must kill non-believers wherever they are unless they convert to Islam.” He also compares non-Muslims to apes and pigs, not only the Jews.

Muhammad Sayyid Al Tantawi, president of Al Azhar University also approves of killing and maiming Christians, Jews, and other infidels. He added, “This is not my personal view. This what the Shari’a Law says, the law of Allah, the only valid law on the earth.”

Yousef Al Qaradhawi, the spiritual leader of the fundamentalist organization, the Muslim Brothers, urged on Al Jazeera TV (Jan. 9, 2009) Muslims to kill the Jews, not only in Israel but also worldwide. He added, “No peace can be made between us (Muslims) and the non-believers. This what our holy book says. This what Allah says.”

Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed al Sheikh said on Iqra’ TV channel, “Killing producers who show women unveiled is legal.”
The Saudi Sheikh Saleh Al-Lehadan, head of the Supreme Judiciary Council, told Al Watan daily, (March 25, 2008) “After getting rid of the Jews in our Arab land, we must turn to the Christians. They have three options: either they convert to Islam, or leave, or pay Jizia (protection taxes). Further, there is not such a thing as Shiites, Sufis, etc. There are only Sunnis. All these sects must renounce their pagan beliefs and return to Sunna, the right path of Islam.”

Most recently, demonstrators in Berlin and Munich, and elsewhere in Germany, raised banners reading, “Hamas! Hamas! Jews to the gas”. The police did not arrest anyone of them and nobody filed a court case against them for inciting to murder which in the German law is punishable.

German apologists like Claudia Roth and Cem Ozdemir (a Muslim of a Turkish decent), chairpersons of the German Green Party, said in a press conference in Berlin (Jan. 20, 2009), “Wilders’ film “Fitna” has contributed to worsening our relations with the Muslims around the globe. Geert Wilders is hurting the feelings of Muslims.”

I said in the conference, “This is not true. I know many Muslims who approve of Wilders’ critique of Islam. They do not feel offended. Only fascist Muslims feel so.” Roth and Ozdemir ignored my remark.

The truth of the matter is “Fitna” is simply reflecting how radical Muslims think and act, inspired and encouraged by the Koran.

Wilders’ comparison of the Koran to Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” and describing it as a fascist book is not inappropriate. Hitler referred to the Jews as “rats and vermin” and the Koran and fascist Muslims call the Jews “The descendants of apes and pigs”.

It is not Wilders who should be prosecuted, but people like Gom’s, Al Qaradhawi and their peers. They must be brought to justice before the International Tribunal. Inciting to genocide is an egregious crime.

Many Westerners are intimidated by fascist Muslims and that is what the latter want to achieve at the end of the day. Ahmed Marcouch, a prominent member of the Dutch Labor Party, of Moroccan descent, asked in 2008 an Amsterdam court to bring Muslim fascists to the Netherlands and prosecute them. His petition was turned down.

Marcouch told ARD, German TV (Dec. 19, 2008), “Not only many Westerners approve of “Fitna”, but also many decent Muslims like me, but they dare not say that openly. Fascist Islam is a virus that is not only infecting Western societies, but also Muslim societies. This virus must be exposed and dealt with by all means.”

Wilders is simply warning the West and moderate Muslims that fascist Islam is a devastating threat to humanity. This virus was born in the Arabian Peninsula and is spreading across the world.

Wilders’ prosecution is a defining point in the clash between fascist Muslims and the rest of the world. Regardless whether he is convicted or not, he must be thanked for his courage. He is simply disseminating the truth about a violent and hate-inciting “religion”. His message is very clear: “Westerners, wake up before it is too late.”

Zaghlul Al Najjar rejoices in the rise and spread of Islam across the globe. He writes in the Egyptian daily Al Ahram (Nov. 14, 2008), “Islam now is everywhere. Gorgeous mosques are build everywhere in the heart of Europe, in Rome and Cologne. The number of Muslims all over the world is also rising. More than 20 million Muslims live now in Europe. Alone in Germany there are 3.5. Demographers estimate that the majority of citizens in Germany will be Muslims in the year 2050. Two decades ago very few women wore the Hijab (headscarf). Now you can see them everywhere. Sooner or later, Islam will be in control of the whole world. This time, we don’t need to fight the infidel West with our troops as we did at the gates of Vienna. This time we’ll infiltrate the West and convert it to Islam, willy-nilly.”

