Pro-Islam Signs on NYC Pedicabs

Here we see Muslims once again using the NYC public transportation system as a platform, while trying to bring more people to Islam. My suggestion is that if you see a pedicab with a pro-Islam ad on it, tell the driver that you do not accept Islam and will find another pedicab. Thank you.

Ads for Islam is the way on Manhattan Pedicabs...

Ever since we first caught this on the streets of mid-town Manhattan (and had only a cellphone to grab a quick-pic before it rode up 8th Avenue)....

We've been wondering: WHY did that sign seem to disappear? Was there a complaint?

No idea....but...some pedicabs were posting regular ads on the back (some of them)and then this made an appearance the other day (is it an "ad"?)

Innocent? No Big Deal? Would you want to ride around in a pedicab with this advertisement on the back??

Personally, I would like to see some "Islam, just say NO" ads!

Fla:Protesters hit the Streets Over Islamic bus ads

This is follow up to the story CAIR:Jesus was a Muslim.
Led by Joe Kaufman of Americans Against Hate dozens of non-Muslims took to the streets in protest of CAIR's
Islamic bus ads.

FORT LAUDERDALE - About 60 people turned out for a noontime rally today outside County Hall to show their opposition to transit buses carrying advertising that they say implies that religious figures Abraham, Moses and Jesus were Muslim.

"We're hoping the counties of Broward and Miami-Dade will remove the signage from the buses," said rally organizer Joe Kaufman, a Coral Springs resident and Jewish activist who heads a group called Americans Against Hate.

The transit buses in question carry advertising paid for by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and read "ISLAM: The Way of Life of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad."

CAIR's South Florida chapter director, Altaf Ali, says a Muslim is anyone who submits their will to God and by that definition, "Abraham and all the prophets are Muslim."

On the sidewalk along Andrews Avenue, the demonstrators sang patriotic American songs, waved U.S. and Israeli flags and carried signs with slogans that included, "Throw CAIR off the bus."

Ken Freeman, 65, a retired psychologist from Coconut Creek said he considers the ads "inflammatory."

"Why on a bus?," he said "It sort of eggs you on."
