A former Your Black Muslim Bakery associate wanted in two California counties has been arrested in St. Louis.

A St. Louis Metropolitan Police spokeswoman confirmed Friday the arrest of Ajuwon Fardjamaal Muhammad, 25, but couldn't immediately provide any details on the circumstances. An online court records system indicates he's charged there with misdemeanor interference with legal process.

Muhammad is wanted in Alameda County for his alleged role in the New Year's Eve beating of an East Oakland man; he's charged with battery with serious bodily injury and criminal threats. Police case notes say victim Jerome Muhammad reported eight to 12 men attacked him Dec. 31 at the home he rented on Hamilton Street.

"One suspect sat on top of him while the others beat him," the notes say, adding Ajuwon Muhammad allegedly told Jerome Muhammad "that if he retaliated in any way they would kill him" and also "had grabbed a pair of pliers and threaten (sic) to rip out his tongue and pull out his teeth." The victim told police his assailants threw all of his personal property out of the residence, evicting him.

Muhammad also currently faces two counts of receiving stolen property in San Joaquin County; he missed a March court date for that case, and so a warrant has been issued there for his arrest, too.

Ajuwon Muhammad was charged along with Your Black Muslim Bakery's final CEO, Yusuf Bey IV, and Dyamen Williams, in a case involving alleged attempts to open a bank account and buy cars with bogus IDs; he was convicted last August of filing a false financial statement and sentenced to five years of probation.

Williams and Ajuwon Muhammad also were arrested together in October 2006 in San Jose after police saw Muhammad throw a 9 mm handgun from a car. Muhammad was arrested after a brief struggle, according to an Oakland officer's affidavit describing the San Jose police report: "Muhammad stated that he wished officers had 'put a bullet in him' because he wanted to be a martyr." Muhammad fled town but was arrested in St. Louis in December 2007 and extradited to face the San Jose charges; he pleaded guilty to felony possession of stolen property and misdemeanor carrying a loaded firearm, and was sentenced in April 2008 to 198 days in jail with credit for time served and three years of probation.

Christians Denied Funerals in Yemen

While some people still consider Yemen a "moderate" Islamic country, that is far from the truth. It must have something to do with their nasty little religious police.

Ethiopian Immigrants Must Convert to Islam

Millions of Ethiopian Christian immigrants are living under difficult social, cultural and economic conditions in Yemen.

Famine, starvation, unemployment, torture, abuse, and lack of freedom and democracy in their birth country force them to migrate to Yemen, one of the poorest countries in the world. In order to survive, a Christian in Yemen has to convert to Islam or be alienated.

Funerals Denied to Christians in Yemen

The consequences of not converting can be felt in both life -- and death. If an Ethiopian Christian maintains their religion, after death the Yemeni government will not permit them to be buried in Sana'a. The deceased's name has to be changed (for a fee) to an Islam name by a known Muslim Ethiopian who has good contact with Yemeni officials.

Mr. Imran and Hajji Ahmed are Muslim Ethiopians who have been living in Yemen for more than 20 years. Both are married to half cast Yemenis (in Arabic they are known as Muweleds). They earn a living from Ethiopian refugees in Yemen by processing documents and getting licenses for burial.

Since they have lived in Yemen for many years, they say they understand the behavior of Yemenis when it comes to money. They are also close relatives of Tofick Abdullahi Ahemed, the Ambassador of the Ethiopian Embassy in Yemen. The Ambassador believes that Christianity should not be acknowledged in Yemen.

The Ethiopian Orthodox Church and two Ethiopian Protestant Churches in Yemen are now claiming the Embassy and the ruling faction in Ethiopia do nothing to solve the violence they are experiencing in Yemen.

Meanwhile, the Embassy says its main objective is promoting trade, investment and tourism.

Chicago Call to Action:Islamic Hate Group to Give pro-Sharia Speech

This coming Sunday the pro-Sharia Islamic hate group Hizb ut-Tahrir America will be holding a conference entitled "Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam" at the Oak Lawn Hilton.

This is what their website currently states.

"He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), that He may make it (Islam) superior over all religions. And All-Sufficient is Allah as a Witness." (TMQ 48:28)

Islamic 'fringe' group set to meet in Oak Lawn

A controversial Islamic group is hosting a conference at the Oak Lawn Hilton Sunday, bringing with it a message of the evils of capitalism.

It' s called Hizb ut-Tahrir America, a faction of the international Hizb ut-Tahrir group, which advocates for implementing Islamic doctrine across the globe by organizing into a unified caliphate, a form of rule based on the Islamic religion.