Tarek Ramadan visited the Islamic Center in Bilelefeld, Germany (May 21, 2008) and gave a speech. Before he began his speech, he asked if there were any journalists in audience. As the answer was negative, he said, “OK, now I feel free to say what I really want.” Ramadan is well-known for telling his infidel audience something and his Muslim audience another thing.
Ramadan said, “My brothers and sisters, we must exploit the so-called democracy and freedom of speech here in the West to reach our goals. Our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and the Koran teach us that we must use every conceivable means and opportunity to defeat the enemies of Allah. Tell the infidels in public, we respect your laws and your constitutions, which we Muslims believe that these are as worthless as the paper they are written on. The only law we must respect and apply is the Shari’s.”
Ramadan added, “The Germans claim that they want to integrate you in their society. We tell them we are going to integrate them in our Umma (Muslim world) after converting them to Islam.”

If Wilders wins his case, it will not be only his own triumph, but also one for all peace-loving people all over the world.

If Wilders loses then fascist Muslims have managed to silence Islam’s critics and consequently a “Dutch court has imported Saudi blasphemy norms to Europe”, as the Wall Street Journal put it.

Here are some highlights.

Human rights abuse is a civilized euphemism for the barbaric ill-treatment of many innocent people in Saudi Arabia. No language in the world can fully describe the physical and mental suffering, the depths of injustice, and the inhumanity inflicted on those who are targeted for victimization.

“Men and women are only allowed to visit the museum on alternate days. Some of us call it ‘gender apartheid’, you know.

“But first I’ll have to buy you an abbaya – you know, like a bathrobe, but in black. Women really must wear it in Saudi Arabia if they don’t want to attract anger and sexual looks from men here.

Nearby I observed a Saudi woman eating her meal. Every time she ate a mouthful of food, she lifted her veil outwards with her left hand, shoved the fork in, and then dropped the veil while she chewed.

“Well, some Saudis, as well as our religious leaders, believe that a woman’s voice is a sexual organ. And, just like any other sexual organ, you don’t expose it in public. You may as well have been showing him something else.”

A place where women were raped, with great pleasure, in the name of Islam.

Arabs are Ill-Informed Because Arab Media is Biased

So long as we Arabs are one-sidedly informed, the longer we remain demagogic, and peace will never become a reality in the Middle East.

Thanks to modern electronic multimedia, the culture of reading is dwindling worldwide, slowly but steadily. But the culture of reading in the Arab world has sparsely existed. According to a recent UNESCO report, the Arab countries still have some of the highest rates of illiteracy in the world. The majority of Arabs do not read.

A recent study of the International Media Institute in Berlin, Germany, came to the conclusion that only 3% of Arabs read, predominantly daily newspapers. The majority of Arabs watch TV for news and entertainment.

By and large the Arab states are awash with print and electronic media. Most of these media, however, are state-controlled, semi-official organs, or owned by oil rich Arabs, from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. For example, the Saudi tycoon, Al Waleed Bin Talal owns MBC TV, Al Arabiya, Orbit, and other smaller TV channels. Sheikh Hamad Al Thani of Qatar owns Al Jazeera, and the Lebanese millionaire Saad Al Hareeri owns Al Mustaqbal.

All these media are largely biased. They misrepresent Western views, and critical, differentiated reporting is almost absent. Israel is depicted as the “aggressor” and the West as its backer.

American and Western shortcomings, like torturing in Abugraib prison in Iraq are exaggerated and discussed extensively, but torture in Arab prisons are hushed up. Muntather Al Zaidi the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at President Bush in a press conference in Baghdad is a “hero”.

The Arab media highlight corruption charges raised against the German Electronic giant, Siemens, but corruption practices by Bandar Bin Sultan, the son of the Saudi Crown Prince, are hushed up. He “earned” billions of dollars from a Saudi-British arms deal.

There are innumerable examples of Arab biased reporting. A quick look at Arab reporting and op-ed yield a full barrel. More than 7000 rockets and mortars deliberately aimed at Israeli civilian targets since Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005 are largely ignored by the Arab media. They day in day out compare Gaza to a “concentration camp” and the Israeli offensive to a “real Holocaust.” Suicide bombers and Palestinian militants killed by the Israelis are called “martyrs”. Critical Internet websites are blocked.

Arab bloggers who criticize their governments and demand democracy, free speech and human rights, basic decent demands, are persecuted and jailed.

We Arabs are very good at void rhetoric. Defiantly we shout, “Gaza will be hell for the Israeli soldiers”. “We’ll defend our honor with our teeth and lives.”

When we are defeated, like in 1967 and 1973 we call it Nakba and Naksa (calamity, setback). We stand up again and shout, “We lost a battle, but not the war.” And eventually we blame our helplessness on the West and claim, “They hate us. They don’t want to see us developed. They want to exploit our oil.”

Deema, a Lebanese journalist based in Berlin who does not want to be identified by her last name, says, “The Arab media are filled with sentiments rather than facts. A journalist who sticks to facts is accused of being biased, and risks losing their job.”

Ahmed, a Palestinian journalist, told me, “If you portrait America and Israel as a devil and find clues to support that, you are highly praised by you editor.”

Waleed Qabalan, former editor at Al Jazeera TV, told me, “The fact that images tell thousands of words is a daily reality in all Arab TV channels. They go selectively with these images and spend much money on retaining them. They shun mentioning the root causes of the Israeli offensive, namely Hamas rockets, for example. Besides, in terms of language they formulate reports and news in such a way so that America and Israel are discredited.”.

Arab state-controlled media and commercial outlets repress free differentiated reporting and analysis. They are minutely censored by government-loyal editors. Arab critical scholars and intellectuals are banned from publishing or taking part in TV and radio debates.

The only op-ed in the Arab world who blames Hamas for its defiance and atrocities in Gaza is Fouad Al Hashem. He writes for Al Watan daily, Kuwait. He severely blasts Hamas and Hizbollah. But he does so because he is filled with hate for these organizations which had supported Sadddan of Iraq when he invaded Kuwait.

By and large, the Arab media discourse remains ballistic and irrational. Abdulazeem Hammad says in the Egyptian Al Ahram daily (Jan. 19, 2009), “All the armies of world, including the Israeli, cannot and will never defeat the Palestinian resistance. The struggle will go on until all Palestine is liberated.”

Free public surveys that gauge public opinion on national and regional issues, including the Arab-Israeli conflict, like those in Israel and the West at large, are none existent in the Arab world.

All political plans, including the Road Map and the Oslo Accords have failed because they lack public participation and free debates. Israeli existence concerns and wish for living in peace with its neighbors do not find any echo in the Arab media. They are slammed as “propaganda”.

Arab rejectionists and Islamists, vocal and militant, have all the say in the Arab media. Radical organizations like Hamas and Hizbollah are commended as “freedom fighters.” And Osama Bin Laden is a “ghost” created by American myth.

I was lately in Syria and conducted case studies among relatives and friends whom I mutually trust. They unanimously say that they want peace with Israel and would love to have good relations with America.

Layla, a retired nurse, told me, “The Arab armies have tried to liberate Palestine and failed twice. On the contrary, Israel occupied more Arab land. How long are we going to live like that without peace? It is high time that Arab government returned to the ground of reality and made peace with Israel. Hamas provoked the Israelis. Instead of turning to rebuild their land, which Israel evacuated, the Gazans, I mean Hamas, have smuggled weapons to fire at innocent people.”

“You asked me if I read.” Nabeel said, “No, I don’t. What shall I read? The newspapers? They are filled with lies and propaganda. For balanced and reliable information and news I turn to BBC, for example.”

Ghassan, a Christian said, “out of curiosity I read the Koran and found it filled with passages inciting to hatred and violence. What kind of religion is Islam? And what kind of God is Allah who asks people to slay humans of other religions simply because they are not Muslims? I’m sure that if decent Muslims learn about violence and hatred in the Koran, they would leave Islam. In the past it was the nationalists who wanted to throw the Jews in the Mediterranean. Now it is the Islamists. Enough is enough.”

But if Arabs do not read, where do they learn about Islam? Jalal Al Azm, a philosophy professor at Damascus University told me, “They learn about Islam from their mosques’ imams and self-appointed Islam experts in all kinds of media outlets who daily and profusely issue fatwas (religious edicts), and the illiterate masses believe them. The fatwa market is thriving. Lately, Farfur, the grand mufti of Syria, said in the daily Tishreen (Jan. 7, 2009), ‘if Westerners learned about Islam, they would convert to Islam.” Convert to a religion that preaches violence and hatred?!

In conclusion, unless Arabs are properly and diversely informed and left expressing themselves freely, there is no chance for peace to become a reality in the Middle East.

Muslims Terrorize Muslims in Kuwait

Muslims Terrorize Muslims in Kuwait

Hasina is one of over 70.000 Bangladeshi workers who are daily subject to all kinds of abuse and atrocity in the Sheikhdom of Kuwait. In addition to working from dawn to 2 a.m. she was subject to physical and sexual abuse almost daily. She had to take care of nine children, their parents and grandparents, clean for them, wash and feed the children, and cook for them. Sometimes she was moved from one house to another of relatives and friends to clean and cook. She never got one single free day. For all that work load she was supposed to get around $ 90 a month. Yet for over two years of hard work for that Kuwaiti family Hasina only received three “salaries”, that is $ 270.