Although the group dismisses democracy - the theme of Sunday's conference is the "Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam" - they hope to elect one Muslim worldwide ruler, or caliph, and hold that person accountable.

The conference, widely believed to be the first of its kind in America, includes lectures titled "The Suffering Under Capitalism" and "Ownership and Distribution of Wealth in Islam."

Multiple e-mails to a conference spokesman were not returned Thursday, but according to the conference Web site, Hizb ut-Tahrir "works to cultivate a Muslim community that lives by Islam in thought and deed, whereby adhering to the rules of Islam and preserving a strong Islamic identity. The party does not work in the West to change the system of government, but works to project a positive image of Islam to Western society and engages in dialogue with Western thinkers, policymakers and academics."

Critics say that's a revisionist overview of the group's role.

Junaid Afeef, executive director of the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago, said Hizb ut-Tahrir's role locally has been relegated to fringe literature passed out at local mosques.

He said the group's "conspiracy theorist" teachings aren't "grounded in authentic Islam or rooted in reality."

As for the idea of caliphate, Afeef said that's an "aspirational" goal for all Muslims - just not in the way it's billed in Hizb ut-Tahrir promotional literature.

He explained that caliphate is "an idea that we need to work toward justice and just society, one that's ruled in a manner that promotes justice and equality to all people.

"That idea of a worldwide global empire run by a Muslim leader," he said, "it's a farce."

Sunday's conference was recently canceled when its original host, the Aqsa School in Bridgeview, retracted its invitation after school officials said Hizb ut-Tahrir misrepresented its intentions.

A representative of the school said the group said it wanted to host a bazaar to sell food and clothes, but when school officials learned more about the planned event they declined to host it.

On its Web site, Hizb ut-Tahrir refutes the school's claim, saying the school knew its plans all along.

The event found a new home at the Oak Lawn Hilton, 9333 S. Cicero Ave.
A hotel manager said the company is giving the group the same treatment as any other customers. They are, however, hiring extra security.

The gathering has drawn the ire of a Washington, D.C.-based peace group.
Jeffrey Imm, founder of Responsible for Equality and Liberty (REAL) group, called Hizb ut-Tahrir "Islamic supremacists" hoping to "impose their religious beliefs, their religious views on a form of governance and theocracy over other people.

"It's a systematic ideology of what we believe is institutionalized hate."

Imm is planning a protest to coincide with Sunday's conference, which begins at 11 a.m. and runs to 5:30 p.m.

"They have the right to speak against democracy," he said. "We have the right and responsibility to speak out for equality and liberty."

Afeef, with Chicago's Council of Islamic Organizations, said his group has a very active youth program and hopes the leaflets and Facebook pages that Hizb ut-Tahrir is using to advertise its Sunday's gathering aren't effective.

"If we see they draw a lot of people, that would be a great concern for us," he said. "It's antithetical to what we believe."

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Malaysian police have arrested nine Christians accused of trying to convert Muslim university students — a serious crime punishable by prison in this Muslim-majority country, a lawyer said Wednesday.

The suspects have denied the allegation, which could aggravate complaints by religious minorities that authorities are increasingly ignoring their rights in favor of Islam.

Proselytizing of Muslims by members of other religions is forbidden in Malaysia, though the reverse is allowed. Muslims, who comprise nearly two-thirds of Malaysia's 28 million people, are also not legally permitted to change religion.

Police detained the nine in a hostel room at the Universiti Putra Malaysia near Kuala Lumpur late Tuesday, said Annou Xavier, a lawyer who handles cases involving religion. He spoke to The Associated Press by phone from the police station where the nine are being held.

They claimed they were visiting friends, but a Muslim student apparently filed a police complaint accusing them of trying to convert Muslims, Xavier said.
"These allegations are baseless and untrue," Xavier said.

The identities of the nine were not immediately clear. The Malaysian Insider independent news Web site said they were students belonging to a Malaysian Christian organization.

Zahedi Ayob, the police chief of Sepang district near Kuala Lumpur, said he could not immediately confirm the arrests.

Cases of non-Muslims preaching to Muslims are rare in Malaysia. Penalties differ for various states, but most provide for prison terms of at least two years. One northern state also prescribes a punishment of six lashes with a rattan cane.

Iran Hangs 13 Sunnis

After the mass demonstrations in Iran the ruling Mullahs hanged numerous opposition supporters. Today the Shiite leaders of Iran have continued with their Islamic blood lust and have hanged over a dozen of their Sunni rivals.

Authorities in southeastern Iran on Tuesdayhanged 13 members of a Sunni Muslim rebel group convicted of bombingsand killings in the area, the official IRNA news agency reportedTuesday.