Ahmad, the father of the family and his five sons, who pray five times a day, raped Hasina almost every day. One day, Hasina got pregnant and her belly became bigger and bigger. Ahmed took her to the nearest police station and accused her of committing adultery. Ahmed took with him the holy Koran and cited to the police officer the verdict which the Koran dictates in such cases. He read loudly, “The (unmarried) woman or (unmarried) man found guilty of sexual intercourse – lash each one of them with a hundred lashes.” (Surah 24, verse 2).

As Hasina wanted to tell the police officer her version of the story, she was immediately asked to “shut up”. She wanted to tell him that she was often viciously beaten and bestially raped. She wanted to show him the numerous bite marks all over her arms and back. “The police officer frowned at me and ordered me to shut up.” She later told her friend.
Hasina was often beaten by Fatima, Ahmad’s wife. She either used a thick stick or any other heavy object at hand. Fatima knew that her husband used to rape Hasina, but she could not do anything. She poured her anger and frustration on Hasina. She hated to see Hasian sharing Ahmad, her husband, in bed.
By the way, in general, Arab women have not the right to divorce. It is only the man’s right. According to the Shari’a if the husband spells out the phrase, “You’re divorced” three times, the wife is “legally” divorced. Once she is divorced, she is socially stigmatized, materially helpless, and hardly can marry again, especially if she has children. It is hell for women.
Arab men, on the other hand, brag of adultery. It is a sign of manhood and courtship.
Hasina has been behind bars for the past three months awaiting a court ruling. Most probably, she would be deported to her home country, Bangladesh. Hasina told a friend, who recently visited her in prison, “The purgatory of Bangladesh is far better than the Kuwaiti paradise.”

In short, the sadistic Kuwaiti family felt impunity to treat Hasina as NO human should be treated. She was, simply, a slave in her employer’s house.
Now, Hasina wonders how she and her family are going to survive. She, her husband, and family sold everything back home to finance the trip to the “promised land”, Kuwait. “This land, whose people brag that they are Muslims, have ruined my life and that of my children. Allah may punish them!” She told her friend with tears in her eyes.
Hasina’s ordeal is a pattern of human trafficking, i.e. slavery in the 21st century in the Middle East, in particular in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and Qatar. All human rights organizations and the US State Department, for years now, have classified these countries among the worst in terms of human trafficking. Kuwait and the other Arab countries on the Persian Gulf have been urged to do something against human trafficking, but to no avail.

To add insult to injury, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Home Affairs commented on the US report of 2007, “The State of Kuwait opens its arms to those incoming workers and even provides them with all available job opportunities, unlike many other countries which combat and deport them on the grounds of fighting illegal immigration”.

Kuwait elected last May a new Parliament. Half of its members are Islamists. They support extremist Arabs in Iraq, Palestine, and Lebanon. Like the previous parliament, the new one debates trivial issues, gender-segregation in public places, NO music in public places, etc. Vital issues like economic development, improving the performance of local human resources are rarely debated.
Kuwait University students graduate with shallow knowledge of reading and writing. What for? Foreign cheap labor force, like Hasina, does the job. Almost in all walks of life, the ones who do the job are expatriates. The oil industry is operated by Indian and Philippine engineers. The streets are cleaned and the rubbish is collected by Bangladeshis. Lawyers employ Egyptian assistants who do the job. “Academics” plagiarize to get promoted to professors. Even columnists make writers from Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon write for them. Most journalists and editors come also from these countries.
In other words, thanks to oil, the majority of Kuwaitis are PARASITES. They get big salaries for doing nothing, they consume, and abuse foreign workers.
The question is, why is America and the West in general, not putting the same pressure on the Arab Gulf countries to combat human trafficking and abuse of foreign workers they are putting on China, Russia, and Iran for their dismal human rights records?

Is it because the victims of human trafficking are not American and not European and oil comes first?
Human trafficking is as inhumane and devastating as terrorism and nuclear ballistic programs. Thousands of innocent poor people and their families are suffering from human trafficking. It is not enough to issue reports. Deeds have got to follow. Especially the USA has got enough influence and leverage over the Arab Gulf States to force them change their inhuman migration practices.
America and Europe must stop the Gulf Arabs abusing foreign workers. The ad nausea game: scathing criticism versus “We welcome foreign workers” must stop. Declared “friendship” to America and Europe and oil supplies should not earn the Arab Gulf states immunity from removing human trafficking and abuse of human rights.

The US State Department reports on human trafficking and human rights abuse remain useless and mere rhetoric unless they are backed by action.

Human trafficking, abusing workers, and disrespect of universal human rights should not be regarded internal petty crimes. They are as severe as war crimes. The culprits must be brought to justice and the victims must be compensated by the states where they have been abused.

The war on terror should be extended to include terror in households and work places in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates. Human life is more precious than oil if we wanted to be called “civilized”.