The report said Abdulhamid Rigi,brother of Abdulmalik Rigi, leader of the group known as Jundallah orSoldiers of God, had been scheduled to be hanged along with the 13 menon Tuesday but his execution was postponed. It gave no reason for thepostponement.

Earlier on Tuesday, state radio reported that Abdulhamid Rigi was one of 14 men hanged.

There was no immediate explanation for the discrepancy.

Theexecutions, according to the state radio, took place in the city ofZahedan, some 930 miles (1,500 kilometers) southeast of Iran's capitalTehran and scene of some of the deadliest attacks blamed on Jundallah,which has carried out bombings, kidnappings and killings in the area inrecent years.

The group is composed of Sunnisfrom the Baluchi ethnic minority who complain of persecution by theoverwhelmingly Shiite and Persian Iranian government.

IRNAsaid all 13 men were supposed to be hanged in public but authoritieschanged their mind at the last minute and decided to execute theminside Zahedan's main prison. The state radio had earlier reported thatthe executions took place in public.

The areain southeast Iran where Jundallah is active also is a key smugglingpoint for drugs - mainly opium - and is the scene of frequent clashesbetween police and traffickers.

Iranianauthorities say Jundallah has close ties to "foreign forces" inneighboring Afghanistan, a possible reference to the al-Qaida terrornetwork.

Iran has faced several ethnic andreligious insurgencies that have carried out sporadic, sometimes deadlyattacks in recent years - though none have amounted to a serious threatto the government.

In May, a suicide bombingtargeting a Shiite mosque in Zahedan killed 25 worshippers. In 2007, acar bomb killed 11 members of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards nearZahedan, capital of the large Sistan-Baluchistan province and home toabout a million of Iran's five million Sunni Muslims.

The remainder of Iran's 70 million people are mostly Shiite Muslims.

Michigan:Islamic Games 09 July 24-26

Recently we saw a video exposing how Muslims in Michigan oppressed and attacked Christians at the 14Th annual Arab International Festival. Now on July 24-26 Muslims will hold the Islamic Games 09 in the Islamic capital of the USA, Michigan. The main goal of the event is to strengthen the Muslim community. Like I have been saying, they are not here to assimilate, they are here to stick together, expand, and eventually try and take over.

The Islamic Games was initially held in the late 80’s and early 90’s. After some years, as the Muslim population increased and their needs grew, the Islamic Games embarked to operate at a higher level to accommodate the expansion. Many more events, certified officials, appropriate venues, and a greater participation lead the Committee to build an organization that would ensure that the Islamic Games is presented professionally while becoming a major annual attraction for North American Muslims.

The Islamic Games is somewhat like the PanAm Games or the Asian Games or the Commonwealth Games; it brings athletes of the similar denomination to compete and network with each other. In this instance, the Islamic Games provides a forum for Muslim athletes and teams to participate in sports and athletics with others in a Halal environment. Islamic Games plans to host regional games in the USA that would culminate at a National Islamic Games.

The Islamic Games also provides an ideal opportunity for Muslim companies as well as companies interested in the American Muslim market to gain ready access to the Muslim community. With the growing interest and increasing attendance at Islamic Games events sponsorship and vending are very lucrative opportunities.

China to protect Chinese overseas from terrorism: govt

BEIJING, CHINA - China will take all necessary measures to protect its people overseas, the government said Tuesday, after Al-Qaeda reportedly vowed to avenge the deaths of Muslims killed in Xinjiang's unrest.

"The Chinese government opposes terrorism in any form," foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang told reporters.

"We will keep a close eye on developments and make joint efforts with relevant countries to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of overseas Chinese institutions and people."

Qin's remarks came after London-based risk analysis firm Stirling Assynt said Al-Qaeda had vowed to avenge the deaths of Muslims killed in violence in China's Urumqi city by targeting Chinese workers in northwest Africa.

It is the first time Osama bin Laden's network has directly threatened China or its interests, the Stirling report noted, and said a desire for vengeance was spreading over the global jihadist community.

Hundreds of thousands of Chinese work in the Middle East and North Africa, including 50,000 in Algeria, the report estimated.

"There is an increasing amount of chatter... among jihadists who claim they want to see action against China," Stirling Assynt report said.

"Some of these individuals have been actively seeking information on China's interests in the Muslim world, which they could use for targeting purposes."

Qin did not comment directly on the Stirling report.

Chinese authorities have said unrest in Urumqion July 5 left 184 people dead - most of whom were Han, China's dominant ethnic group - and more than 1,600 injured.

Uighur leaders accuse Chinese forces of opening fire on peaceful protests, and say the number of people to have died is far higher than the official tally.
